Because they know that a new Parliament would be decidedly more Leave than Remain. The polls are perfectly clear on this. …<\/p>\n For the Remain crowd, going for the Second Referendum first would render a general election irrelevant because the new government, no matter how strongly pro-Brexit, would be tied to the terms of the referendum.<\/p>\n That\u2019s the Remain gambit and that\u2019s why the court was always going to rule against the government. It is the British elite and civil service who do not want Brexit. They are all EU-firsters and traitors to the British people they represent.<\/p>\n Their willingness to upend all conventions of civilized governance is the clue you need to realize just how big the stakes are.<\/p>\n With the EU falling into a massive recession<\/a> that ECB President Mario Draghi is willing to throw aside all EU fiscal compact rules to combat (Hello MMT!) the risks are acute.<\/p>\n Because, make no mistake, losing the UK from the EU\u2019s budget would be catastrophic for an EU staring at massive capital outflows as helicopter money happens and bond yields reverse from their current bubble levels.<\/p>\n Brexit is emblematic of the West\u2019s decline from the rule by law to the rule by men. https:\/\/www.strategic-culture.org\/news\/2019\/09\/27\/stopping-brexit-is-about-saving-the-european-union\/<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n Prior to Donald Trump taking office, I wrote:<\/p>\n 2016 was a turning point for Europe. While the Bible shows the Europeans will have difficulties being together (Daniel 2:41-43), it also shows that they will reorganize and unite (Revelation 17:12-13). The U.S. seeks compensation for what they say are illegal subsidies granted to the plane maker Airbus<\/a> by European governments.<\/p>\n Earlier this month<\/a>, Airbus shares dipped sharply following reports that the WTO will rule in favor of the U.S, granting President Donald Trump the right to slap billions of dollars of tariffs in compensation.<\/p>\n Washington has said it wants to impose tariffs of up to 100% on European exports to the U.S. with an annual trade value of around $11.2 billion a year.<\/p>\n Reuters, quoting sources, reported Thursday that the United States government won\u2019t get to that figure but will win the right to impose tariffs on EU goods worth around $7.5 billion annually.<\/p>\n The United States has already drawn up a wide-ranging list<\/a> of European goods which it says it will select from, once the WTO determines an appropriate amount. https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2019\/09\/27\/huge-trade-tariffs-on-europe-could-come-next-week-if-us-wins-wto-fight.html<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n Brexit and Trump Administration tariffs may end up being a one-two punch damaging the economy of the EU.<\/p>\n The late Pastor General of the old Worldwide Church of God, Herbert W. Armstrong<\/a><\/span>, had a view about economic matters and European unity. Here is something he said in a sermon on July 7, 1984:<\/p>\n And I can see now, the event that is going to trigger the formation of the reunification in Europe<\/strong>; the resurrection of the medieval Holy Roman Empire that we\u2019ve been looking forward to that is prophesied to come\u2026<\/p>\n But I believe that some event is going to happen suddenly just like out a blue sky that is going to shock the whole world and is going to cause the nations in Europe to realize they must unite! \u2026 Well now I think I can see what may be the very event that is going to trigger\u2026that is the economic situation in the world<\/strong>\u2026<\/p>\n The whole banking structure in the United States is a network all jointed together. But not only that, one nation has to deal with other nations and imports and exports. And so they have to have a means of transforming money from one nation to another. And so the banking structure is international and interwoven\u2026<\/p>\n Now when the financial structure breaks down, all civilization is going to break down\u2026<\/p><\/blockquote>\n So, an economic or banking crisis is what Herbert W. Armstrong<\/a><\/span> concluded would drive Europe to unite.<\/p>\n While not the only factors, items like Brexit and US trade issues can help push Europe into an economic crisis.<\/p>\n Economic factors will be a reason that Europe will reorganize and put in place the Beast power.<\/p>\n The Bible shows that Europe will reorganize:<\/p>\n 12 \u201cThe ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet<\/strong>, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. 13 These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. (Revelation 17:12-13)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Brexit is adding more pressure for the EU to change and reorganize. And that will come to pass.<\/p>\n One day the European Beast power will arise and take actions that most of those in the UK (as well as USA and Canada) will not consider possible (cf. Daniel 8:24-25, 11:39; see also USA in Prophecy: The Strongest Fortresses<\/a><\/span>).<\/p>\n A \u2018no deal\u2019 or \u2018hard Brexit\u2019 will impact the EU and the UK.<\/p>\n Yet, it will also tend to speed-up European resolve against the UK, its British-descended allies, and the USA.<\/p>\n In March of 2017, I posted the following:<\/p>\n The fact of Brexit and the EU\u2019s response today must be pushing the Brits to conclude that they need to move closer to the USA on trade. The EU has taken several stances that the UK does not like, including stances that the EU used to pretend it did not really have. Glimpses of the true colors of the European project (e.g. Daniel 2:41-43; Isaiah 10:5-8) have re-assured some<\/em> in the UK that leaving the EU is in its best interest.<\/p>\n Consider that the Bible itself teaches that Europe will reorganize and unite (Revelation 17:12-13; see also Must the Ten Kings of Revelation 17:12 Rule over Ten Currently Existing Nations?<\/a>), as well as become the dominant world trading power for a time (Revelation 17 & 18). The Bible also teaches of a time of Jacob\u2019s trouble (Jeremiah 30:7)\u2013and this will include the UK (as well as the USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand).<\/p>\n The Bible is accurate and its prophecies can be counted on.<\/p>\n Most people do NOT realize what will happen in Europe.<\/p>\n Europe is not going to \u2018get over\u2019 the Brexit or Donald Trump and will one day take actions that most of those in the UK (as well as USA and Canada) will not consider possible (cf.
