A Palestinian \u201cexpert\u201d appeared on official PA television …<\/p>\n

The program was an interview featuring Expert on international law Dr. Ibrahim Al-Rabi, who was described as an \u201cexpert on international law.\u201d<\/p>\n

Official PA TV reporter: <\/b>\u201cThere is construction work taking place under the Al-Aqsa Mosque to build the alleged Temple of Solomon\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

Expert on international law Dr. Ibrahim Al-Rabi:<\/b> \u201cRegarding this [Western] wall that the Jews claim is the remains of the Temple of Solomon \u2013 it must be understood that UNESCO has said that this wall has no connection to Jews, but is rather an Islamic heritage. Well, the Jews do have a connection to Jerusalem, irrespective of UNESCO claims.<\/p>\n

That being said, as I reported here a couple of years ago, the Jews do have a synagogue under what is called the ‘Temple Mount’ (see Defying Muslims, Jews have synagogue under \u2018Temple Mount<\/a>). Here is some of what was in that post:<\/p>\n

December 28, 2017<\/p>\n

While there may not be a Third Temple at which Israeli Jews can worship atop<\/i> the Jerusalem Temple Mount, there is a brand-new synagogue under<\/i> the foundation of the holy site \u2013 and it\u2019s open for prayer.<\/p>\n

The new center of worship is the result of 12 years of construction at a cost of $50 million, and it is located directly under the Western Wall, where Jews have gathered for centuries to pray at the retaining wall for the Temple Mount.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe unique design of the prayer hall combines rare art and unique lighting, creating a wonderful contrast between ancient and modern,\u201d said a statement by the Western Wall Heritage Foundation.<\/p>\n

In a related development, Israeli Culture Minister Miri Regev has suggested the government allocate another $50 million to explore the foundations Temple beneath Muslim Al-Aqsa Mosque.<\/p>\n

In the new synagogue, the bimah, or altar, and seating are made of wood. The synagogue features dozens of elegant benches, arranged in separate men\u2019s and women\u2019s sections.<\/p>\n

The Torah ark is adorned with metalwork letters that incorporate the biblical verses of the \u201cShema Yisrael\u201d prayer.<\/div>\n

The Western Wall Heritage Foundation is scheduled to establish and publish regulations regarding prayer in the new synagogue.<\/p>\n

The project has been funded by the Delek Science, Education and Culture Foundation, with additional private support from Delek Group owner Yitzhak Tshuva and his family. The Muslims have not been happy about this:<\/p>\n

In a statement, Sheikh Ekrema Sabri, head of Jerusalem\u2019s Supreme Islamic Council and a former Al-Aqsa imam, stressed that the Al-Buraq Wall was a component of the Al-Aqsa\u2019s western wall.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe wall is part of our Islamic heritage and will remain so until Judgment Day,\u201d Sabri said, according to Days of Palestine.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Israeli occupation has no claim on Jerusalem\u2019s heritage,\u201d he added. \u201cThis new synagogue\u2026 doesn\u2019t have any historical roots.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAll new construction by the [Israeli] occupation authorities in Jerusalem is illegitimate and lacks a historical basis,\u201d Sabri said, adding that the holy city \u201ccannot be partitioned\u201d.<\/p>\n

In October 2016, UNESCO voted on a resolution which denied any Jewish connection to Al-Aqsa Mosque and Al-Buraq Wall in occupied Jerusalem.<\/p>\n

Tension has mounted in the occupied territories since US President Donald Trump recognized Jerusalem as Israel\u2019s capital on 6 December, drawing condemnation from across the world. Yesterday the United Nationals Security Council voted 14 to one against Trump\u2019s decision, however due to the US power of veto a resolution could not be passed against his unilateral move. 12\/20\/17 http:\/\/imemc.org\/article\/new-synagogue-in-al-aqsa-mosque-compound-unveiled-50m-to-be-allocated-for-temple-mount-explorations\/<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As far as Donald Trump and Jerusalem goes, we have a video: Jerusalem, Donald Trump, and Prophecy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As far as this new Jewish synagogue goes, it obviously has been in the works for a long time. Various Muslims are watching this and are not pleased.<\/p>\n

