This leader seems to resemble the biblical King of the South.\u00a0 And before the armies gather at Armageddon, the King of the South not only has to rise up (Daniel 11:27-40), he also has to be defeated (Daniel 11:40-43).<\/span><\/div>\n
And while the Bible does not require that Iran has nuclear weapons, it may be that its attempts to gain them will result in enough conflict to trigger the rise of a biblical leader that needs to rise up before the “Armageddon” prophecy (Revelation 16:16) can be fulfilled.
