Austria is taking steps against ‘political Islam’:<\/p>\n

The Austrian government is shutting down seven mosques and expelling imams. It’s part of measures by the chancellor Sebastian Kurz<\/a> to target what he calls “political Islam” in the country. https:\/\/www.aljazeera.com\/news\/2018\/06\/austria-crackdown-government-shutdown-mosques-180609120321289.html<\/a><\/p>\n

Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz announced Friday he will close seven mosques and review the visas of dozens of imams, because they may violate a 2015 law banning foreign funding of religious groups and institutions.<\/p>\n

Kurz explained his government is enforcing that law.<\/p>\n

“That never happened under my predecessors,” he wrote on Twitter. He said his administration will review the residence permits of 40 imams employed by ATIB, a union of Turkish-Islamic cultural organizations in Austria. Kurz added that his crackdown would prevent “<\/strong>the formation of #ParallelSocieties and will continue to do so when it comes to violations of the #IslamLaw.”<\/p>\n

The Interior Minister Herbert Kickl said the permits of two imams were revoked and five more imams were denied first-time permits, according to the Associated Press. <\/a><\/p>\n

A spokesman for ATIB acknowledged its imams were paid for by the Turkish Directorate of Religious Affairs, or Diyanet, the state’s religious authority, according to Reuters<\/a>. Spokesman Yasar Ersoy added his organization was working on imams getting paid from funds within Austria.<\/p>\n

A spokesman for Turkey’s government, Ibrahim Kalin, rebuked <\/a>the move, saying it was “a reflection of the Islamophobic, racist and discriminatory wave” in Austria. https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2018\/06\/08\/618199525\/austria-will-shutter-7-mosques-and-review-residency-of-dozens-of-imams<\/a><\/p>\n

Austria\u2019s far-Right Freedom Party has been sworn in to power amid a heavy police presence as protesters waved \u2018No Nazi pigs\u2019 signs in Vienna this morning.<\/p>\n

The party\u2019s coalition with the conservative People\u2019s Party (OeVP) was agreed on Friday along with pledges to stop illegal immigration<\/a> and resist EU centralisation.<\/p>\n

It will be led by Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, who took over the OeVP in May and moved it to the right, securing his party first place in October elections. \u2026<\/p>\n

At Kurz\u2019s side for the investiture by Austria\u2019s president in the Hapsburg dynasty\u2019s imperial palace in Vienna was FPOe chief Heinz-Christian Strache, 48, now vice-chancellor, and FPOe general secretary Herbert Kickl, the new interior minister.<\/p>\n

Strache has said Islam \u2018has no place in Europe\u2019 and last year called German Chancellor Angela Merkel \u2018the most dangerous woman in Europe\u2019 for her open-door refugee policy.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, Strache trumpeted to his 750,000 followers on Facebook that the new government would slash social benefits for asylum-seekers.<\/p>\n

As I have been writing for years, Europe will NOT keep tolerating Islam and Islamic immigrants. Change will come.<\/p>\n

BERLIN\u2014German Chancellor Angela Merkel joined her country\u2019s increasingly acrimonious debate about immigration over the weekend, declaring that multiculturalism in Germany had been a \u201ctotal failure.\u201d\u2026<\/p>\n

Ms. Merkel\u2019s party has railed against multiculturalism for years, arguing for the primacy of German Leitkultur<\/em>, a term that evokes the country\u2019s Judeo-Christian traditions, as well as the principles of the age of the enlightenment.<\/p>\n

Yet the timing of Ms. Merkel\u2019s comments, which come in the midst of a public debate over what Germany can do to better integrate immigrants, many of whom are Muslim, has drawn attention. Polls indicate that a growing number of Germans believe that too many of the country\u2019s foreigners live in what are often referred to as \u201cparallel communities\u201d with little or no connection with German culture\u2026<\/p>\n

Though immigration has been a hot political topic in Germany for years, the latest debate began in August after the publication of a book by Bundesbank official Thilo Sarrazin in which he warned against the growing Islamization of Germany\u2026<\/p>\n

Last week, Horst Seehofer, the leader of the Christian Democrats Bavarian sister party, said Germany should consider cutting off immigration from Turkey and Arab countries altogether, an idea Ms. Merkel has opposed.<\/p>\n

The balancing act Ms. Merkel is trying to pull off by trying to appeal to both conservative and mainstream voters was apparent in her weekend speech. Even as she attacked multiculturalism, Ms. Merkel endorsed a recent speech Germany\u2019s president in which he said that Islam is \u201ca part of Germany.\u201d http:\/\/online.wsj.com\/article\/SB10001424052702304250404575558583224907168.html?mod=googlenews_wsj<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The German plan, that Angela Merkel later stated, is to eventually send many of the Muslims back. Adolf Hitler pushed for ethnic ‘purity’ and his echos are still in Germany. Germany will be a leader in pushing out Islam (watch also European Unity to be like Hitler?<\/a>). Muslims will not like this, yet the reality is that more and more in Europe want to do something NOW about the Islamic situation.<\/p>\n

