Hulk Hogan is correct that the West in particular, and the world in general, worships false gods. And yes, the plagues of Egypt showed that the true God is above all the false gods. The world needs massive repentance according to scripture (cf. Hosea 11:5b-7), but according to prophetic scriptures that is not actually expected to occur (cf. Revelation 9:20-21, 16:9-11)–however, individual repentance still is possible (see also Is God Calling You?<\/a><\/span>).<\/p>\n

Now, in places like the USA, those who thought the nation was a constitutional republic that would not interfere with religious worship found out they were wrong.<\/p>\n

As far as the US goes, notice the first and fourteenth amendment to its constitution:<\/p>\n

1. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.<\/p>\n

14. All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction there of, are citizens of the United States and of the State where in they reside. No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Anyway, although many American politicians take an oath to defend the US Constitution, they believe they have the right to dismiss parts and infringe upon rights it grants. And have done so.<\/p>\n

Of course, this is not just happening in the US.<\/p>\n

Prophetically what is happening is consistent with the troubles Jesus foretold:<\/p>\n

8 … And there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles. These are the beginnings of sorrows. (Mark 13:8)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In the 7th through 12th chapters of the Book of Exodus, we read about 10 plagues that hit Egypt. Each plague was against one or more of the false gods of Egypt.<\/p>\n

Each of those plagues is consistent with future prophecies that are listed in the New Testament.<\/p>\n

According to certain Jewish traditions, the ten plagues on Egypt are to be repeated before the Messiah comes. Some have wondered if \u201dZombie Deer Disease,\u2019 officially knows as \u2018Chronic Wasting Disease\u2019 (which is spreading according to the US CDC) is confirmation of that Jewish view.
