Mahmoud Abbas, the head of the PLO, threatened that if Israel annexes the Biblical areas in Judea and Samaria he would respond by\u2026going away, …<\/p>\n

The newly formed unity government joining political rivals Benny Gantz and Benjamin Netanyahu announced that they will annex Judea and Samaria, leading Mahmoud Abbas, President of the Palestinian Authority, to threaten that such a move would lead him to dissolve the Palestinian Authority.\u00a0 …<\/p>\n

Though it seems self-destructive, Debka <\/i>reported that dissolving the Palestinian government would \u201csaddle Israel with the administration and care for all civic needs of two million Palestinian denizens of the territory \u2013 health, water, economy, jobs, etc.\u201d<\/p>\n

Netanyahu and Gantz, political rivals, agreed to form a unity government two weeks ago<\/a> in which Netanyahu would remain prime minister for 18 months before handing over the position to Gantz for the remainder of a three-year term.<\/p>\n

The agreement also stated that the new government would bring Donald Trump\u2019s \u201cvision for peace\u201d to a government vote from 1 July. The plan gives Israel full military control over Judea and Samaria. …<\/p>\n

The Palestinian Authority has already rejected Trump\u2019s peace plan.<\/p>\n

The European Union and several European states, including Germany, France and the United Kingdom made public statements saying that Israeli annexation of Judea and Samaria would endanger their relations with Israel.<\/p>\n

A U.S. State Department spokesperson said last week that the United States remains ready to recognize Israel\u2019s annexation of territory in the West Bank<\/a>, but expects Israel to continue negotiations with the Palestinians. https:\/\/www.breakingisraelnews.com\/149596\/abbas-threatens-dissolve-pa-israel-annexes-judea-samaria\/<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Palestinians do not believe that Donald Trump’s “Vision for Peace” (which he has referred to as “The deal of the century”) treats them well. In addition to the Judea-Samaria part, there are specifics in the plan that seem to put the Palestianians on a type of probation\u2013which they also seemingly do not like. The Palestinians are getting more and more upset with the USA and have been looking to Europe to assist it in future negotiations.<\/p>\n

Now, Bible prophecy does tell of a temporary peace deal coming to the region in the Book of Daniel:<\/p>\n

26 And the people of the prince who is to come Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, And till the end of the war desolations are determined. 27 Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate (Daniel 9:26-27).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The biblically-prophesied \u201cprince\u201d to confirm it will be a European leader<\/a> who is later called the King of the North<\/a> in Daniel 11:40. The \u2018one week\u2019 has generally been understood by prophecy watchers to mean a seven year deal, that is broken in the middle of it (after 3 1\/2 years). This break is also confirmed in the following scripture:<\/p>\n

31 And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation. (Daniel 11:31)
\n<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The \u201chim\u201d above is the European King of the North<\/a>. He may move to Jerusalem to claim to enforce peace, but according to Jesus, that should serve as a warning that it is time to flee:<\/p>\n

20 But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. 21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her. (Luke 21:20-21)<\/p>\n

15 “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), 16 “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. 18 And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. 19 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! 20 And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened. (Matthew 24:15-22)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Notice also that the armies surrounding Jerusalem and the abomination standing in the holy place will be signals that it is time to flee. But, sadly, most Christians will not accept that sign, probably because of lukewarmness and claims that it is being done for peaceful reasons–plus they hold many prophetic misunderstandings that, unless they change them, will prevent them from seeing what is happening (see Do You Hold to Any of These Laodicean Prophetic Errors?<\/a>). As far as the Trump-Kushner \u2018deal of the century\u2019 goes, it is NOT the biblically prophesied deal. Though at least parts of it could be included in the deal that will happen.<\/p>\n

Since the Palestinians have rejected the deal and the fact that peace deals tend mainly to come after wars, expect some type of a regional conflict in the area before the deal of Daniel 9:26-27 takes hold.<\/p>\n

But, the fact that aspects of Trump’s peace deal continues to be pushed in the area and the fact that the Bible prophesied a peace deal for that area should help skeptics realize that the Bible is true and its prophecies will come to pass.<\/p>\n

And yes, we are getting closer to the time that the Daniel 9:27 peace deal will be confirmed. But not yet.<\/p>\n

On January 28, 2020, the Trump Administration revealed its Mideast peace plan, which Donald Trump has referred to as the ‘deal of the century.’ Could it have prophetic ramifications? So, too, has Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas as well as Hamas. Turkey’s President Recep Erdogan claimed that he received economic and other threats from the United States for his public objection of the plan. Could Turkey take actions against the USA?
