The Arab League rejected the Trump Administration’s Middle East peace plan:<\/p>\n

The Arab League<\/a>\u00a0has completely rejected US President Donald Trump<\/a>‘s Middle East plan during\u00a0an emergency meeting in\u00a0Egypt<\/a>‘s capital, saying it would not lead to a just peace deal.<\/p>\n

In a statement on Saturday, the pan-Arab bloc said it\u00a0“rejects the US-Israeli ‘deal of the century’ considering that it does not meet the minimum rights and aspirations of Palestinian people.”<\/p>\n

Arab states also agreed “not to … cooperate with the US administration to implement this plan,” adding that Israel should not implement the initiative by force. They insisted on a two-state solution that includes a Palestinian state based on borders before the 1967 war, when Israel occupied the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem<\/a>. Note that the Arabs agreed NOT to work with the US on this.<\/p>\n

It perhaps should be mentioned that Daniel 9:26-27 mentions at least some European involvement in the temporary ‘peace deal’ that will come to that region of the world.<\/p>\n

Palestinian Authority cuts ties with Israel and U.S.<\/h2>\n

February 1, 2020<\/p>\n

CAIRO (Reuters) – The Palestinian Authority has cut all ties with the United States and Israel, including those relating to security, after rejecting a Middle East peace plan presented by U.S. President Donald Trump, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said on Saturday.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Abbas was in Cairo to address the Arab League, which backed the Palestinians in their opposition to Trump\u2019s plan.<\/p>\n

The blueprint, endorsed by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, calls for the creation of a demilitarized Palestinian state that excludes Jewish settlements built in occupied territory and is under near-total Israeli security control.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve informed the Israeli side … that there will be no relations at all with them and the United States including security ties,\u201d Abbas told the one-day emergency meeting, called to discuss Trump\u2019s plan. https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/us-israel-palestinians-security\/palestinian-authority-cuts-ties-with-israel-and-us-idUSKBN1ZV3PO<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So, could cutting security ties mean that there might be a terrorist problem coming?<\/p>\n

Yes.<\/p>\n

Will there be some type of international peace deal coming beyond the Trump Administration plan?<\/p>\n

Yes.<\/p>\n

As far as terror goes, the Bible shows that Palestinians, apparently along with some Syrians, are prophesied to be involved in some type of apparently terrorist action:<\/p>\n

\n

8 The Lord sent a word against Jacob, And it has fallen on Israel. 9 All the people will know — Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria — Who say in pride and arrogance of heart: 10 ‘The bricks have fallen down, But we will rebuild with hewn stones; The sycamores are cut down, But we will replace them with cedars.” 11 Therefore the Lord shall set up The adversaries of Rezin against him, And spur his enemies on, 12 The Syrians before and the Philistines behind; And they shall devour Israel with an open mouth. (Isaiah 9:8-12)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Since the above prophecy involves Ephraim and Samaria (see Spiritual Samaritans: Old and New<\/a>), this is indicative that the UK and USA will be attacked (see Anglo – America in Prophecy & the Lost Tribes of Israel<\/a>), apparently including terroristic tactics (hitting them before and behind)–though not all Syrians or Palestinians would be part of this.<\/p>\n

The Bible shows that terrorism is prophesied:<\/p>\n

\n

14 \u2018But if you do not obey Me, and do not observe all these commandments, 15 and if you despise My statutes, or if your soul abhors My judgments, so that you do not perform all My commandments, but break My covenant, 16 I also will do this to you: I will even appoint terror over you<\/strong>, wasting disease and fever which shall consume the eyes and cause sorrow of heart. And you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it. 17 I will set My face against you, and you shall be defeated by your enemies. Those who hate you shall reign over you, and you shall flee when no one pursues you<\/strong>. (Leviticus 26:14-17)<\/p>\n

25 The sword shall destroy outside; There shall be terror within<\/strong> (Deuteronomy 32:25)<\/p>\n

12 \u201cCry and wail, son of man; For it will be against My people, Against all the princes of Israel. Terrors including the sword will be against My people<\/strong>; Therefore strike your thigh. (Ezekiel 21:12)<\/p>\n

12 Behold, these are the ungodly,Who are always at ease<\/strong>; They increase in riches\u202619 Oh, how they are brought to desolation, as in a moment! They are utterly consumed with terrors. <\/strong> (Psalms 73:12,19)<\/p>\n

25 Because you disdained all my counsel, And would have none of my rebuke<\/strong>, 26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your terror comes, 27 When your terror comes like a storm, <\/strong>And your destruction comes like a whirlwind, When distress and anguish come upon you. (Proverbs 1:25-27)<\/p>\n

5 Also they are afraid of<\/strong> height, And of terrors in the way<\/strong> (Ecclesiastes 12:5).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

