The five cows are part of the Temple Institute’s program to raise a red heifer in Israel. The Institute has been working closely with local cattle growers in an effort to produce a red heifer candidate. …<\/p>\n

In Search Of The Red Heifer<\/strong>: Long time followers of the Temple Institute know full well that the Institute has for decades been researching the detailed requirements of the ordinance of the red heifer, as described in Numbers, chapter 19, (which will be read in synagogues this coming Shabbat, as part of our spiritual preparation for Passover), as well as the viability of raising a red heifer today. Throughout the years we have documented the birth of potential red heifers born to growers around the world, as well as here in the land of Israel. …<\/p>\n

Now the ones referred to in the above article were later born, but according to the Temple Institute they were not red enough.<\/p>\n

But then there was born on August 28th that it is still considered to be a candidate. Here is information from the Facebook page of the Temple Institute this week:<\/p>\n

The two newborn heifers currently appear to possess the necessary qualifications for being red heifer candidates, having only red hairs, reddish skin and hooves, and no scars or blemishes. additionally, red heifers cannot by yoked or put to work. In the upcoming weeks experts from the Temple Institute will conduct a meticulous examination of the heifers to ascertain whether they are indeed, viable red heifer candidates.<\/p>\n

Currently the Temple Institute is raising a single red heifer candidate born last summer.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A ‘red’ heifer is a female cow that is reddish brown in color which has not produced a calf. They mainly look brown, but with some reddishness.<\/p>\n

Certain Jews believe that God will provide a red heifer just before the Messiah will arise. Essentially some feel this is for a type of re-sanctification of the priesthood. Without that “red heifer” and\/or the related sanctification, the sacrifices the Bible says will be stopped (Daniel 9:27, 11:31) cannot be resumed according to certain Jews.<\/p>\n

Thus, if the relevant Jews willing to sacrifice animals believe this is needed, the location of a ritualistically proper red heifer can be a major milestone in the sequence of end-time events.<\/p>\n

Here is something related to the red heifer and the Temple Institute from nearly five years ago:<\/p>\n

\u201cIn truth, the fate of the entire world depends on the red heifer,\u201d the institute says.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cFor G-d has ordained that its ashes alone are the single missing ingredient for the reinstatement of biblical purity \u2013 and thereafter, the rebuilding of the Holy Temple.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Temple Institute says purification with the red heifer \u201creminds us that man has the potential to rise above his transitory physical existence, with all its false sense of hopelessness and misery \u2026 the impurity<\/em> of death.\u201d http:\/\/www.wnd.com\/2014\/06\/torah-condition-for-3rd-temple-now-met\/#pTyWBvkkroch6Mub.99<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Of course, the fate of the world does not depend upon a red heifer being found, though at some point in time, at least one will apparently be pointed to as important.<\/p>\n

Some Jews, like those affiliated with the Temple Institute, want to resume animal sacrifices and believe having a red heifer is a sign that the time is right. An agreed upon red heifer may increase pressure on the nation of Israel to allow such sacrifices\u2013though it may not happen until the deal of Daniel 9:27 is fulfilled (see also The \u2018Peace Deal\u2019 of Daniel 9:27<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Last December, without having sacrificed a red heifer, the Sanhedrin (which has ties to the Temple Institute) had a sacrifice to dedicate an altar for future sacrifices. We covered that in the following video on our Bible News Prophecy<\/a> YouTube channel:<\/p>\n

The Reconstituted Sanhedrin performed a ceremony on December 10, 2018 to dedicate a new altar for the use of daily sacrifices. High Priest Rabbi Baruch Kahane officiated. How does this align with Bible prophecy? Daniel wrote three times that the daily sacrifices must stop, hence they first must resume. The Great Tribulation will begin shortly after these sacrifices stop. Red Heifers and the Fate of the World <\/a><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The Temple Institute has claimed that the fate of the world depends on something called a red heifer. What is a red heifer? Is it mentioned in the Bible? Could one be tied in with end of the world prophecies? Will animal sacrifices resume in Israel? Is a red heifer or a \u2018third temple\u2019 needed for this? What does the Bible teach about such things? What have representatives of the Temple Institute and Sanhedrin told Dr. Thiel? How many red heifers have there been claimed to be? Do Christians need the ashes of a red heifer? Must Numbers 19, Daniel 12 and Isaiah 1 tie together as proof of the need for a red heifer? Can prophecy be fulfilled for the Messiah without a red heifer? All that being said, as Christians, we do not need a red heifer, but there can be prophetic implications for the Jews having one.<\/p>\n

The Jews have various traditions about the red heifer. In the Mishnah (Parah 3.5) it was claimed that “Moses prepared the first, Ezra prepared the second, and seven were prepared after Ezra.”<\/p>\n

So, according to one tradition, supposedly there have been only nine properly prepared ones and the tenth one is what is needed.<\/p>\n

Notice some else of what the Temple Institute teaches about needing a red heifer and what will happen with it:<\/p>\n

But in truth, the fate of the entire world depends on the red heifer<\/span>. For G-d has ordained that its ashes alone are the single missing ingredient for the reinstatement of Biblical purity – and thereafter, the rebuilding of the Holy Temple…<\/p>\n

The Divine ordinance of the heifer,<\/span> beyond the grasp of man’s frail intellect, with all the details of its preparation and ceremony, calls out to Israel and to all who seek to cling to the living word of the G-d of Israel: “Purify yourselves! Shake off your despair! Death is an illusion!”<\/em> Thus it is written, “…but all of you who cling to the Lord your G-d…you are all alive today”<\/em> (Deut. 4:4)…<\/p>\n