Here is something I wrote about this in 2010:<\/p>\n

The reality is that most Germans do not consider that Islam is part of Germany. The stage is being set for a more forceful German leader … to rise up and take this to the next level. … the Germans may follow the lead of others in Europe such as France that banned burqas, and Switzerland that banned the construction of Islamic minarets. There are now six nations that have banned the burqa in Europe (see Denmark is the 6th EU nation to ban burqas: Will there be war between the Europeans and the Arabs?<\/a>) and Germany has proposed limits to them (see Germany\u2019s Merkel wants to ban the burqa and not tolerate any version of sharia<\/a>).<\/p>\n

While Austria’s Sebastion Kurz is a more forceful leader, expect to see a much more forceful leader to one day arise in Europe.<\/p>\n

Europe, will change. The Bible shows that Europe will reorganize and a dictatorial leader will emerge:<\/p>\n

12 \u201cThe ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. 13 These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast<\/strong>. (Revelation 17:12-13, NKJV)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The final European Beast leader, who is also known as the final King of the North<\/a>, will ultimately promote his religion (Daniel 11:36-38; which will not be Islam, he will at first feign and claim a form of Roman Catholicism). He will make a deceptive deal with the leader of a confederation of peoples in North Africa and the Middle East (cf. Daniel 11:27; Psalm 83:3-8) and then destroy the USA and its Anglo-Saxon allies (Daniel 11:39; see also USA in Prophecy: The Strongest Fortresses<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Yet, Islamic issues will be a factor in the rise of this Beast leader–the Bible shows that a European Beast<\/a> leader will, after destroying the USA (Daniel 11:39), push against and overwhelm a power from the Middle East and North Africa (Daniel 11:40-43).<\/p>\n

It should be noted that this Beast leader is NOT Russian (see also Is Russia the King of the North?<\/a>). Despite claims from Protestant<\/a> Joel Richardson, this Beast leader is NOT Islamic (see also Is There an Islamic Antichrist?<\/a>).<\/p>\n

The Bible shows that there will be a non-Islamic, non-Christian, religion that will be a requirement in Europe:<\/p>\n

Sadly, this leader seems to be looked forward to in various Catholic writings.<\/p>\n

According to some Catholic writings, a leader is expected to arise that will result in pushing Islam out of Europe:<\/p>\n

St. Francis de Paul<\/em> (1470):\u2026From your lordship shall be born the great leader of the holy militia\u2026the Great Monarch\u2026He shall be a great captain and prince of holy men, who shall be called \u2018the holy Cross-bearers of Jesus Christ,\u2019 with whom he will destroy the Mahometan sect and the rest of the infidels\u2026He shall be the great founder of a new religious order different from all the others<\/strong>\u2026This shall be the last religious order in the Church and shall do more good for our holy religion than all other religious institutes. By force of arms he shall take possession of a great kingdom. He shall destroy the sect of Mahomet\u2026There will be one fold, one shepherd. He shall reign until the end of time. On the whole earth there will be twelve kings, one emperor and one pope. (Culleton, p. 157-161).<\/p>\n

Venerable Bartholomew Holzhauser <\/em>(died 1658):\u2026\u201dWhen everything has been ruined by war; when Catholics are hard pressed by traitorous co-religionists and heretics; when the Church and her servants are denied their rights, the monarchies have been abolished and their rulers murdered\u2026There will rise a valiant monarch anointed \u2026 \u201cHe will root out false doctrines and destroy the rule of the Moslemism. Jean Paul Richter<\/em> (d. 1809): Through a terrible purgatory Europe will return to the faith (Culleton, p. 182).<\/p>\n

Brother Louis Rocco<\/em> (19th century): All over Europe there will rage terrible civil wars\u2026The German sections of Austria will join Germany, so will also the commercial cities of Belgium and Switzerland. A Catholic descendant of a German imperial house will rule a united Germany with peace, prosperity and great power, for God will be with this sovereign (the Great Monarch?)\u2026A Great Monarch will arise after a period of terrible wars and persecutions in Europe. He will be a Catholic; he will not be a German (Culleton, p. 195).<\/p>\n

Blessed Joannes Amadeus de Sylva<\/em> (died 1482): Germany and Spain will unite under a great prince\u2026After much slaughtering, the other nations will be forced to come into this union. There is no hope for the unbelievers until all of Germany is converted; then all will happen quickly\u2026the time will be prolonged until all countries unite under the Great Ruler. After this union, mass conversions will take place\u2026 (Connor, Prophecy for Today, p. 34).<\/p>\n

