In the aftermath of\u00a0the United States\u2019 recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel\u00a0and the decision by other countries to do the same, a Muslim\u00a0cleric is warning that no Muslim has the right to give up any land to any \u201cenemy.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Palestinian Media Watch,<\/a>\u00a0the threat came from the grand mufti of Jerusalem and the Palestinian Territories, Sheik Muhammad Hussein, in the official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida.<\/p>\n

\u201cJerusalem and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque are an Islamic waqf until Judgment Day; they cannot be sold, given away, or bequeathed, and no one has the right to relinquish them,\u201d<\/p>\n

PMW noted the statement aligns closely with the charter of the Hamas terror organization, which states: \u201cThe land of Palestine in an Islamic waqf consecrated for future Moslem generations until Judgment Day. It, or any part of it, should not be squandered: it, or any part of it, should not be given up.\u201d<\/p>\n

There will be changes coming–including war.<\/p>\n

But this will not end as hoped by the USA (cf. Daniel 11:39; see also USA in Prophecy: The Strongest Fortresses<\/a><\/span>) or Israel (cf. Daniel 11:31).<\/p>\n

Despite certain Jewish and American hopes, steps are moving in this direction.<\/p>\n

Things will go more towards the way of the Palestinians in time.<\/p>\n