G-d<\/span> uses many devices to bring His children back to Him. … the rabbis observed: “And if one should wonder, how could a man turn his life around, and come close to G-d on account of a heifer?! Do not wonder: For it is through the heifer that all of Israel becomes pure. https:\/\/www.templeinstitute.org\/red_heifer\/introduction.htm<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n

The Mishna teaches<\/span> that up until the destruction of the Second Temple, ashes had been prepared from a total of only nine red heifers<\/span>. The very first red heifer<\/span> was processed by Moses himself – as the verse states, “… have them bring you a red heifer<\/span>.”<\/em> The second was done by the prophet Ezra in the days of the First Temple, and during the entire era of the Second Temple only seven more heifers were used for ashes. This was enough to provide for the nation’s needs for purification throughout all those years.<\/p>\n

The names of all the High Priests<\/span> who prepared those seven heifers during Second Temple times are recorded by the Mishna: Simon the Just and Yochanan each made two; El’yhoeini ben Hakof, Chanamel HaMitzri and Yishmael ben Pi’avi processed one heifer each. Thus, from the time that Moses received the commandment of the red heifer<\/span> from the Holy One, blessed be He, until the destruction of the Second Temple, purifying ashes had been produced by the hands of these great leaders from a total of nine red heifers<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The Tenth Red Heifer<\/span> Will be Prepared by the Messiah<\/strong><\/p>\n

In recounting<\/span> this historical record in his commentary to the Mishna, the great Maimonides ends with the enigmatic statement: “… and the tenth red heifer<\/span> will be accomplished by the king, the Messiah; may he be revealed speedily, Amen, May it be God’s will.<\/em>”<\/p>\n

With this amazing statement,<\/span> Maimonides recounts an ancient tradition – that the tenth red heifer<\/span> is associated with the Messianic era. Does this perhaps mean that the appearance of a red heifer<\/span> in these waning end times is an indication, a forerunner of the appearance of the Messiah himself, who will officiate at its preparation?<\/p>\n

If there has been no red heifer<\/span> for the past 2,000 years, perhaps it is because the time was not right; Israel was far from being ready. But now… what could it mean for the times we live in, to have the means for purification so close at hand? With the words of Maimonides in mind, we cannot help but wonder and pray: If there are now red heifers<\/span>… is ours the era that will need them? https:\/\/www.templeinstitute.org\/red_heifer\/tenth_red_heifer.htm<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Some believe that the tenth red heifer came prior to the destruction of the last temple. Whether it did or not, the Bible simply does not mention ten red heifers.<\/p>\n

Some have wondered if the abomination of desolation Jesus mentioned in Matthew 24:15, that Daniel spoke of, is the sacrificing of the next agreed upon Jewish red heifer. Let me simply state that no, it is not. That abomination has to do more with the final coming Beast of the Sea of Revelation 13 and not a sacrifice of the Jews.<\/p>\n

It is my belief that once there is official governmental permission to start regular sacrifices, that whichever red heifer may be available then may be considered to be the right and acceptable one (even if it was not so before hand).<\/p>\n

Notice something that happened earlier this week:<\/p>\n

For the first time ever, an Israeli politician has had the temerity to publicly declare what, for more than 2,000 years, the Jewish people have prayed for: build the Temple now.<\/p>\n

Moshe Feiglin, head of the Zehut party, shocked participants at a Maariv\/Jerusalem Post conference in Tel Aviv on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t want to build a (Third) Temple<\/a> in one or two years, I want to build it now,\u201d Feiglin said to the crowd. \u201cTo build the Temple I need support, I can\u2019t do it alone,\u201d he said in concluding his speech. …<\/p>\n

A Temple Mount agenda is built into his party\u2019s platform which calls to move government facilities to the Temple Mount and give the Chief Rabbinate authority over the site. Many have said that this is an extremist position which will lead to war, but Shmuel Sackett, co-founder of the party and one of its candidates for the Knesset, refuted these claims.<\/p>\n

\u201cBuilding the 3rd and final temple in Jerusalem has been the dream of Jews for more than 2,000 years. The goal of the State of Israel is to bring about the fulfillment of the Jewish dream and not the destruction of it,\u2019 Sackett told Breaking Israel News<\/i>. \u201cWe must educate the world as to the beauty of that dream and to the wonderful peace it will bring. Not every dream can be realized immediately but we must do what we can to move closer to that reality.\u201d …<\/p>\n

\u201cWho does not want Moshiach (Messiah)? That is what we are saying\u201d he said to Breaking Israel News<\/i>. https:\/\/www.breakingisraelnews.com\/125975\/israeli-government-building-third-temple\/<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

(Note: The last Jewish temple was destroyed in 70 A.D., so that was less than 2000 years ago). Anyway, since certain Jews believe that they need a red heifer in order to consecrate another Temple, if they think they may have one, this would tend to increase pressure on the government of Israel to somehow allow regular animal sacrifices.<\/p>\n

The Bible shows that the Jews will again have animal sacrifices (cf. Daniel 9:27; 11:31) and the fact is that the Temple Institute and others are taking steps that will lead to the fulfillment of various end time prophecies (watch also The Red Heifer and the End of the World<\/a>).<\/p>\n

The Temple Institute is excited about the birth of the latest red heifer candidates and this could impact their efforts to resume regular animal sacrifices.<\/p>\n