Catholic Priest and saint John Bosco<\/em> (19th century): War will come from the south, peace from the north. \u2026 But behold, a great warrior from the north appears, a banner in his right hand, his arm bearing this inscription: \u2018Irresistible is the hand of the Lord.\u2019 At that moment the Venerable Old Man of Rome went forward to meet him, wielding a flaming torch. The banner then grew larger and its blackness became white as snow; in its center stood out the name of the Almighty in golden letter. The warrior and his followers bowed profoundly to the Venerable Old Man and joined hands with him. (THE THREE PROPHECIES OF ST. Pseudo-Methodius<\/em> (7th century): This new Muslim invasion will be a punishment without limit and mercy\u2026In France, people of Christians will fight and kill them\u2026At that same time the Muslims will be killed and they will know the tribulation\u2026The Lord will give them to the powers of the Christians whose empire will be elevated above all empires\u2026The Roman King (Great Monarch) will show a great indignation against those who will have denied Christ in Egypt or in Arabia (Araujo, Fabio R. Selected Prophecies and Prophets. BookSurge LLC, Charlestown (SC), 2007, p. 103).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The \u2018Great Monarch\u2019 that is spoken of above is quite similar to the final King of the North<\/a> that the Bible warns against. Both Catholic and biblical prophecy teach that this leader will be a European, probably at least partially of German heritage, and he will fight those of the Arab\/Muslim lands. As the 21st century proceeds, do not be surprised that Islam will be pushed out of Europe to a major degree (Daniel 11:36-38; Revelation 13:4,8,11-17).<\/p>\n

Notice both a Catholic and a biblical prophecy:<\/p>\n

Rudolph Gekner<\/em> (died 1675). \u201cA great prince of the North with a most powerful army will traverse all Europe, uproot all republics, and exterminate all rebels. His sword moved by Divine power will most valiantly defend the Church of Jesus Christ. He will combat on behalf of the true orthodox faith, and shall subdue to his dominion the Mahometan Empire.\u201d (Cited in Connor, Edward. Prophecy for Today. Imprimatur + A.J. Willinger, Bishop of Monterey-Fresno; Reprint: Tan Books and Publishers, Rockford (IL), 1984, p.36).<\/p>\n

40 \u201cAt the time of the end the king of the South shall attack him; and the king of the North shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter the countries, overwhelm them, and pass through. 41 He shall also enter the Glorious Land, and many countries shall be overthrown; but these shall escape from his hand: Edom, Moab, and the prominent people of Ammon. 42 He shall stretch out his hand against the countries, and the land of Egypt shall not escape. 43 He shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt; also the Libyans and Ethiopians shall follow at his heels. (Daniel 11:40-43)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Notice that the \u2018great prince of the North\u2019 is expected to subdue an Islamic Empire. Notice that the Bible teaches that the \u2018king of the North<\/a>\u2018 will go into the Middle East and North Africa and eliminate the leader called the \u2018king of the South<\/a>.\u2019 The lands of the \u2018king of the South\u2019 are currently Islamic. Perhaps it should be mentioned that Syria is expected to support the confederation of the king of the South (see also Ezekiel 30:2-8), though the time will come that its capital will be destroyed (Isaiah 17:1).<\/p>\n

Nations in Europe will decide that they must take more steps against the growing number of Islamic immigrants (see also War is Coming Between Europeans and Arabs<\/a>).<\/p>\n

The destruction of a coming Islamic confederation (see The Prophesied \u2018Islamic\u2019 Confederation<\/a> ) will be part of the result of what is happening in the Middle East and in the West.<\/p>\n

Although we need to rely on the Bible, and not \u2018private Catholic prophecies,\u2019 notice the way some of them mirror the Bible. This should give us pause to consider that some who claim Catholicism will point to them as part of their justification for actions they may take in the future.<\/p>\n

As I have been saying for a long time, it may well be that migrant issues will be one of the triggers to get Europe to ultimately reorganize as the Bible teaches it will in Revelation 17:12-13, Daniel 11:21-38, Daniel 2:41-43, and other passages.<\/p>\n

As I have written for years, Islamic migrants in Europe are an issue that more in Europe will decide to address. And we are seeing more of this.<\/p>\n

The actual war prophesied in the Bible between Europe and the Arabs, will not come until more than 3 1\/2 years after a \u2018peace deal\u2019 has been confirmed by a \u2018prince\u2019 (Daniel 9:26-27) who later will become the final King of the North (Daniel 11:31-44). This leader will be European, and will eventually destroy the nation with the strongest fortresses (Daniel 11:39), which in the 21st century would be the USA. He will proclaim peace and safety:<\/p>\n

25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many<\/strong>: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand. (Daniel 8:25, KJV).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This leader will encourage proclamations of peace, yet sudden destruction will come (cf. 1 Thessalonians 5:3). After destroying the USA, etc. (Daniel 11:39; see also USA in Prophecy: The Strongest Fortresses<\/a>), he will turn against a power in the Middle East and North Africa (Daniel 11:40-43).<\/p>\n

More in Europe are realizing that certain Islamic leaders and refugees present threats.<\/p>\n

The migrant situation is setting Europe up for civil unrest. Ultimately, war will come between the Europeans and the Arabs.<\/p>\n
