The Vatican has released what is being referred to as a ‘Chrislam’ symbol related to an upcoming interfaith gathering in Morocco:<\/p>\n

The official logo of the Pope\u2019s visit was chosen from about 50 entries in a competition. An explanatory note accompanying the logo\u2019s release says that a cross and a crescent in the logo are symbols of Christianity and Islam which highlight the inter-religious relations between Christians and Muslims.<\/p>\n

In fact, during the 2-day trip, Pope Francis will meet the leader of Moroccan Muslims, 800 years after the meeting between St. Francis of Assisi and Sultan Al-Malik al-K\u0101mil of Egypt.<\/p>\n

The logo has the colours of the two countries: green and red for Morocco, yellow and white (background) for the Vatican.<\/p>\n

Under Pope Francis\u2019 name is the motto of the visit: \u201cServant of Hope\u201d because the Pope is known as the Servant of the Servants of God. … Pope Francis said that his visit to the 2 predominantly Muslim countries, \u201crepresent two important opportunities to advance interreligious dialogue and mutual understanding between the followers of both religions, in this year that marks the eight-hundredth anniversary of the historic meeting between Saint Francis of Assisi and Sultan al-Malik al-K\u0101mil.\u201d https:\/\/feliciancjpo.wordpress.com\/2019\/01\/10\/pope-francis-servant-of-hope\/<\/a><\/p>\n

Catholics have gotten mad<\/strong> at me over the years whenever I talk about how the Vatican is pushing the hybrid bastard religion of Chrislam<\/a><\/strong>, which is to say the merging of apostate Christianity with the religion of castaway Ishmael, who is the father is Islam. Yet just this week, the Vatican rolled out a new logo for Pope Francis\u2019 upcoming visit to the Muslim nation of Morocco, and what is the design? Chrislam.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:\u00a0With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.\u201d Revelation 17:1,2 (KJV)<\/strong><\/p>\n

The pope\u2019s new logo<\/strong> shows a New Age style cross that is encircled about with the crescent moon of Islam, with the colors of yellow and white for the Vatican, and red and green for Islam. While it is not likely that this Chrislam cross symbol is the Mark of the Beast<\/a>, its use of the type of cross (reminiscent of Emperor Constantine’s vision) and crescent is intriguing (see also What is the Origin of the Cross as a ‘Christian’ Symbol?<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Anyway, the Vatican’s moves towards a one world religion continue.<\/p>\n

A week ago, Pope Francis and leading Sunni Imam Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb signed what some have called a step towards a one world religion.<\/p>\n

On February 4, 2019, at the ‘ Global Conference on Human Fraternity,’ Pope Francis and leading Sunni Imam Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb signed a document that some suspect may lead towards a “one world religion.” The World Council of Churches (WCC) General Secretary, Dr Olav Fykse Tveit, who also attended, pushed for religious leaders and institutions to push towards a particular cooperative agenda to help bring world peace. Will there be real peace or just a temporary one? Will destruction come to the USA and nations in the Middle East and North Africa? What will be some characteristics of this “one world religion’? Will all have the same religious practices? Might it have commonalities with the ancient Roman Empire? The Grand Mosque in the UAE was renamed “Mary, Mother of Jesus.” “Will Catholic, Islamic, and even Hindu reverence for Marian figures play a role? Is that part of the plan? Should real Christians support the interfaith and ecumenical agendas or remain separate from them? What does the Bible teach? What did Jesus teach? Dr. Thiel addresses these issues and more.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

As part of all of this, the The Grand Mosque in the United Arab Emirates was renamed “Mary, Mother of Jesus.”<\/p>\n

Of course, it is not just the Vatican and some Muslims who are involved.<\/p>\n

The World Council of Churches (WCC), United Nations, and various others are involved in this as well (see Pope and Muslim leader sign interfaith agreement towards a one world religion: Will this lead to both peace and the Great Tribulation?<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Notice also the following:<\/p>\n

