In an interview that aired on the eve of his Tuesday visit to Austria, Putin denied any Russian scheme to weaken the European Union by lending support to Eurosceptic and populist movements.<\/p>\n

“On the contrary, we have to expand our cooperation with the EU,” the Russian president told Austrian public broadcaster ORF.<\/p>\n

Putin said that Russia needed a strong EU because of its trade links with the bloc.<\/p>\n

“We do not pursue the objective of dividing anything or anyone in the EU,” he said.<\/p>\n

President Vladimir Putin has insisted Russia is not trying to split the European Union.<\/p>\n

His remarks come ahead of a visit to Austria, his first trip to a Western European country in almost a year.<\/p>\n

He told Austrian ORF television he wanted a “united and prosperous” EU, calling it Russia’s most important commercial and economic partner.<\/p>\n

The pro-Putin United Russia party has close links with far-right parties in the EU, which alarms many liberals. …<\/p>\n

Italy’s new government openly called for a review of EU sanctions on Tuesday, starting with those that “threaten civil society in Russia”. Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte told parliament in Rome that Italy was in favour of opening up towards Russia, which represented a key partner for Italian business.<\/p>\n

Russia’s annexation of Crimea in 2014 triggered the sanctions, later ratcheted up as Russia helped separatists in eastern Ukraine, and relations with the EU remain frosty. …<\/p>\n

Small Austria offers Vladimir Putin a big opportunity – as geopolitical as it is economic.<\/p>\n

Mr Putin is keen to bust out of the isolationism – and the sanctions – imposed on Russia by the West since its annexation of Crimea four years ago.<\/p>\n

He is well aware the Western alliance is now strained by tensions between Europe and the Trump administration, and he hopes to exploit them. https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/world-europe-44364429<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Many in Europe believe that Donald Trump is trying to divide the European Union. Many in Europe are upset that the Trump Administration wants to impose additional sanctions on Iran, that will affect European nations. The Trump Administration has proposed various sanctions against Russia and Vladimir Putin does not like that.<\/p>\n

As I wrote prior to Donald Trump taking office, there would be many “unintended consequences” from his statements and policies that would lead to the fulfillment of biblical prophecies. Notice one such statement from my book Donald Trump and America\u2019s Apocalypse<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Donald Trump\u2019s foreign policy statements have unsettled many\u2014in the U.S.A. as well as foreign nations. He seems like he will more unpredictable than Richard Nixon.<\/span><\/p>\n

There is also something referred to as the \u201claw of unintended consequences.\u201d There are consequences for the U.S.A., Europe, and elsewhere that have and will occur because of Donald Trump\u2019s statements and actions. … We are in the last days of God\u2019s 6000\/7000 year plan. A day to God is like 1000 years (2 Peter 3:8; Psalm 90:4), and since it is wise to know the days (Psalm 90:12), this is a reason that Donald Trump would be apocalyptic. We are getting close to the end of the time God gave humans to rule themselves. Thus, we are close to the start of the Great Tribulation\u00a0(which will not happen in Donald Trump\u2019s first presidential term) and the fulfillment of related prophecies in the Book of Revelation.

Unlike Donald Trump who was pro-Brexit, Vladimir Putin was anti-Brexit. Europe is upset with Donald Trump, and less so with Vladimir Putin.<\/p>\n

The Russians clearly want to cooperate with the Europeans. And yes, this is partially because the Russians would like USA influence reduced–and Europe will do that more than most Russians probably think is possible (cf. Daniel 11:39; Revelation 13:3-4).<\/p>\n

Back in 1962, notice something that the old Radio Church of God published:<\/p>\n

Modern Europe is counseling and making treaties and alliances and agreements to conquer this earth! … Germany, those living in Germany, even the German government, may not yet know that they are going to join in a treaty with the Russians to destroy the United States and bring it to its knees-it is not in his \u201cheart\u201d to think so, but on the other hand it IS in his \u201cheart\u201d to destroy-the very characteristic of the Assyrian, the modern German, is a harsh, cruel, iron, dedication to militarism and destruction!<\/em> … MAN’S ONLY HOPE LIES IN TURNING TO HIS CREATOR GOD! “At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom. to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy it; If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, TURN FROM THEIR EVIL, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them… Behold, I frame evil against YOU, and devise a device against YOU: return ye now EVERY ONE from his evil way and make your ways and your doings good!” (Jer. 18:7, 8, 11). The German people are now asking themselves: “Can we rely on the Americans and British?” … These questions lead to rhe logical conclusion that maybe the only people the Germans can rely on themselves. They are now thinking: “Perhaps we can strike a better bargain with the Russians ourselves.” …<\/p>\n

Once a German-dominated Europe is fully established, Germany will be ready to negotiate and bargain with Russia- and behind the backs of the Western Allies if necessary. …<\/p>\n

When will a Russo-German deal be made? Here is a quotation from a circular letter issued in September, 1950 by the Nazi Geo-political Center in Madrid: “However long we may continue to milk the Americans of millions of dollars, there must come the inevitable moment when we shall have to make it crystal clear to them that we are not willing to join the fight against Russia for American interests … (Germany Plots with the Kremlin by T H. Terens, p. 15). …<\/p>\n

Most Americans and Britons are not aware of what Germany and Europe are planning against them. This is partly due to the cunning of German. politics. …<\/p>\n

World events are moving swiftly toward the climax when Great Britain and the United. States will be attacked, conquered and DESTROYED! (Boraker R. Are the Germans Secretly Dealing with Moscow? Plain Truth, May 1962)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Yes, I, too, expect that Russia will make a deal with the Europeans. Some have been hinted at this century (see Greece begs Germany\u2019s Merkel not to throw them \u2018overboard,\u2019 while it makes deals with Russia<\/a>; see also Vladimir Putin allegedly helped stop a Grexit<\/a>).<\/p>\n

How will this end for the USA?<\/p>\n

Not well.<\/p>\n

Consider that although Russia sold Alaska to the United States in the 1800s, there have been reports that it wants it back.<\/p>\n

Apparently, even Stalin may have wanted to regain it according to the following story:<\/p>\n

It is certainly possible that if Russia makes a deal with the rising European Beast power that it may end up with Alaska.<\/p>\n

Notice the following Bible prophecy:<\/p>\n

39 Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain (Daniel 11:39).<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The “he” is the European<\/a> King of the North<\/a> (cf. Daniel 11:40).