Because of certain Jewish views related to the Temple Mount, it makes one wonder if it is possible that the Jews will possibly begin animal sacrifices in a place like this new synagogue.<\/p>\n

While the Bible does tell of animal sacrifices being stopped prior (Daniel 9:27; 11:31) to the time that Jesus will return to establish the millennial<\/a> Kingdom of God<\/a>, neither the Bible nor the Jews teach that a massive Jewish Temple must be built on the area claimed to be the Temple Mount in order to perform animal sacrifices (the actual location of the original temple is a matter of dispute).<\/p>\n

As mentioned before, representatives of the Sanhedrin and Temple Institute have directly told me this.<\/p>\n

And to prove this further, in December 2018, the Jews performed a sacrifice off the Temple Mount and then performed an altar cleansing\/dedication ceremony on the Temple Mount. Sanhedrin makes burnt offering to dedicate altar!<\/a><\/h3>\n

The Reconstituted Sanhedrin performed a ceremony on December 10, 2018 to dedicate a new altar for the use of daily sacrifices. High Priest Rabbi Baruch Kahane officiated. How does this align with Bible prophecy? Daniel wrote three times that the daily sacrifices must stop, hence they first must resume. The Great Tribulation will begin shortly after these sacrifices stop. In this video Dr. Thiel, who has also been to Israel and spoken with The Temple Institute quotes several scriptures and explains why the actions by the Sanhedrin align with prophecy and the end times. <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

As far as animal sacrifices go, notice that the Bible shows that during the time of Ezra animal sacrifices in the Temple were made before the second Jewish Temple was built:<\/p>\n

2 Then Jeshua the son of Jozadak and his brethren the priests, and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and his brethren, arose and built the altar of the God of Israel, to offer burnt offerings on it, as it is written in the Law of Moses the man of God. 3 Though fear had come upon them because of the people of those countries, they set the altar on its bases; and they offered burnt offerings on it to the Lord, both the morning and evening burnt offerings. 4 They also kept the Feast of Tabernacles, as it is written, and offered the daily burnt offerings in the number required by ordinance for each day. 5 Afterwards they offered the regular burnt offering, and those for New Moons and for all the appointed feasts of the Lord that were consecrated, and those of everyone who willingly offered a freewill offering to the Lord. 6 From the first day of the seventh month they began to offer burnt offerings to the Lord, although the foundation of the temple of the Lord had not been laid. (Ezra 3:2-6)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

An actual rebuilt temple on the Temple Mount is not biblically required for the resumption of animal sacrifices, and many Jewish religious authorities realize this. Last April, the Sanhedrin had a \u2018Passover\u2019 sacrifice in Jerusalem<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Since the Bible shows that the Jews will again have regular animal sacrifices (cf. Daniel 9:27; 11:31), that will happen.<\/p>\n

Some believe that the Sanhedrin is bringing on \u2018Antichrist\u2019 through its sacrifices and desire for another temple (see Sanhedrin Accused of Bringing Anti-Christ<\/a>).<\/p>\n

The current reason that animal sacrifices are not allowed on the Temple Mount itself is political. That being said, it may take the \u2018peace deal\u2019 of Daniel 9:27 to set the stage for the daily sacrifices, but that too will involve politicians. Politicians can change, and enough will to fulfill prophecies related to animal sacrifices.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, consider that after the first Jerusalem temple was built and left in ruins, the Bible itself specifically shows that sacrifices were made in the time of Ezra BEFORE the second temple was ready:<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

6 From the first day of the seventh month began they to offer burnt offerings unto the LORD. But the foundation of the temple of the LORD was not yet laid. (Ezra 3:6)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Thus, Jews know that they can perform animal sacrifices without a rebuilt Temple. They tend to think that they mainly need to do so near that area of the old Temple.<\/p>\n

And if under the Temple Mount area is acceptable to them, a place like that MIGHT be considered.<\/p>\n

We will see.<\/p>\n
