Steve Bannon is on the warpath \u2014 in Europe. US president Donald Trump\u2019s former chief strategist is a hard-right advocate of a hard Brexit. Now his ambitions extend further. He wants to dismantle, destroy and bury the EU. Mr Bannon, 64, co-founder of the alt-right website Breitbart News, is setting up a Brussels-based political vehicle called The Movement. Its purpose is to rally assorted rightwing populist and far-right nationalist parties in the campaign for next year\u2019s European Parliament elections, to be held on May 23-26. Raheem Kassam, a former aide to Nigel Farage, the ex-leader of the UK Independence party, which claims credit for Britain\u2019s vote to leave the EU, explains Mr Bannon\u2019s initiative: \u201cThe Movement will be our clearing house for the populist, nationalist movement in Europe\u2009.\u2009.\u2009.\u2009We decided to headquarter out of Brussels because it is the heart of the European Union \u2014 the most pernicious force against nation-state democracy in the West today.\u201d …<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Mr Bannon\u2019s political vocabulary rattles with military imagery. … \u201cYou\u2019re going to have to fight to take your country back, every day \u2014 whether it\u2019s Italy, France, England or the United States,\u201d he says. The Bannon offensive will confirm European leaders\u2019 suspicions that influential elements of the US and British right, both traditional conservatives and extremists, would dearly like to weaken or bring down the EU. Steve Bannon Sets Sights On Europe With Planned New Political Project<\/h2>\n

Steve Bannon built his career on right-wing politics inside the United States but now he’s taking on a new frontier: the European Parliament.<\/p>\n

Bannon described his plan to create a right-leaning foundation called “The Movement” to The Daily Beast<\/a>. He plans to establish its headquarters in Brussels.<\/p>\n

The Movement, according to Bannon’s account, is envisioned as a non-profit organization that will serve as the right’s equivalent of George Soros’ Open Society<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Bannon’s goal is to create a hub where the populist right can receive help with polling, research, voter targeting, policy proposals, and field operations among other efforts to help unite European populist groups.<\/p>\n

“Bannon is a malignant far-right rabble-rouser.<\/p>\n

In his case I agree, just this once, with the no immigration mob!<\/p>\n

Keep him out of Europe.<\/p>\n

He is a creature of Trump’s America!<\/p>\n

Steve Bannon attacking the EU from the right<\/h2>\n

Steve Bannon, former chief strategist of US President Donald Trump, wants to shape elections in the European Union. The right-wing ideologue is dangerous, writes DW’s Bernd Riegert.<\/strong> …<\/p>\n

“The Movement” \u2014 that is the name of the radical right-wing operations center American nationalist Steve Bannon wants to plant in the heart of Europe<\/a>, in Brussels. “The Movement” of all things! This cannot be a coincidence for the cunning chief strategist of anti-liberalism. Alarm bells should ring for Germans in particular, but for all other European citizens as well.<\/p>\n

Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini called their fascist organizations “movements,” after\u00a0peoples’ movements in Germany, Austria and Hungary in the second half of the 19th century. Hitler’s “movement” brought misery, suffering and death to millions. …<\/p>\n

Bannon, for his part, has spun a dense network in Europe. He met and charmed the leaders of the right-wing scene \u2014 from Alice Weidel, co-leader of the AfD<\/a>, to Marine Le Pen, right-wing figurehead in France, and the right-wing radical interior minister of Italy, Matteo Salvini. …<\/p>\n

But Bannon wants more. He clearly pictures a dissolution of the EU and an end to liberal democracy in Europe.<\/p>\n

Targeting the Brussels establishment<\/strong><\/p>\n

Right-wing nationalists at the European level have been quite uncoordinated up to now. Bannon could change this with modern campaign logistics, social media, voter profiling with skimmed data and other tricks from the US election. He could actually set something like a European right-wing nationalist “movement” in motion, building on electoral successes in Italy, Austria and Germany.<\/p>\n

