Sleeping dragon no more: China about to replace US as strongest naval power and Washington is too late to stop it<\/h2>\n

China might soon shift the world naval balance and unseat the US as the modern master of the seas. The process appears to already be under way, and there is little that Washington can do about stopping it.<\/div>\n
\n

Visibly shaken by what it has seen on a photo showing just one of China’s military shipyards near Shanghai, the business magazine Forbes recently told its readers an alarming story about the “impressive rate”<\/em> and “vast scale”<\/em> of Chinese naval modernization.<\/p>\n

The shipyard in question indeed appears to be an impressive sight to behold. There, one can see a total of nine newly constructed destroyers lined along the quay and docked in an inner shipyard basin. By contrast, the entire UK Royal Navy has a total of just six similar-class vessels, Forbes notes<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As if it was not enough, the same shipyard is also building China’s newest aircraft carrier \u2013 the third in a row. The second one, called the\u00a0Shandong<\/em>, was commissioned by the People\u2019s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) earlier this week. Designed to carry 36 J-15 fighter jets, it is China’s first fully domestically produced carrier.<\/p>\n

The one under construction at the Shanghai shipyard is expected to be even bigger and better. In particular, it will have an electromagnetic catapult \u2013 just like the US Navy\u2019s newest carrier, USS\u00a0Gerald R. Ford<\/em>. …<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the RAND Corporation \u2013 a premier US military think tank — showed<\/a> in its research that China’s rapid military development program has already allowed it to drastically close the gap in power and technology, and even to put the US at a disadvantage in certain scenarios. …<\/p>\n

Beijing has made its naval forces the cornerstone of its military modernization, analysts tell RT. China is actively pursuing the role of a global military power able to project its force to any corner of the earth, and the US may not have the sheer industrial capacity to compete. …<\/p>\n

Washington might slow Beijing down a bit at some point, but the way things look now, the US doesn’t seem to have any credible means to prevent China from becoming the world’s next naval superpower in a decade or two<\/strong>. https:\/\/www.rt.com\/news\/476527-chinese-navy-replace-us-strongest\/<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Berlin and Brussels have criticized White House sanctions against companies involved in building a Russian natural gas pipeline to Germany. They accused President Trump of interfering in national and bloc sovereignty.<\/p>\n

US sanctions targeting the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline<\/a> between Russia and Germany were signed into law on Friday evening\u00a0after President Donald Trump signed off on a massive defense bill.<\/a><\/p>\n

The sanctions target companies that are involved in constructing the $11 billion (\u20ac9.93 billion) energy project that will transport Russian gas supplies under the Baltic Sea and deliver them directly to Germany.<\/p>\n

The Trump administration now has 60 days to identify companies and individuals providing services on the pipeline. The sanctions allow Washington to revoke\u00a0US visas and block the\u00a0property of these individuals. Those targeted by the sanctions would then have 30 days to wind down their operations.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, the group behind the project said it would aim to complete the project quickly in an effort to minimize the damage of US sanctions.<\/p>\n

“Completing the project is essential for European supply security. We, together with the companies supporting the project, will work on finishing the pipeline as soon as possible,” Nord Stream 2 said in a statement. https:\/\/www.dw.com\/en\/germany-eu-decry-us-nord-stream-sanctions\/a-51759319<\/a><\/p>\n

In 2019, China<\/a> was the country with the most diplomatic missions, overtaking the U.S. China can now count 276 posts abroad, including 169 embassies, compared with the U.S.\u2019 273 foreign diplomatic posts, according to the Lowy Institute.<\/a><\/p>\n

China has built a far-reaching network of diplomatic missions with some located in isolated places like pacific island nations Vanuatu, Micronesia and French Polynesia \u2013 the Chinese mission being the only one in the French overseas territory. 11\/28\/19 https:\/\/www.statista.com\/chart\/20138\/countries-with-most-diplomatic-missions-in-the-world\/<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The USA is upsetting both Russia and the European Union with sanctions. This is resulting in more resentment against the USA.<\/p>\n

In the next decade or two, the 6,000 years for humans to rule themselves will be over (see Does God Have a 6,000 Year Plan? What Year Does the 6,000 Years End?<\/a>). And yes, in the next decade or two the USA will be no more (cf. Lamentations 1:1-2; Daniel 11:39) and I suspect that China will use its diplomatic, economic, and military influence to acquire additional territories, such as Australia and maybe even New Zealand.<\/p>\n

It has declared that Australia is a \u2018paper cat,\u2019 that China will get revenge against it, and that Australia would be no more. Is this possible? Are there biblical and other reasons to think that this threat is real? Yes, there are risks to Australia and today’s visit of Chinese naval power should remind those in Australia that the risk is real.<\/p>\n

The time will come when Australia will NOT be able to rely on the USA (cf. Daniel 11:39; 8:24-25).<\/p>\n

Furthermore, China has been engaged in building roads and major seaports around the world as part of its Belt and Road Initiative. Having seaports gives its navy access to supplies as well as gives it logistical advantages that it otherwise would not have.<\/p>\n

Historically, the USA and UK have had more friendly ports than China, but China has been spending in more places recently to work towards its global goals.<\/p>\n

That being said, China is not prophesied to dominate the world in the next decade or so. The Bible prophesies the re-emergence of Europe (Revelation 13:1-10).<\/p>\n

However, after a few years, the Bible also shows that Europe will be defeated. And that defeat will involve powers such as Russia and China.<\/p>\n

As far as China’s naval plans, they unintentionally will assist, for a time, in the rise of Europe.<\/p>\n

China\u2019s Silk Road and Babylon the Great<\/a><\/h3>\n

China has been embarking on a multi-trillion dollar project to build roads and ports to connect more of Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe to it. This has been called the \u2018Belt and Road Initiative,\u2019 Silk Road Project, Silk Road 2.0, and the One Belt, One Road Initiative. While this is expected to benefit Chinese trade (as well as provide infrastructure for the gathering at Armageddon), could this also benefit the rise of Babylon the Great foretold in the Book of Revelation and scriptures in the Old Testament? What about the proposed Polar Silk Road? Will the benefits to Europe last or will the end time \u2018daughter of Babylon\u2019 possibly face invasion from nations involved with the Silk Road project? Dr. Thiel addresses these issues with scriptures from the Bible.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The European power will be instrumental in the taking over of the USA, Canada, and the UK, consistent with prophecies such as Daniel 8:24-25, Daniel 11:39, Isaiah 10:5-12. and Isaiah 17:3. This will remove all Anglo-American protection from Australia and New Zealand. The European power is prophesied to divide up lands that it conquers (Daniel 11:39; see also Will the Anglo-Saxon-Celtic Nations be Divided and Have People Taken as Slaves?<\/a>), which will benefit places such as Russia and China.<\/p>\n

Yet, this arrangement will not last as places like Russia and China will eventually feel betrayed by the European Beast power and take action against the European King of the North<\/a> (Daniel 11:44-45).<\/p>\n

And yes, then I suspect we will see Chinese military power being used against Europe as China will take advantage of its ports and other projects related to it Belt and Road Initiative.<\/p>\n

NBC reports that China intends to spend one trillion dollars to build roads, bridges, railroads, and maritime facilities to reach from China to Europe and China to the Middle East. Over 60 nations, including Russia, are involved with this. Could this Silk Road project possibly produce thoroughfares that could be used by troops that will amass at Armageddon?
