WASHINGTON D.C.<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 In recent weeks, concern over the emergence of a novel coronavirus in China has grown exponentially as media, experts and government officials around the world have openly worried that this new disease has the potential to develop into a global pandemic.<\/p>\n

As concerns about the future of the ongoing outbreak have grown, so too have the number of theories speculating about the outbreak\u2019s origin, many of which blame a variety of state actors and\/or controversial billionaires. This has inevitably led to efforts to clamp down on \u201cmisinformation\u201d related to the coronavirus outbreak from both mainstream media outlets and major social media platforms.<\/p>\n

However, while many of these theories are clearly speculative, there is also verifiable evidence regarding the recent interest of one controversial U.S. government agency in novel coronaviruses, specifically those transmitted from bats to humans. That agency, the Pentagon\u2019s Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA), began spending millions on such research in 2018 and some of those Pentagon-funded studies were conducted at known U.S. military bioweapons labs bordering China and resulted in the discovery of dozens of new coronavirus strains as recently as last April. Furthermore, the ties of the Pentagon\u2019s main biodefense lab to a virology institute in Wuhan, China \u2014 where the current outbreak is believed to have begun \u2014 have been unreported in English language media thus far. 01\/30\/20 https:\/\/www.thelastamericanvagabond.com\/top-news\/bats-gene-editing-bioweapons-recent-darpa-experiments-raise-concerns-amid-coronavirus-outbreak\/<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Biological Warfare and Prophecy<\/a><\/h3>\n

Is biological warfare possible? Was it prophesied? Scientists have long warned that pathogenic organisms like the coronavirus could be weaponized. Furthermore, back in 2017, there were concerns that the biological research facility being constructed in Wuhan, China was risky and that a coronavirus from it could be released. On January 25, 2020, China’s President Xi Jinping publicly stated that the situation with the Wuhan-related strain of the coronavirus was grave. Did Church of God writers like the late evangelist Raymond McNair warn that engineered viruses (the “Doomsday bug”) were consistent with prophecies from Jesus? Did a warning from CCOG leader Bob Thiel warn about risks of genetically-modified (GMO) mosquitoes come to pass? Could human research and\/or the consumption of biblically-unclean animals such as bats and snakes be a factor in current outbreaks or coming future pestilences? What about famines? How devastating have pestilences been? How devastating are the prophesied ones going to be?
