Today is the fifth of May, ‘Cinco de Mayo’ is Spanish. But it is also a Mexican holiday:<\/p>\n

Cinco de Mayo, or fifth of May in Spanish, also called Battle of Puebla Day, is an annual celebration observed in Mexico and the United States<\/a> that marks the former\u2019s military victory on its soil over French forces in 1862. …<\/p>\n

In the US, in the mid-20th century, the celebration became a way for immigrants from Mexico to express pride in their heritage. Later, Cinco de Mayo also became popular with other demographics in the country when the festivities were linked with Mexican alcoholic beverages. https:\/\/indianexpress.com\/article\/explained\/explained-the-importance-of-cinco-de-mayo-for-mexico-and-mexicans-6394297\/<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Although Cinco de Mayo is a celebration of the defeat of French forces, it has come to be a day of Mexican pride, and one where US acquisition of formerly Mexican held territories is denounced.<\/p>\n

But that type of denouncement is not limited to Cinco de Mayo. Last Summer protest in Colorado ended up with the US flag replaced by the flag of Mexico:<\/p>\n

Authorities in Colorado<\/a> restored an American flag<\/a> to its place Friday evening after protesters demonstrating outside a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility pulled down the star-spangled banner and flew the flag of Mexico in its place.<\/p>\n

The protesters also removed a \u201cBlue Lives Matter\u201d flag, honoring law enforcement, spray-painted it with the words \u201cAbolish ICE,\u201d then raised the flag upside-down, on a pole next to the Mexican flag, according to local media.<\/p>\n

Hundreds of protesters had gathered in Aurora, Colo., outside the federal facility that holds illegal immigrants<\/a>, to protest ICE raids scheduled to begin Sunday in Denver and other major U.S. cities, FOX 31 Denver<\/a> reported. …<\/p>\n

Beginning Sunday, ICE agents will reportedly work to round up thousands of illegal immigrants across the U.S. https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/colorado-protestors-rip-down-american-flag-at-ice-facility-raise-mexico-flag-vandalize-blue-lives-matter-flag<\/a><\/p>\n

A crowd estimated at more than 1,000 rallied to protest the possible federal roundups of some illegal immigrants outside the detention facility, where some protesters broke through a barrier and upended the flags, according to local news outlets.<\/p>\n

A “Blue Lives Matter” flag is something related to the police\/federal agents.<\/p>\n

But I would like to mainly focus on the replacement of the US flag with that the Mexican flag.<\/p>\n

Twelve years ago, I saw the advertisement for Absolut Vodka<\/em> (shown at the beginning of this post) and posted:<\/p>\n

I believe that the Absolut<\/em> ad will get more and more Mexicans to think that Mexico deserves to get this land back.<\/p>\n

And while some may think that this is only a fanciful dream, for decades I have believed that Mexico would join with the coming European Beast power<\/a> and assist in invading the United States once the King of the North<\/a> decides to make his move. And I believe that the King of the North will reward Mexico by giving it some (if not possibly, all) of the land that the USA gained through the sword from it. (Thiel B. Many in Mexico still want that land, including Colorado, back. It has be called the “reconquista” (re-conquering in English).<\/p>\n

Apparently some Mexicans in the US feel the same way.<\/p>\n

A flag is a symbol of who controls the land.<\/p>\n

Expect more issues to arise.<\/p>\n

Various ones in Mexico have long considered that the USA is an enemy nation. Notice the following threat from a former President of Mexico:<\/p>\n

While many people will consider the idea that Mexico would ever go to war against the USA preposterous, I have felt for decades that Mexico would support the final European Beast power with troops when it successfully attacks the USA (cf. Yes, many Mexicans believe that the US is basically bullying Mexico.<\/p>\n

Many Mexicans believe that the USA improperly took lands such as most or all of California, Arizona, Texas, New Mexico, Nevada, Colorado. They believe that they are entitled to receive that land back.<\/p>\n