Just days after the Pope signed the most important interfaith document in history<\/a>, he had the opportunity to address global political leaders by video at the World Government Summit in Dubai.\u00a0 During his remarks he once again stressed the need for global unity, and he encouraged those attending to embrace \u201csustainable development\u201d, but he also stressed that sustainable development will never succeed without \u201csolidarity\u201d.\u00a0 Of course most Americans don\u2019t even know that a \u201cWorld Government Summit\u201d even exists because the mainstream media in the U.S. doesn\u2019t really talk about it, but it is actually a very big deal. …<\/p>\n

The phrase \u201csustainable development\u201d has become a shorthand way of referring to the UN\u2019s Sustainable Development Goals.\u00a0 It is a 17 point plan<\/a>, and if you read the entire thing<\/a> you quickly realize that it encompasses just about every realm of human activity that you can possibly imagine. 02\/10\/19 http:\/\/endoftheamericandream.com\/archives\/the-pope-encourages-those-attending-the-world-government-summit-to-enthusiastically-embrace-sustainable-development<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This agenda is supposed to be fully implemented by 2030 and is also called the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development<\/em>. It aims to solve ailments facing humanity through regulation, education, and international and interfaith cooperation.While many of its objectives are good, some of its methods and goals are evil (cf. Genesis 3:5). This agenda is also consistent with Pope Francis\u2019 Laudato Si<\/a> encyclical. The \u201cNew Universal Agenda\u201d could be called the \u201cNew Catholic Agenda\u201d as the word \u201ccatholic\u201d means \u201cuniversal.\u201d Pope Francis called the adoption of the New Universal Agenda <\/em>\u201can important sign of hope.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Vatican continues to push for something like a one world religion and a one world government. That 17 point plan is not the answer, and it is shown and discussed, along with the real answer, in our free online booklet: The Gospel of the Kingdom of God<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Getting back to “Chrislam and Mary,” what about the use of \u2018Mary\u2019 and Islam and the interfaith movement?<\/p>\n

Here are some details from my book Fatima Shock!<\/em><\/a><\/span>:<\/p>\n

Islam, the Lady of Fatima, and Mary in the Qur\u2019an<\/strong><\/p>\n

Interestingly, Archbishop Fulton Sheen wrote:<\/p>\n

It is our firm belief that\u2026Islam\u2026will be converted to Christianity\u2026It is our belief that this will not happen through direct teaching of Christianity, but through a summoning of the Muslims to a veneration of the Mother of God.582<\/p>\n

He also wrote he believed that the apparition:<\/p>\n

\u2026chose to be known as \u201cOur Lady of Fatima\u201d as a pledge and sign of hope for the Muslim people\u2026 so that they one day would accept\u2026583<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Thus, Archbishop Sheen essentially thought that the appearance in Fatima was to also ultimately result in Muslims (and possibly Hindus) accepting his faith. Notice that he also wrote:<\/p>\n

Our missionaries report the most extraordinary reaction of these peoples as the Pilgrim statue of Our Lady of Fatima was carried through the East. At the edge of Nepal, three hundred Catholics were joined by three thousand Hindus and Moslems, as four elephants carried the statue to the little church for Rosary and Benediction\u2026The final evidence of the relationship of the village of Fatima <\/em>to the Moslems <\/em>is the enthusiastic reception that the Moslems in Africa <\/em>and India and elsewhere gave to the pilgrim statue of Our Lady of Fatima\u2026 in Mozambique the Moslems, who were unconverted, became Christians as soon as the statue of Our Lady of Fatima was erected\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n

Missionaries in the future will, more and more, see that their apostolate among the Moslems will be successful in the measure they preach Our Lady of Fatima.584<\/p>\n

On\u00a0December 27, 1983, Ali A\u011fca referred to Muhammad\u2019s daughter as the goddess of the Fatima apparitions. 585<\/p>\n

It seems that apparitions could be a factor in temporarily getting Muslims to consider that there is more to Catholicism than most of them have thought. \u00a0Archbishop Sheen felt that a Marian \u201cmiracle\u201d would be a factor in Muslims and others together and become end time Catholics in the Day of Wrath (Dies Irae<\/em>):<\/p>\n

And as Mary revealed herself in that first Miracle of the Sun, so may we look forward to another revelation of her power when the world has its next rehearsal for the Dies Irae<\/em>.586<\/p>\n

