Iranian President Ahmadinejad upset the American President Obama this week with comments about 9\/11:<\/p>\n

President Barack Obama called Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad\u2019s remarks at the United Nations yesterday \u201coffensive\u201d and \u201chateful.\u201d (http:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/2010-09-24\/obama-calls-ahmadinejad-s-united-nations-remarks-offensive-hateful-.html)<\/p>\n

President Obama said remarks made by Iran\u2019s president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, suggesting that the American government was responsible for the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, were \u201cinexcusable.\u201d (http:\/\/thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com\/2010\/09\/24\/obama-ahmadinejads-911-comments-inexcusable\/)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

But the comments from Mahmoud Ahmadinejad are not a surprise.\u00a0 The President of Iran does not wish to promote peace, as that is not his agenda.\u00a0 Notice, for example, what he said last week:<\/p>\n

Iran’s president said Saturday that Middle Eastern countries will “disrupt” U.S. and Israeli plans for the region, appearing to dismiss U.S. efforts to forge a regional peace deal between Israel and its Palestinian neighbors. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad made the comments during a brief stop in Syria…<\/p>\n

The meeting came two days after Assad sat down in Damascus with the Obama administration’s special Middle East envoy, George J. Mitchell, to discuss starting separate Syria-Israel peace talks. The reality is that the President of Iran believes that it is his special calling to create enough chaos in order to stimulate the arrival of an Islamic leader, known as the Imam Mahdi.\u00a0 This leader is supposed to unite Islam and root out problems within its religion.<\/p>\n

And because of this, the President of Iran has no real interest in peace–only in delays to allow various Islamic nations to have enough arms to deal militarily with the non-Islamic nations.\u00a0 Especially the Western nations (specifically Europe).<\/p>\n

For various reasons, the Imam Mahdi sounds a lot like the final King of the South that the Bible foretells (Daniel 11:40-43).\u00a0 And he may be part of a deal that will affect the USA and its Anglo-allies (Psalm 83).\u00a0 And this will not be good.<\/p>\n