The Bible teaches that the European King of the North<\/a> power will takeover the USA and divide its land for gain:<\/p>\n

39 Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain. (Daniel 11:39)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The “he” is the European King of the North<\/a> and the power with the “strongest fortresses” in the 21st century is the USA (see also USA in Prophecy: The Strongest Fortresses<\/a>).<\/p>\n

This will happen as part of the time of Jacob’s trouble (Jeremiah 30:7), also known as the Great Tribulation<\/a> (Matthew 24:21). This will be when, as Jesus said, “the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled” (Luke 21:24). Mexico is a Gentile nation.<\/p>\n

I expect that Mexico will end up with at least some of its claimed lands back this century.<\/p>\n

Sound preposterous?<\/p>\n

Consider something that happened long ago:<\/p>\n

April 6, 2017<\/p>\n

One hundred years ago today, the United States officially declared war on Germany and entered World War I. Days before the declaration of war, President Woodrow Wilson urged a special joint session of Congress to \u201cformally accept the status of belligerent which has thus been thrust upon it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wilson had not wanted to do this. Indeed, he\u2019d won reelection the previous fall as the antiwar candidate, running on the popular slogans \u201cHe kept us out of war\u201d and \u201cAmerica First\u201d\u2014appeals to voters who wanted to stay out of a major European war and avoid a simmering conflict with Mexico.<\/p>\n

But two events would change everything, and force Americans to accept that they could no longer avoid what had become a global conflict. The first was Germany\u2019s resumption of unrestricted submarine warfare on passenger and merchant ships. The second was the \u201cZimmerman telegraph,\u201d which revealed Germany\u2019s attempt to forge a secret alliance with Mexico against the United States, promising to help Mexico recover territory it had ceded to the United States following the Mexican-American War in 1848.<\/div>\n

Both of these developments, like much of World War I, seem exotic and unimaginable today. A major military power attacking passenger ships with submarines? Mexico invading Texas? It\u2019s easy to think we\u2019ll never face such scenarios again, and we probably won\u2019t face those particular scenarios. But as distant and strange as the First World War seems to us today, the reasons Wilson changed course and declared war hold vital relevance to our national life in the twenty-first century, and we ignore or misunderstand those reasons to our peril. https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2017\/04\/06\/americas-reasons-entering-wwi-resonate-today\/<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I do believe that Mexico will be willing to cooperate with a German-dominated (also Gentile) power in Europe to invade the USA and that trade between the Europeans and Latin Americans will increase.<\/p>\n

Consider something that I warned about in 2008:<\/p>\n

In the spirit of accommodation and personal interest, many of the \u201cstandards\u201d of the European Union will be adopted by the USA, Canada and Mexico, as well as by nearly all of the countries of the world. The Arab nations will most likely agree with many of the standards as they seem to be destined to form a brief end-time alliance with the Europeans (The Arab World In the Bible, History, and Prophecy<\/a>).<\/p>\n

However, over time, it will become increasingly clear that the British will be in more agreement with the Canadians and Americans and that the European Union in more agreement with the Mexicans than the EU will have with the English-speaking nations.<\/p>\n

Trade wars and\/or serious trade disputes will most likely arise.<\/p>\n

The Brits will ultimately decide that they are more supportive of the Americans and Canadians. They will be so much more supportive that they will end up in a trading agreement with them (with the Australians and New Zealanders probably also becoming part of that agreement).<\/p>\n

The EU will decide that Mexico and the rest of Latin America are in more agreement with it and thus make some type of serious trading agreement with most (or all) of Latin America. The Vatican will also have influence here as Latin America is highly Roman Catholic<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Europeans and Americans, however, will continue to have military agreements, though many will be tense about them.<\/p>\n

Eventually, the Europeans (possibly under the cover of pretending that they are involved in a \u201cNATO-like\u201d exercise in North America) will eventually launch a surprise attack against the United States in fulfillment of both biblical and Catholic prophecies. Do not think it cannot happen. Mexico is pivoting towards Europe.<\/p>\n