The established conservatives, socialists and liberals who have so far set the tone in the EU must defend themselves and develop concepts for a “counter-movement.” 07\/24\/18 https:\/\/www.dw.com\/en\/opinion-steve-bannon-attacking-the-eu-from-the-right\/a-44808912<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So, various ones believe that the EU is “under siege from English-speaking rightists,” Brexiters, Donald Trump, Steve Bannon, and others. They are concerned that English-speakers are threatening the very existence of the European Union. They are also comparing Steve Bannon’s movement to Adolf Hitler’s. Steve Bannon reportedly plans to spend about 50% of his time in Europe, mainly traveling around to promote the Movement.<\/p>\n

The EU does not like what Steve Bannon is doing.<\/p>\n

Nor do I believe that Steve Bannon will be pleased with what Europe will become.<\/p>\n

The Bible clearly shows that Europe will become a warring power (Daniel 11:39-44), led by someone even worse than Adolf Hitler (cf. Daniel 11:29-38). It also shows that the success of the European Beast<\/a>, King of the North<\/a>, power will cause the world to marvel as well as defeat the strongest military power:<\/p>\n

3 And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. 4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, \u201cWho is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?\u201d (Revelation 13:3-4)<\/p>\n

39<\/span> Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain. (Daniel 11:39)<\/span><\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The Beast of Revelation 13 and the \u201che\u201d of Daniel 11:39 is a European<\/a> leader, also called the King of the North<\/a> in Daniel 11:40. Notice that Daniel 11:39 states that the strongest military power\u2013which currently is the USA (and to a lessor degree, its Anglo-Saxon descended allies)\u2013will be taken over.<\/p>\n

The Europeans are mad at the USA for many reasons (including its President Trump), the UK for the Brexit vote, and will decide that places like Canada are too connected to them to remain. Steve Bannon’s direct efforts to undermine the European Union are also not pleasing to the EU leadership.<\/p>\n

The USA and its Anglo-Saxon descended allies will be defeated (Daniel 8:24-25; Isaiah 17:3; Jeremiah 30:7).<\/p>\n

Did you know that Roman and Eastern Orthodox Catholic prophecies also tell of a time when a European leader will defeat the English-speakers?<\/p>\n

Well, while the Bible warns against the coming European<\/a> King of the North<\/a> Beast power, many Catholic prophecies look forward to this leader, under the name of The Great Monarch<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Here are some more Catholic prophecies<\/a> related to this Great Monarch<\/a><\/span> and the ‘English’:<\/p>\n

Werdin d’ Otrante (<\/em>13th century): “The Great Monarch and the Great Pope will precede Antichrist…All the sects will vanish. The capital of the world will fall<\/strong>…The Great Monarch will come and restore peace and the Pope will share in the victory.” (Connor, Edward. Prophecy for Today. Imprimatur + A.J. Willinger, Bishop of Monterey-Fresno; Reprint: Tan Books and Publishers, Rockford (IL), 1984, p. 33).<\/p>\n

Saint Cataldus of Tarentino <\/em> (c. 500): “The Great Monarch<\/strong> will be in war till he is forty years of age …. he will assemble great armies and expel tyrants from his empire. He will conquer England<\/strong> and other island empires” (Connor, p.30).<\/p>\n

St. Columbine<\/em> (d. 597): The enemies of the English shall be aroused in battle–they who reside in the eastern and western parts of the world … the English shall be defeated … After the English shall be defeated in this battle, they shall be harassed by every quarter<\/strong>; like a fawn surrounded by a pack of voracious hounds, shall be the position of the English amidst their enemies. The English afterwards shall dwindle down to a disreputable people (Culleton, R. Gerald.\u00a0 The Prophets and Our Times. Nihil Obstat: L. Arvin.\u00a0 Imprimatur: Philip G. Scher, Bishop of Monterey-Fresno, November 15, 1941.\u00a0 Reprint 1974, TAN Books, Rockford (IL), pp. 131,132).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Note: it is possible that the “capital of the world” above being referred to is Washington D.C. or the United States of America. Also note that England was not known by that name in the 500s, hence the prophecy that mentions it would have used a different term in its original language that the Catholic translator apparently has concluded is modern England or those who are\/speak English.<\/p>\n

