Germany is facing another source of uncertainty on the economic front, having narrowly avoided a technical recession in 2019 that has prompted opposition lawmakers to call on the government to introduce stimulus measures and to raise public spending. …<\/p>\n

German economy was facing a \u201cmassive problem\u201d over the next five to ten years, with the auto industry expecting lower car sales and thousands of job cuts as it shifts to electric technology. …<\/p>\n

Carsten Brzeski, chief economist at ING Germany, said in a note earlier in December.<\/p>\n

Although the EU has tended to portray Brexit as a financial disaster for the UK (e.g. \u2018Cliff-edge Brexit will hurt UK more than EU, says Von der Leyen\u2019<\/a>), the reality is that Brexit, as well as trade positions of US President Donald Trump, may greatly impact the economies of the EU nation states.<\/p>\n

While Bible prophecy shows that Europe will dominate the world economically for a time (see Revelation 17 and 18), the Bible also shows Europe<\/a>, itself, will have ups and downs first (cf. Daniel 2:41-43).<\/p>\n

As far as economic factors and Europe go, the late Herbert W. Armstrong<\/a> stated the following in a sermon on July 7, 1984:<\/p>\n

And I can see now, the event that is going to trigger the formation of the reunification in Europe<\/strong>; the resurrection of the medieval Holy Roman Empire that we\u2019ve been looking forward to that is prophesied to come\u2026<\/p>\n

But I believe that some event is going to happen suddenly just like out a blue sky that is going to shock the whole world and is going to cause the nations in Europe to realize they must unite! \u2026 Well now I think I can see what may be the very event that is going to trigger\u2026that is the economic situation in the world<\/strong>\u2026<\/p>\n

The whole banking structure in the United States is a network all jointed together. But not only that, one nation has to deal with other nations and imports and exports. And so they have to have a means of transforming money from one nation to another. And so the banking structure is international and interwoven\u2026<\/p>\n

Now when the financial structure breaks down, all civilization is going to break down\u2026<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

It is quite likely that Europe will have a banking and\/or other massive financial crisis in the next decade.<\/p>\n

Economic crises can lead to civil unrest. And I expect civil unrest in many parts of Europe, including in Germany<\/p>\n

Various leaders in Europe have called for reorganization and change.<\/p>\n

Make Europe Relevant Again<\/h2>\n

With Trump, the US has elected not a president but a CEO \u2013 a businessman who focuses only on short-term deals, revenue maximization, and shareholder value. Such a leader is unable to play the long game, which requires accepting short-term losses and handling externalities responsibly and in close cooperation with one\u2019s competitors.Trump\u2019s blinkered approach may work for stock markets and corporations, but it is no way to run an international order. https:\/\/www.project-syndicate.org\/commentary\/us-china-tech-race-sidelines-europe-by-sigmar-gabriel-and-christoph-bornschein-2019-12<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So, a strong leader with a long term vision to lead a changed Europe is being called for.<\/p>\n

Well, the Bible shows that Europe will reorganize and turn power over to ten leaders who will then turn power over to a powerful dictator:<\/p>\n

12 \u201cThe ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet<\/strong>, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. 13 These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. (Revelation 17:12-13)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

These ten kings have no kingdom, but are to attain one–some have misunderstood this (see Must the Ten Kings of Revelation 17:12 Rule over Ten Currently Existing Nations?<\/a>). Clearly, the Bible tells of a type of reorganization in verse 12. Since the ‘ten kings’ give their power to the Beast in verse 13, this is a another type of reorganization. The \u201cbeast<\/a>\u201d is not shown to have much power prior to Revelation 17:12-13. This beast would seem to have Assyrian roots per Isaiah 10:5-11, and hence would likely be someone from Germany or Austria (see also Germany in Biblical and Catholic Prophecy<\/a>). This turnover of power to him results in a dictatorship–likely similar to the one led by Adolf Hitler (see also European Unity to be like Hitler?<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Notice that Revelation 17:12-13 does NOT say that ten existing nations will give their power to the Beast, but that ten kings who had not had a kingdom will get power and transfer it (for more on this, check out the article Must the Ten Kings of Revelation 17:12 Rule over Ten Currently Existing Nations?<\/a>).<\/p>\n

The European Beast is also called the King of the North<\/a> in the Book of Daniel. Catholic writings seem to refer to him as the Antichrist<\/a> or one they call The Great Monarch<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n

While Germany and the rest of Europe is NOT yet ready for that reorganization, we are seeing events that will lead to it.<\/p>\n

Yes, I expect Germany to have economic and other problems.<\/p>\n

However, despite prophesied problems (cf. Daniel 2:41-43), a Bible prophecy shows that a German-dominated Europe will rise up.<\/p>\n
