The European Commission has thrown its weight behind the introduction of a financial activities tax in Europe, which would tax profits and remuneration at banks and other financial services companies, as it considers ways to raise money from the financial sector. I have felt since prior to his taking up of his office on December 1, 2010, that Herman Van Rompuy could be the one to be the potentially prophesied “raiser of taxes” for the Europeans, prior to the rise of the final King of the North (see Herman Van Rompuy May Fulfill Daniel 11:20, But Did PCG\u2019s Gerald Flurry Predict It?<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Now, this one particular tax is probably not enough to fulfill the prophecy.\u00a0 But if Herman Van Rompuy is involved in raising others and dies shortly thereafter, he is a candidate for this role.<\/p>\n

Time may be getting short.\u00a0 And if various taxes are raised for the European Union, this may signal how close we may be to the rising up of the final King of the North, and also the Antichrist<\/a>.<\/p>\n
