The White House and Senate leaders of both parties have agreed on a sweeping $2 trillion financial relief package<\/a><\/span>\u00a0to help American workers, businesses and the severely strained health care system survive the still-spreading\u00a0coronavirus outbreak<\/a><\/span>. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said the chamber would pass the bill Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The unprecedented package would provide direct payments to most Americans, expand jobless benefits, provide $367 billion to small businesses, and assist state and local governments.<\/p>\n

Mr. Trump has said he wants to ease restrictions on businesses aimed at slowing the spread of the virus, to get the U.S. “opened up<\/a><\/span>” again, by Easter. But the president’s impatience with the widespread closures is up against an outbreak that’s still growing fast. The World Health Organization warned Tuesday that the U.S. could become the next “epicenter” in the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n

More than 55,000 people have tested positive and more than 800 have died of the disease in the U.S., according to Johns Hopkins University<\/a>. https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/live-updates\/coronavirus-disease-covid-19-latest-news-deaths-2020-03-25\/<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The US intends to essentially increase official debt and basically print money out of thin air. The novel Wuhan coronavirus, that was officially dubbed COVID-19 has another ‘official name’ from various scientists, as they have named the actual virus that causes COVID-19 ‘SARS-CoV-2’:<\/p>\n

A novel human coronavirus that is now named severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) (formerly called HCoV-19) emerged in Wuhan, China, in late 2019 and is now causing a pandemic. 03\/17\/20 https:\/\/www.nejm.org\/doi\/full\/10.1056\/NEJMc2004973<\/a><\/p>\n

COVID-19 is caused by a coronavirus. Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that are common in people and many different species of animals, including camels, cattle, cats, and bats. Rarely, animal coronaviruses can infect people and then spread between people such as with MERS-CoV<\/a>, SARS-CoV<\/a>, and now with this new virus (named SARS-CoV-2).<\/p>\n

The SARS-CoV-2 virus is a betacoronavirus, like MERS-CoV and SARS-CoV. All three of these viruses have their origins in bats. https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/coronavirus\/2019-ncov\/cases-updates\/summary.html<\/a> accessed 03\/25\/20<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Yes, human consumption of biblically unclean animals, like bats, seems to be a cause of the current problem.<\/p>\n

The Bible specifically teaches that humans should not eat bats. Notice:<\/p>\n

12 But these you shall not eat:<\/strong> the eagle, the vulture, the buzzard, 13 the red kite, the falcon, and the kite after their kinds; 14 every raven after its kind; 15 the ostrich, the short-eared owl, the sea gull, and the hawk after their kinds; 16 the little owl, the screech owl, the white owl, 17 the jackdaw, the carrion vulture, the fisher owl, 18 the stork, the heron after its kind, and the hoopoe and the bat<\/strong>. Avoiding consuming biblically-unclean meat is something that is wise. Yet, we are not hearing major governments telling people to stop eating unclean animals.<\/p>\n

But since humans often ignore God\u2019s admonitions, more pestilences are expected (e.g. Matthew 24:8).<\/p>\n

Unclean animals have been implicated in COVID-19. One views it that viruses in two unclean animals resulted in SARS-CoV-2:<\/p>\n

Coronavirus Could Be a \u2018Chimera\u2019 of Two Different Viruses, Genome Analysis Suggests<\/h2>\n

In the space of a few weeks, we have all learned a lot about COVID-19 and the virus that causes it: SARS-CoV-2. …<\/p>\n

In which animal species did it occur? A bat, a pangolin or another wild species? Where does it come from? … many\u00a0Betacoronaviruses<\/em> have been discovered, mainly in bats, but also in humans. …<\/p>\n

These results indicate that bats, and in particular species of the genus\u00a0Rhinolophus<\/em>, constitute the reservoir of the SARS-CoV and SARS-CoV-2 viruses. … genomic comparisons suggest that the SARS-Cov-2 virus is the result of a recombination between two different viruses, one close to RaTG13 and the other closer to the pangolin virus. In other words, it is a chimera between two pre-existing viruses.<\/p>\n

This recombination mechanism had\u00a0already been described<\/a>\u00a0in coronaviruses, in particular to explain the origin of SARS-CoV. It is important to know that recombination results in a new virus potentially capable of infecting a new host species.<\/p>\n

For recombination to occur, the two divergent viruses must have infected the same organism simultaneously.<\/p>\n

Either way, if people did not eat biblically unclean animals, the risk from various diseases, including COVID-19 would be reduced.<\/p>\n

But that is not a solution that we expect to see implemented before the return of Jesus and the establishment of the millennial portion<\/a> of the Kingdom of God<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n
