As far as Germany’s AfD (which in English stands for “Alternative for Germany”) party goes, notice something from an earlier poll in Germany:<\/p>\n

As Statista’s Martin Armstrong shows <\/a>in the infographic below, AfD voters were primarily motivated by fears of terrorism, fears of crime and dissatisfaction with the influx of asylum seekers<\/strong> into Germany since the 2015 crisis.<\/p>\n

Perhaps key to understanding the lurch to the right<\/strong> is the indication that the majority of AfD voters say they made their decision not based on belief in the party, but rather as a reaction to their disappointment in the other parties.<\/em><\/strong> http:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/news\/2017-09-25\/why-germans-voted-far-right-afd<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

AfD is an anti-Islamic party. Its successes helped remind people of when Adolf Hitler’s party made significant gains in the German election. While 12.6% of the vote does not seem like much, consider that Adolf Hitler’s Nazi Party (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei<\/i>; NSDAP) rose from obscurity to win 18.3 per cent of the vote and 107 parliamentary seats in the 1930 election when Germany had major economic problems. The AfD won 94 parliamentary seats. Do not think a small showing means that a party or its ideas have little traction.<\/p>\n

The reasons that German voters gave suggest that many in Germany want a strong leader to stand up against crime, terrorism, and Islam.<\/p>\n

Such a leader will come and lead the final coming Babylonian power in Europe.<\/p>\n

The comment that AfD’s rise is a “reaction to their disappointment in the other parties<\/em><\/strong>” is consistent with such a view. And that is a major reason why the AfD and parties like ENF are gaining influence.<\/p>\n

The Bible shows that a militaristic leader called the Beast will arise and become militarily successful (Revelation 13:1-4). Germans will be comfortable, for a time again, with such a militarily successful leader.<\/p>\n

We in the CCOG have always expected a type of United States of Europe. Furthermore, when Europe was still recovering from being devastated in World War II, after attending a conference related to the start of the UN, in the December 1948 issue of The Plain Truth<\/em> Herbert W. Armstrong<\/a> predicted a coming “United States of Europe” when he wrote:<\/p>\n

It was the SERMON that shot forth that spark, impregnating the minds of world leaders in attendance. This amazing sermon was delivered by a foremost radio speaker of the Catholic Church, Bishop Duane G. Hunt of Salt Lake City … Without the guidance, supervision, authority of the Catholic Church, he told these men, they were laboring in vain …<\/p>\n

This was the Roman Catholic bid to resurrect the so-called \u201cHOLY ROMAN EMPIRE\u201d ! And PROPHECY says they will succeed! … At the psychological time, the pope will step in … Thru this political movement, he will UNIFY … nations in Europe. It will be a \u201cThe UNITED STATES OF EUROPE,\u201d but that probably will never become its official name. (Armstrong HW. Now It Can Be Told … The Plain Truth,<\/em> December 1948, pp. 2,5).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

When the Frankfurt trial opened last December, many of the arrested men had to be escorted to Frankfurt by lawyers. Why? Because no police officer would be seen escorting these men to the trial. Lawyers feel that probably 90 per cent of the German people are opposed to these trials. These are not isolated incidents of right-wing nationalists preaching a message of hate. Widespread sympathy of the average German toward former SS-men now on trial comes out constantly in many different aspects of the average German’s way of life. A London paper summed up this feeling quite well. In an article captioned “Germans grow weary of the Mark of Cain,” the editor reported: “People grow weary of rubbing at the mark of Cain. Few West Germans say so publicly, but privately many speak resentfully and sometimes bitterly of the seemingly endless trials to punish Hitler’s henchmen…” (Evening News, February 24, 1964).<\/p>\n

Take the experiences of Dr. Elmer Herterich, nerve specialist from Wurzburg as an example. This man showed that a large number of high officials in the local Wurzburg government had been former high-ranking Nazis, guilty of crimes against humanity. His accusations were backed up by photo-static copies of original documents. But what happened? Were the city officials forced to resign? Did the German populace support Dr. Herterich? Not at all! …<\/p>\n

The Germans followed Adolf Hitler because they believed him to be their savior, and themselves to be a people who were destined to restore German “Kultur” in the world. In this they must also share part of the blame. And what of the future? There is a flicker of nationalism constantly burning in the German people. All it needs is for someone to set it aflame. The time is almost ripe, but there is still one thing lacking \u2014 the “right man” to lead the Germans and all Europe to their prophesied destiny!(Marx GO. German War Crimes – Who Was to Blame? There is still sympathy today in Germany for various aspects of Adolf Hitler’s agenda.<\/p>\n

Some do not think it can happen because of European disunity and ‘values.’<\/p>\n

Europe currently, looks divided and unequal in various ways. Yet, the Bible prophesied that:<\/p>\n

41 Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter\u2019s clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay. 42 And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly fragile. 43 As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay. (Daniel 2:41-43)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Bible is showing that there will be a unity problem with Europe. It will take a strong leader to make Europe\u2019s coming, temporary, unity stronger.<\/p>\n