Also notice something from Vatican II:<\/p>\n

Moslems\u2026They also honor Mary, His virgin Mother; at times they even call on her with devotion.587<\/p>\n

Chapter 19 of the Qur\u2019an\/Koran\/Quran is, from an Islamic perspective, devoted to Mary and Jesus (\u201cMary\u201d is also spelled Maryam, Marium, or Miriam in Arabic translations into English). Here are a few passages from it:<\/p>\n

019.020\u00a0 Y: She said: \u201cHow shall I have a son, seeing that no man has touched me, and I am not unchaste?\u201d\u2026<\/p>\n

019.027\u2026S: And she came to her people with him, carrying him (with her). They said: O Marium! Surely you have done a strange thing.<\/p>\n

019.028 Y: \u201cO sister of Aaron! Thy father was not a man of evil, nor thy mother a woman unchaste!\u201d588<\/p>\n

066.012 Y: And Mary the daughter of \u2018Imran, who guarded her chastity; and We breathed into (her body) of Our spirit; and she testified to the truth of the words of her Lord and of His Revelations, and was one of the devout (servants).589<\/p>\n

While the above supports the virgin birth of Jesus, some also seem to believe that the Qur\u2019an is supportive of teaching the \u201cimmaculate\u201d conception of Mary in Islam.590<\/p>\n

So, there are Islamic ties to Mary that resemble those in post-sixth century Catholicism.<\/p>\n

Marian Interest and Her Claimed Final House in Turkey<\/strong><\/p>\n

A house where Mary may have lived out her last days is in Turkey. \u00a0My wife Joyce and I have visited it. \u00a0It is on the outskirts of ancient Ephesus.<\/p>\n

There is an annual celebration for Mary, in the area near Ephesus, which Islamic Turks put on and participate in. \u00a0Because of Islamic fascination with Mary, it is possible that an apparition claiming to be Mary might appear in Turkey and\/or elsewhere. This may partially persuade some Muslims to temporarily consider that somehow God might be working through a Western religious leader. This will not last for all (Daniel 11:27; 40), but it seems to have been part of Catholic prophecy:<\/p>\n

Blessed Maria of Agreda <\/em>(died 1665): The power of Mary in the latter days will be very conspicuous. Mary will extend the reign of Christ over the heathens and the Mohammedans\u2026591<\/p>\n

Perhaps it should be mentioned that there are certain Catholic prophecies that suggest many Muslims in Turkey will somewhat accept the Catholic faith. Here is one:<\/p>\n

Brother Louis Rocco <\/em>(19th century): Terrible wars will rage all over Europe\u2026Great cities and small towns alike will be destroyed in a bloody revolution\u2026In Istanbul (Constantinople) the Cross will replace the half-moon of Islamism, and Jerusalem will be the seat of a King. The southern Slavs will form a great Catholic Empire and drive out of Europe the Turks (Mohammedans), who will withdraw to North Africa and subsequently embrace the Catholic faith.592<\/p>\n

Many people of all persuasions, including apparently atheists, are going to fall away from their current beliefs in vast numbers (even according to many Catholic leaders) to embrace one who will promote a powerful ecumenical religion that is to be accompanied by what will appear to be real miracles.<\/p>\n

Perhaps more shocking is that there is a 17th century Islamic prophecy from a Dervish (Dervishes are mainly based in Turkey) that suggests that because many are not good Muslims, they will accept a faith that claims Christ after seeing something that resembles a female apparition, that \u00a0some \u00a0suspect \u00a0will \u00a0be \u00a0considered \u00a0to \u00a0be \u00a0\u201cMary.\u201d593<\/p>\n

Hence, at least one Islamic prophecy seems to support the view that many Muslims (especially in Turkey) may accept the coming ecumenical religion promoted by a \u201cMarian\u201d apparition. \u2026<\/p>\n

In the 21st century, Giuseppe De Carli wrote the following related to Islam and Fatima:<\/p>\n

