A gunman killed 20\u00a0people and\u00a0injured 26 others Saturday after he opened fire at a Walmart in El Paso,\u00a0Texas, state and city officials said. https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/el-paso-walmart-shooting-20-dead-26-injured-gov-greg-abbott-police-chief-greg-allen<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cI heard the shots but I thought they were hits, like roof construction,\u201d said Adriana Quezada, 39, who was in Walmart with in the women\u2019s clothing section with her two children.<\/p>\n

She said she saw four men, dressed in black, wearing shirts, moved together firing guns indiscriminately.<\/p>\n

\u201cI saw four men, shooting everywhere,\u201d Quezada said \u201cI told my son, those are gunshots.\u201d<\/p>\n

Her daughter, 19, and son, 16, threw themselves in the ground, then ran out of the Walmart through an emergency exit. They were unhurt. …<\/p>\n

Presidential candidate and former Texas congressman Beto O\u2019Rourke appeared a bit shaken as he appeared at a candidate forum in Las Vegas on Saturday shortly after news of the shooting in his hometown was reported.<\/p>\n

O\u2019Rourke said he had called his wife before taking the stage and said the shooting shatters \u201cany illusion that we have that progress is inevitable\u201d on tackling gun violence. https:\/\/www.apnews.com\/13545dd216ae4e7aa46c524b7ee4cbec<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This was a wicked act. Sadly, we are likely to see more of this.<\/p>\n

This is the third such wicked shooting in the USA within a week:<\/p>\n

EL PASO, Texas \u2014 Multiple people are dead and\u00a0one person is in custody after a mass shooting\u00a0Saturday morning at an El Paso, Texas Walmart, according to authorities.<\/p>\n

The shooting sent shoppers, including children, scrambling for cover at a local mall across the parking lot from Walmart.\u00a0Police said the scene is now under control, and there is no imminent threat.<\/p>\n

The shooting comes just days after two people were shot and killed in a Walmart store in Southhaven, Mississippi<\/a>, south of Memphis, and the same week three people were killed at a shooting at the Gilroy Garlic Festival<\/a> in California. https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/news\/nation\/2019\/08\/03\/active-shooting-el-paso-walmart-area-police\/1909957001\/<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Bible warns about the wicked:<\/p>\n

1 An oracle within my heart concerning the transgression of the wicked:
\nThere is no fear of God before his eyes.
\n2 For he flatters himself in his own eyes,
\nWhen he finds out his iniquity and when he hates.
\n3 The words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit;
\nHe has ceased to be wise and to do good.
\n4 He devises wickedness on his bed;
\nHe sets himself in a way that is not good;
\nHe does not abhor evil. (Psalms 36:1-4)<\/p>\n

15 “Their feet are swift to shed blood;
\n16 Destruction and misery are in their ways;
\n17 And the way of peace they have not known.”
\n18 “There is no fear of God before their eyes.” (Romans 3:15-18)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Less and less have proper “fear of God.”<\/p>\n

We continue to see shootings and other terroristic acts.<\/p>\n

The Bible also warns:<\/p>\n

25 … There shall be terror within<\/strong> (Deuteronomy 32:25)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

There is more and more terror within the USA. And more is coming.<\/p>\n

The Bible teaches:<\/p>\n

9 ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Enough, O princes of Israel! Remove violence and plundering, execute justice and righteousness (Ezekiel 45:9)<\/p>\n

9…You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 10 Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. (Romans 13:9-10)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As we see less and less respect towards the God of the Bible, we should expect to see more violence.<\/p>\n

High School Shootings: 7 Failed Solutions <\/a><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

There have been many school shootings. The shooting at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, resulted in 17 deaths. But also has brought out various calls for change. In this video, Dr. Thiel explains why seven \u2018solutions\u2019 have not worked. These seven include involving the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), school warnings, psychological counseling and medications, armed school guards, first responders, gun control, and boycotting the National Rifle Association (NRA). Dr. Thiel explains why we have seen more such shootings and why more violence is expected based upon biblical prophecies. He also explains the only real solution to bring peace.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n

The problem is moral decline and lack of proper fear of God.<\/p>\n

This has impacted pretty much all of American society.<\/p>\n

Notice that terror for the corrupt was prophesied:<\/p>\n

5 They have corrupted themselves<\/strong>; They are not His children, Because of their blemish: A perverse and crooked generation<\/strong>. \u2026 25 The sword shall destroy outside; There shall be terror within<\/strong> (Deuteronomy 32:5,25)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

We continue to see shootings and other terroristic acts.<\/p>\n

The Bible teaches:<\/p>\n

The further that the USA moves away from biblical morality, the more violence we will see.<\/p>\n

National repentance is what the USA needs. But since that is not likely, the real solution is the Kingdom of God<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Bible shows that God is against violence and that destruction will come because of it:<\/p>\n

23 \u2018Make a chain,
\nFor the land is filled with crimes of blood,
\nAnd the city is full of violence.<\/strong>
\n24 Therefore I will bring the worst of the Gentiles,
\nAnd they will possess their houses;
\nI will cause the pomp of the strong to cease,
\nAnd their holy places shall be defiled. (Ezekiel 7:23-24)<\/p>\n

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting<\/strong>; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality\u202630\u2026violent<\/strong>, proud, boasters,\u202631\u2026unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them<\/strong>. (Romans 1:28-32)<\/p>\n

8 \u2026 And the violence of the land and the city, And of all who dwell in it. ( Habakkuk 2:8)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Consider also the following prophecy for the last days:<\/p>\n

1<\/span> But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: <\/span>2<\/span> For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, <\/span>3<\/span> unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, <\/span>4<\/span> traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, <\/span>(2 Timothy 3:1-4).<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Terroristic murders are brutal. Many are boasters, proud, without self-control. Many shooters also want publicity, like that is so important to murder for.<\/p>\n

Jesus warned:<\/p>\n

8 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles. These are the beginnings of sorrows. (Mark 13:8)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

We are in a time of \u201ctroubles.\u201d We are in the \u201cbeginning of sorrows.\u201d<\/p>\n

A worse time of \u2018tribulation<\/a>\u2018 is coming (Mark 13:19) and is getting closer.<\/p>\n

Now, the USA is not the only place to have violence.<\/p>\n

Though today’s shooting and the one at the Gilroy Garlic festival on Sunday seem to place the USA in a uniquely horrible category.<\/p>\n