The old Worldwide Church of God published the following (bolding<\/strong> mine):<\/p>\n

Watch the emergence of a strong man in West Germany<\/strong> (Hogberg G and Walter EM. NATO at the Crossroads. Plain Truth, May 1969)<\/span><\/p>\n

The prophecy of Daniel 11 details events \u2014 at that time, still future \u2014 from the remaining days of the Medo-Persian empire, through the reign of Alexander the Great and his successors in Syria and Egypt, and on through to the second coming of Christ! Beginning in verse 40 we read of a conflict between two great powers: \u201cAnd at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind\u2026.\u201d<\/p>\n

This is an important \u201cend-time\u201d prophecy. Following the chronological progression of the chapter, it becomes apparent that the phrase \u201cking of the north\u201d had at first referred to Syria under the Seleucid dynasty, and later, in the New Testament times, to the Emperor of the Roman Empire. \u2026 Thus, in its final end-time application, the \u201cking of the north\u201d is the prophesied strong man who will lead a coming<\/strong> union of ten European nations \u2014 the seventh and final revival of the ancient Roman Empire<\/strong> prophesied by Daniel and in the book of Revelation (see Revelation 17:12-13). Finally feeling the chilling embrace of Moscow, the German people may yet call for the Bavarian strongman \u2014 the one they feared in good times \u2014 to rescue them from their impending doom. (Hogberg G. WHERE Is WEST GERMANY Headed? Plain Truth, December 1980).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Bible shows that the European beast<\/a> leader, also called the King of the North<\/a>, will arise promising peace.<\/p>\n

25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many<\/strong>: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand. Left-wing billionaire George Soros<\/a>, in a rare op-ed, has fired\u00a0a warning shot to what he describes as the \u201csleeping pro-European majority\u201d ahead of the European Parliament elections in May — saying Europe needs to “wake up before it is too late”\u00a0and\u00a0before nationalist parties take control.<\/p>\n

\u201cEurope is sleepwalking into oblivion, and the people of Europe need to wake up before it is too late,\u201d the Hungarian-American financier, known for his promotion of left-wing policies, he wrote for\u00a0Project Syndicate<\/a>. … with nationalist and right-wing parties on the rise in Europe, Soros is setting off alarm bells of his own. In his op-ed, he claims that \u201canti-European forces\u201d will have a competitive advantage in May, when lawmakers to the European Parliament will be elected. He blames the \u201coutdated party system\u201d and \u201cthe lack of legal tools for disciplining member states that violate the principles on which the European Union was founded.\u201d 02\/12\/19 https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/world\/george-soros-says-europe-is-on-cusp-of-a-nightmare-as-right-wing-parties-set-to-win-big-in-european-election<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

But, no, Europe will not be over.<\/p>\n

The Bible specifically shows that a reorganization will come to Europe and power will be given to that dictator:<\/p>\n

12 \u201cThe ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. 13 These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. (Revelation 17:12-13)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

European Unity to be like Hitler?<\/a><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Boris Johnson, the former Mayor of London, stated that the European Union wanted to be what Adolf Hitler and Napoleon Bonaparte tried to create. Duncan Smith agreed. But European Council President Donald Tusk called Johnson\u2019s comments absurd and then stated that the EU was the answer to the problems facing Europe. But what does the Bible teach about the future of Europe? Is European unity the answer or will it usher in something worse than Adolph Hitler? Dr. Thiel quotes Jesus and others in the Bible for those who truly want to know what will happen in a unified Europe.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The \u201cBeast\u201d leader of Revelation 17:13 is the one who becomes the final King of the North<\/a> (cf. Daniel 11:21-44).<\/p>\n

What about the view that this dictatorial leader will be German?<\/p>\n

Biblical prophecy indicates that this leader will be at least partially Germanic (Isaiah 10:5-12; see also Germany\u2019s Assyrian Roots Throughout History<\/a> and Germany in Biblical Prophecy<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Other people are starting to notice that Europe is already being dominated by Germany (see \u2018Undemocratic\u2019 European Union has become a German empire<\/a>). And many in Europe want that.<\/p>\n

The situation with Islamic migrants in Europe as well as issues with the USA will be factors in Europeans turning towards a dictatorial power.<\/p>\n

While the AfD has its own problems, its rise–as well as the rise of the ENF– is demonstrating that Europeans are becoming less tolerant of Islam than many thought.<\/p>\n

War is Coming Between Europeans and Arabs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But, perhaps it should be noted that the Bible shows that particular war (Daniel 11:40-43) will come AFTER the Europeans successfully war against the USA and its Anglo-Saxon-Celtic dominated allies (cf. Daniel 8:24-25; 11:39).<\/p>\n

The rise of ENF and AfD reminds many of pre-WWII. We are getting closer and closer to WWIII.<\/p>\n