The Shiites believe that the Fatima shrine belongs, by right, to Muslims, and that Catholics have stolen it from their rightful owners. They argue that if a Lady dressed in shining white appeared there, then it\u2019s because she had a message for the Muslims, not for Christians<\/strong>. Ali A\u011fca, in his megalomania thought he had a mission from God. Apparently, when John Paul II visited him at the Rebibbia prison in 1983, he asked the pontiff, \u201cSo who is Fatima for you?\u201d Twice now I have done on-the-scene reporting from Fatima and I have spotted Arabs who seemed to want to remain incognito\u2026Fatima has a religious and political significance.594<\/p>\n

So, some Muslims, at least, believe that the messages for Fatima were apparently different than those publicly revealed, that Fatima is for them, and any message for Fatima has to do with Islam.<\/p>\n

Notice also from Priest L.J. Cizik:<\/p>\n

It is a fact that Moslems from various nations, especially from the Middle East, make so many pilgrimages to Our Lady of Fatima\u2019s Shrine in Portugal that Portuguese officials have expressed concern. The combination of an Islamic name and Islamic devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary is a great attraction to Moslems.595<\/p>\n

It would not surprise me if one or more future Lady apparitions shows herself to Muslims and encourages them to support the ecumenical religion that the Europeans will themselves embrace in much greater numbers in very few years.<\/p>\n

Notice the following from the Encyclopedia of Islam<\/em>:<\/p>\n

Fatima is greatly revered by Muslims\u2026Moreover, she will be the first to enter PARADISE\u2026and like MARY in Catholic Christianity, she will intercede for those who honor her\u2026Indeed, in Shii literature, Fatima is compared to Mary the mother of JESUS because of the violent deaths suffered by each of their sons.596<\/p>\n

So, there are similarities (as well as differences) between Catholic and Islamic beliefs related to Mary and Fatima.<\/p>\n

A series of apparitions occurred at a Coptic Orthodox church in Zeitoun, Egypt, from 1968 to 1973 and:<\/p>\n

Moslems, Copts, Roman Catholics, Protestants, and others were overwhelmed by the Lady who seemed to be composed of light. Moslems chanted from the Koran: \u201cMary, God has chosen thee. And purified thee; He has chosen thee above all women.\u201d597<\/p>\n

So, some Muslims have already been impressed by apparitions of the Lady, and may once again. \u2026<\/p>\n

Based upon sacred scripture (Daniel 11:40), the religious fervor that is often present in the Islamic world, and the pagan \u00a0connection \u00a0to \u00a0female \u00a0apparitions, \u00a0I \u00a0suspect \u00a0that any close \u201csemi-ecumenical\u201d alliance with the majority of the Muslims will be very short-lived. \u00a0The Bible tells of a time when the final \u201cKing of the South\u201d (a Caliphate-type leader of a likely Islamic confederation, who some may consider to be the Imam Mahdi) will make a deal with the final European \u201cKing of the North\u201d (Daniel 11:27), but later attack the King of the North (Daniel 11:40).\u00a0 \u00a0Some countries, like Turkey (ancient Edom) will apparently end up supporting the Europeans (Daniel 11:25-26, 41).<\/p>\n

Regarding Fatima, I am more of the opinion that since some Muslims somewhat venerate Muhammed\u2019s daughter Fatima, the Hindus have various female deities, the Chinese have had female apparitions, Japan and other lands have had apparitions, many Protestants are getting closer to Rome, many people believe in goddesses, most Buddhist\u2019s tend to support a more ecumenical view of religion, etc. that Marian apparitions may be used to help many groups get together (at least temporarily).<\/p>\n

Scholars have stated the Mary is the only woman mentioned by name in the Qu’ran.<\/p>\n

Perhaps it should be mentioned, that just one \u2018Marian apparition\u2019 (The \u2018Lady\u2019 of Guadalupe<\/a> ) has been claimed to have been effective in turning Latin America predominantly Roman Catholic\u2013this profoundly affected those cultures and the world.<\/p>\n

What will happen if some type of \u2018Marian apparition\u2019 is seen and even shown on media like television and\/or the internet? Might Islam temporarily respond?<\/p>\n

Since the Bible teaches that the whole world will worship the Beast (Revelation 13:8), but that the King of the South will turn against the Beast (Daniel 11:40-43), this shows that Muslims will, temporarily, support the Beast (cf. Psalm 83:4-8).<\/p>\n