As far as some Palestinian support of terrorism, notice the following:<\/p>\n

A new generation of angry, disillusioned Palestinians is driving the current wave of clashes with Israeli forces . . . some say they want to emulate those killed or wounded in confrontations or attacks on Israelis \u2013 like Mohannad Halabi, the 19-year-old law student from the West Bank who stabbed to death two Israelis in Jerusalem\u2019s Old City on the weekend before being shot by police.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are all impressed by what he has done,\u201d said Malik Hussein, the 19-year-old friend and fellow law student at Quds University near Jerusalem. \u201cThe day after the attack, university took to the streets and clashed with Israeli soldiers. Mohannad\u2019s way is the only way to liberate Palestine.\u201d (Daraghmeh M, Laub K. Disillusioned Palestinian youth drive unrest. National Post, October 7, 2015, A1)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Of course, the solution to Palestine and Jerusalem is not war and terrorism, but the return of Jesus Christ and the establishment of the Kingdom of God<\/a>. Malik Hussein and others should, \u201cPray for the peace of Jerusalem\u201d (Psalm 122:6).<\/p>\n

But, a temporal peace will come to the region BEFORE Jesus returns.<\/p>\n

Daniel 9:26-27 states:<\/p>\n

\n

26 And the people of the prince who is to come
\nShall destroy the city and the sanctuary.
\nThe end of it shall be with a flood,
\nAnd till the end of the war desolations are determined.
\n27 Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;
\nBut in the middle of the week
\nHe shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.
\nAnd on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate,
\nEven until the consummation, which is determined,
\nIs poured out on the desolate (Daniel 9:26-27).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The above is referring to a deal or covenant that has a time element attached to it. In a sense, this numbered deal could be considered an end time “handwriting on the wall” (see also Can those in the USA\/UK see the Handwriting on the Wall<\/em>?<\/a>). The deal of Daniel 9:26-27 is NOT the Trump Administration deal as currently proposed (for reasons why, check out the post Trump Administration \u2018deal of the century\u2019 peace plan has features consistent with biblical prophecy, but . . .<\/span> <\/a>).<\/p>\n

The \u2018one week\u2019 time element has generally been understood by prophecy watchers to mean a seven year deal (2520 days, based on prophetic 360 day years), that will be broken in the middle of it (after 3 1\/2 years). The Hebrew word translated as “week” literally means “sevened” (OT:7620 literal, sevened. Biblesoft’s New Exhaustive Strong’s Numbers and Concordance with Expanded Greek-Hebrew Dictionary. The ‘with many’ referred to in this passage would seem to indicate that ‘many’ nations, as opposed to one or two, are agreeing to something.<\/p>\n

While Daniel 9:26 calls this leader a “prince,” he is later referred to as the king of a developing European empire (Daniel 11:40; see also King of the North<\/a> and Europa, the Beast, and the Book of Revelation<\/a>). Daniel 9:26-27 tie directly in with Daniel 11:<\/p>\n

\n

31 And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices,<\/em> and place there<\/em> the abomination of desolation.<\/span> (Daniel 11:31).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Why is Daniel 9:27 believed to be a type of ‘peace deal’?<\/p>\n

There are several reasons. Notice some other scriptures that discuss this leader:<\/p>\n

\n

25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many<\/strong>: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand. (Daniel 8:25, KJV).<\/p>\n

23 And after the league is made with him he shall act deceitfully<\/strong>, for he shall come up and become strong with a small number of people. 24 He shall enter peaceably<\/strong>, even into the richest places of the province; and he shall do what his fathers have not done, nor his forefathers: he shall disperse among them the plunder, spoil, and riches; and he shall devise his plans against the strongholds, but only for a time. (Daniel 11:23-24, NKJV) <\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So this leader gives people the impression that there will be “peace” and is involved in some type of deal. This is the same leader that confirms the covenant in Daniel 9:27. The term is translated as “peace” in Daniel 8:25 is from the Hebrew term shalvah<\/em> and essentially means security. In other words, this leader will destroy “many” who are under the impression that they are secure because of some type of security and\/or trade arrangement. Such arrangements are now commonly referred to as peace deals or treaties.<\/p>\n

However, war often precedes peace. Hence, we may see major conflict in the Middle East before the peace deal of Daniel 9:27 is put in place.<\/p>\n

But such a deal will happen–whether the USA is part of it or not.<\/p>\n

The Bible tells of European involvement. That does not mean that the USA cannot be involved (it very well may be), but it is not biblically-required to be involved.<\/p>\n

Despite claims to the contrary, the USA might be involved. The UN may well be involved. But biblically, we know that Europe<\/a> will be involved (cf. Daniel 9:26-27; see also The ‘Peace Deal’ of Daniel 9:27<\/a>).<\/p>\n

The current world order is changing and will change further–the final time of the Gentiles is coming (Luke 21:24; Revelation 11:1-2; see also The Times of the Gentiles<\/a>).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