Notice this prediction:<\/p>\n

\n

St. Senanus<\/em> (d. 560): They (English) themselves will betray each other: in consequence their sovereignty will be broken … One monarch will rule in Ireland over the English (Culleton, p. 128).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Now, consider the following from the Bible:<\/p>\n

21 Manasseh shall devour Ephraim, and Ephraim Manasseh;
\nTogether they shall be against Judah.<\/p>\n

For all this His anger is not turned away,
\nBut His hand is stretched out still. (Isaiah 9:21)<\/p>\n

13 Also the envy of Ephraim shall depart,
\nAnd the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off;
\nEphraim shall not envy Judah,
\nAnd Judah shall not harass Ephraim. (Isaiah 11:13)<\/p>\n

6 … Ephraim shall receive shame,
\nAnd Israel shall be ashamed of his own counsel.<\/p>\n

7 As for Samaria, her king is cut off
\nLike a twig on the water. (Hosea 10:6-7)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

So, a betrayal of Ephraim and Manasseh\/Samaria, English-speaking nations in the 21st century, is in Bible prophecy. Many in Judah (the modern nation of Israel) also speak English. Continuing with a Catholic anti-English prophecy:<\/p>\n

Mother Shipton<\/em> (d. 1551) \u201cThe time will come when England shall tremble and quake \u2026 London shall be destroyed forever after<\/strong> . . . and then York shall be London and the Kingdom governed by three Lords appointed by a Royal Great monarch <\/strong>\u2026 who will set England right and drive out heresy (Culleton, p. 163).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Here are others (the first of which is timing related):<\/p>\n

Telesphorus of Cozensa<\/em> (16th century). “A powerful French Monarch and French Pope will regain the Holy Land after terrible wars in Europe. They will convert the world and bring universal peace …” (Dupont, p. 31).<\/p>\n

Priest Nectou<\/em> (d. 1772): … when England shall begin to wane in power, the destruction of Paris shall be at hand. This shall be a sign. England shall, in her turn, suffer a more frightful revolution than that of France (Culleton, p. 176).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Various Catholic prophecies suggest problems for France\/Paris before the Great Monarch gains power. The Bible does not make a clear statement on that–but it may happen (see also The ‘Lost Tribe’ of Reuben: France in Prophecy?<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Notice also:<\/p>\n

Father Laurence Ricci, S.J. (died 1775): “After the rule of Napoleon a time will come when the people will become poor and the world will be punished in three ways: wars, famines, and pestilences. At a time when the whole world seems doomed, God will intervene. With His aide a valiant duke will arise from the ancient German house which was humiliated by the French monarch. This great ruler will restore stolen Church property. Protestantism will cease and the Turkish empire will end<\/strong>. This duke will be the most powerful monarch on earth. At a gathering of men noted for piety and wisdom he will, with the aid of the Pope, introduce new rules, and ban the spirit of confusion. Everywhere there will be one fold and one shepherd.” (Conner p.37)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The USA and the UK have long been considered the bastions of Protestantism.<\/p>\n

The EU is not going to forget Brexit or Donald Trump, nor is it likely to forget and forgive the USA for what Steve Bannon is trying to do.<\/p>\n

Despite having problems of unity (Daniel 2:41-43), the Europeans will one day reorganize and follow a leader that the Bible also calls the Beast (Revelation 17:12-13).<\/p>\n

Steve Bannon, Donald Trump, Brexiters, and other English-speakers will not stop that. And this will not end well for the USA, UK, and their other Anglo-Saxon descended allies.<\/p>\n