Since Islam does acknowledge Jesus\u2019 mother Mary and Catholics have tried to use \u2018Mary\u2019 as an ecumenical and interfaith tool, a false version of \u2018Mary\u2019 will likely be part of the reason for this temporary worship of the Beast. It is my opinion that building a cathedral for \u2018Mary\u2019 in an Islamic land is consistent with this.<\/p>\n

Islam will temporarily support the coming Beast and Marianism will likely be a factor for this temporary support.<\/p>\n

From the time of the apparitions of the Blessed Mother at Fatima, Portugal, many have wondered about the possible significance of Our Lady choosing a location with such an apparent connection to Islam.<\/p>\n

As a matter of historical importance, Fatima was the favorite daughter of Muhammad \u00e2\u20ac\u201d a woman considered of the highest dignity in Islam, save for only one person: the Virgin Mary. Indeed, after Fatima\u2019s death at around the age of 26, her father wrote to his dead daughter: \u201cThou shalt be the most blessed of women in Paradise after Mary.\u201d<\/p>\n

Is there a relationship between the appearance of Our Lady and the Muslim world? Surely, it was not a random choice by the Blessed Mother, and so how should we approach the possible message it sends to the world at this historical moment?<\/p>\n

It is a surprise to many that Islam traditionally has thought so highly of the Blessed Virgin Mary. She is called by Muslims Miriam or Maryam in Arabic, and also Umm Isa, or \u201cMary, the mother of Jesus,\u201d or simply, Sayyida<\/em>, the Lady.<\/p>\n

Mary is the only woman named in the Quran, and she is revered as a righteous woman in her own right and as the most pious, chaste and virtuous woman in history. …<\/p>\n

Since many in Islam have a special reverence for Mary, I suspect that if one or more apparitions claiming (or presumed) to be Mary show up in Islamic lands, that many there will be temporarily persuaded to support the Beast power (the Catholic prophesied \u201cGreat Monarch\u201d)\u2013especially if Muslims can be temporarily persuaded to accept a cross symbol (which would otherwise be quite difficult for them to do).<\/p>\n

Apparently, others have felt the same way.<\/p>\n

The following was written over two decades ago by a member of the Orthodox Church<\/a> and is warning people that false apparitions claiming to be Mary will lead to people to accept Antichrist<\/a>:<\/p>\n

\u201cMother goddesses\u201d known in the ancient world were not just confined to the Near East and Mediterranean but are universal. The Kogi Indians, among whom we lived in Columbia, worship a spirit called Nabuba, the \u201cAncient Mother.\u201d When Roman Catholics missionaries attempted to evangelize the Kogi int he last century, they used a not-uncommon strategy for drawing pagan peoples into Rome\u2019s fold: rather than explaining the differences between the pagan mysthology and Christian truth, they found \u201cequivalences,\u201d Christ, under this syncretistic view, corresponds to the Kogi Sejukukui (a trickster god who faked his own death by hiding in a cave), while Nabuba is said to be the Virgin Mary. This confusion has led the Kogis to call their pagan temples \u201ccansamaria,\u201d a corruption of \u201ccasa de Maria\u201d (house of Mary).<\/p>\n

Given these Roman Catholic \u201cevangelistic methods\u201d of more than a century ago, it is it any wonder that contemporary \u201capparitions\u201d of Mary are invariably accompanied by ecumenistic messages promoting the idea that all religions are equally valid and Orthodox Christianity is but one \u201cpath\u201d among many? A recent issue of Orthodox Tradition<\/em> (1966) contains the account of Matushka (wife of a Russian Orthodox priest) Katherine Swanson\u2019s trip to Medjugorje, Croatia, to investigate the most famous of the recent cases of apparitions of Mary in the Roman Catholic world. In it she recounts a telling episode:<\/p>\n

Our guide took our group for an audience with the \u201cseers.\u201d During this audience, a pilgrim asked one of the children the following questions: \u201cDoes the Virgin say that the Catholic Church is the true church?\u201d The response given by the child provides clear evidence of the ecumenical content and religious relativism which, oddly enough, increasingly mark the \u201crevelations\u201d at Medjugorje: \u201cOur Blessed Mother says that all religions are equally pleasing to God.<\/em>\u201c<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Life <\/em>magazine article, then, is yet another contribution to this line of thought. Given the idea that all paths are equally valid, then all \u201cMarys\u201d are equally valid, too. The author describes several of the Marys of our times: Miearculous Mary (such as at Medjugorje), Mediator Mary (Who, as the author quotes Fr. Andrew Greeley saying, lets people into Heaven through the \u201cback door\u201d), (Editors notes: the Orthodox Church of course never taught about the \u201cback door\u201d, and of course one only prays that this is a matter of a figure of speech, but let us not dwell on the \u201cback door\u201d, but the gates of Paradise, the Kingdom of our God<\/em>). Mediator Mary of the feminists, and Mother Mary. This last one, Mother Mary, is the role which the author considers the most appealing to non-Catholics: \u201cThe emotional need for her is so irresistible to a troubled world that people without an obvious link to the Virgin are being drawn to her. It is known that Muslins revere Mary as a pure and holy saint\u2026Interdenominational Marian prayer groups are springing up throughout the world. Many Protestants, even some who still reject notions of a supernatural Virgin, miss Mary.\u201d<\/p>\n

To which Mary are Muslims and Protestants being drawn? The Protestant Reformation rejected the distorted view of Mary which had developed in the West since the Schism of 1054, and which would ultimately result in the Roman Church\u2019s proclamation of their dogma of the Immaculate Conception. But Protestantism did not just reject the Western view of Mary; it ignored Her altogether, in effect denying Her role in the Incarnation and, consequently, the part She plays in our salvation. As Rome began to see her more and more as a \u201cgoddess,\u201d a fourth Hypostasis of the Trinity, as it were, the Protestants reacted by down playing Her position and refusing to honor Her at all, this in spite of the Gospel words:\u201cAll Generations Shall Call Me Blessed.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Today, as heterodox Christians become more and more ecumenist and work toward creating a \u201cOne World Church,\u201d the search has begun for a Mary of universal recognition, one who will appeal not only to those who bear the name Christian, but apparently to Muslims and others as well, just as attempts are likewise being made to identify the \u201cnew Christ\u201d with the Muslim concept of their coming Mahdi and with the Messiah still awaited by the Jews. This, of course, will be no Christ at all but the antichrist<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

There is more danger in this interfaith movement than most realize.<\/p>\n

Long time readers of this COGwriter Church of God News page are aware that I have written for years that some type of temporary deal will be struck between an Arab leader with ties to Islam. For example, I wrote the following that was published in 2009:<\/p>\n

People often believe what they see through their own eyes. And different signs and wonders may affect various people. For example, while many of those in Islam are apparently going to be misled for a shorter time than almost any one else (as they are to be the first major power to turn on the Beast per Daniel 11:40-43), they too will, at least slightly, accept some agreement with the ecumenical movement (for a very short while). …<\/p>\n

Asians and some Muslims accept the ecumenical religion. Some will consider this as a time of peace. Heretics and opponents are rendered inconsequential. Revelation 13:3\u20138 Jeremiah 6:14\u201315a …<\/p>\n

As Islam is opposed to icons, and especially any type of cross as a symbol (the Crusaders invaded them centuries ago), Muslims will strongly question where all of this is leading. (Thiel B. 2012 and the Rise of the Secret Sect<\/a><\/span><\/span>. Nazarene Books, 2009)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

But as I also wrote, in 2009 and 2012, this will only be temporary:<\/p>\n

Based upon sacred scripture (Daniel 11:40), the religious fervor that is often present in the Islamic world, and the pagan connection to female apparitions, I suspect that any close \u201csemi-ecumenical\u201d alliance with the majority of the Muslims will be very short-lived. The Bible tells of a time when the final \u201cKing of the South\u201d (a Caliphate-type leader of a likely Islamic confederation, who some may consider to be the Imam Mahdi617) will make a deal with the final European \u201cKing of the North\u201d (Daniel 11:27), but later attack the King of the North (Daniel 11:40). Some countries, like Turkey (ancient Edom) will apparently end up supporting the Europeans (Daniel 11:25-26, 41). A great Islamic leader (the Mahdi) will push at the land of the crusaders. The distrust of the proclamations by the \u201ccrusaders,\u201d combined with the prevalence of crosses being displayed, may be part of what triggers the prophesied attack from the Islamic King of the South. … Increasing displays of crosses, combined with people following wonders (such as perhaps including apparitions claiming to be Mary), will get many in the Arab lands to remember the crusades. Enough will hold to some version of Islam that they will fear an attack must be made or Islam will be defeated. (Thiel B. 2012 and the Rise of the Secret Sect<\/a><\/span><\/span>. Most of the media do not understand that or where it will lead.<\/p>\n

Temporarily it will lead to a peace deal (Daniel 9:27) which will be broken (see also The \u2018Peace Deal\u2019 of Daniel 9:27<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Ultimately, it will lead to the destruction of the USA and then many Islamic nations (Daniel 11:39-42, NKJV).<\/p>\n

Consider also that the ecumenical and interfaith movements that the Vatican, certain Protestants, certain Muslims, and certain Eastern Orthodox leaders are promoting are clearly condemned by the Bible and should not be encouraged:<\/p>\n

3 \u2026 contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. (Jude 3)<\/p>\n

17 \u201cCome out from among them
\nAnd be separate, says the Lord.
\nDo not touch what is unclean,
\nAnd I will receive you.\u201d (2 Corinthians 6:17)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Early Christian leaders did NOT seek unity with those who were heretical or not Christians\u2013instead they denounced those views (see Continuing History of the Church of God<\/a>).<\/p>\n

The Apostle Paul<\/a> also taught that true unity of faith would not happen until after Jesus returns:<\/p>\n

13 until we all reach unity in faith and knowledge of the Son of God and form the perfect Man, fully mature with the fullness of Christ himself. (Ephesians 4:13, NJB)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Those who believe this unity comes prior to Jesus\u2019 return are in error. Actually, when Jesus returns, He will destroy the unity of nations that are against Him:<\/p>\n

11:15 Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and voices could be heard shouting in heaven, calling, \u2018The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever.\u2019 16 The twenty-four elders, enthroned in the presence of God, prostrated themselves and touched the ground with their foreheads worshipping God 17 with these words, \u2018We give thanks to you, Almighty Lord God, He who is, He who was, for assuming your great power and beginning your reign. 18 The nations were in uproar and now the time has come for your retribution, and for the dead to be judged, and for your servants the prophets, for the saints and for those who fear your name, small and great alike, to be rewarded. The time has come to destroy those who are destroying the earth.\u2019 (Revelation 11:15-18, NJB)<\/p>\n

19:6 And I heard what seemed to be the voices of a huge crowd, like the sound of the ocean or the great roar of thunder, answering, \u2018Alleluia! The reign of the Lord our God Almighty has begun;\u2026 19 Then I saw the beast, with all the kings of the earth and their armies, gathered together to fight the Rider and his army. 20 But the beast was taken prisoner, together with the false prophet who had worked miracles on the beast\u2019s behalf and by them had deceived those who had accepted branding with the mark of the beast and those who had worshipped his statue. These two were hurled alive into the fiery lake of burning sulphur. 21 All the rest were killed by the sword of the Rider, which came out of his mouth, and all the birds glutted themselves with their flesh\u2026 20:4 Then I saw thrones, where they took their seats, and on them was conferred the power to give judgement. I saw the souls of all who had been beheaded for having witnessed for Jesus and for having preached God\u2019s word, and those who refused to worship the beast or his statue and would not accept the brandmark on their foreheads or hands; they came to life, and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. (Revelation 19:6,19-21; 20:4, NJB)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Notice that Jesus will have to destroy a world of armies unified against Him. Then He and the saints will reign. That is when there will be proper unity of the faith. Even the NJB, a Roman Catholic translation of the Bible, concurs. The nations will be united AGAINST Jesus.<\/p>\n

Catholics, Orthodox, Protestants, Muslims, and others need to be concerned about the type of unity that is actually being promoted and what the ecumenical and interfaith agendas are really about.<\/a><\/p>\n

‘Chrislam’ will end in disaster.<\/p>\n
