Israel carried out a recent cyberattack against Iran that shut down one of the country\u2019s major ports for days, causing chaos, apparently in retaliation for an Iranian attack last month on Israel\u2019s water infrastructure …<\/p>\n

Operations at the Shahid Rajaee port\u2014one of two major shipping terminals in the coastal city of Bandar Abbas in the Strait of Hormuz\u2014came to a sudden halt on May 9 after the port\u2019s computer systems were hacked by an unknown source, according to the report.<\/p>\n

Security and intelligence officials from the United States and abroad told The Post that the \u201chighly accurate\u201d cyber attack, which paralyzed the port for days, causing severe maritime and land traffic jams, appears to have been perpetrated by Israeli operatives. …<\/p>\n

The Stuxnet worm, revealed in 2010 and widely assumed to be a joint Israel-U.S. creation, is believed to have caused serious damage to Iran\u2019s nuclear program. President Abbas declares end to agreements with Israel, US<\/h2>\n

RAMALLAH, Tuesday, May 19, 2020 (WAFA) \u2013 President Mahmoud Abbas today declared an end to the agreements and understandings signed with Israel and the United States and turned over responsibility over the occupied territories back to Israel.<\/p>\n

“The Palestine Liberation Organization and the State of Palestine are absolved, as of today, of all the agreements and understandings with the American and Israeli governments and of all the obligations based on these understandings and agreements, including the security ones,” the President declared at an emergency meeting for the Palestinian leadership held in Ramallah to discuss Israeli plans to annex parts of the occupied Palestinian land as declared in the new Israeli government’s coalition agreement.<\/p>\n

“The Israeli occupation authority, as of today, has to shoulder all responsibilities and obligations in front of the international community as an occupying power over the territory of the occupied state of Palestine, with all its consequences and repercussions based on international law and international humanitarian law, particularly the Fourth Geneva Convention of 1949, which holds the occupying power responsible for the protection of the civilian population under occupation and their property, criminalizes collective punishment, bans theft of resources, appropriation and annexation of land, bans forced transfer of the population of the occupied territory and bans transfer of the population of the occupying state (the colonialists) to the land it occupies, which all are grave violations and war crimes,” he said. http:\/\/english.wafa.ps\/page.aspx?id=cBrJbOa117154132029acBrJbO<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

President Abbas is furious that Israel intends to officially annex Judea-Samaria and that the USA is supporting this (see\u00a0Netanyahu sworn in and wants annexations, but Jordan\u2019s King Abdullah opposed<\/span><\/a>). His statements yesterday are consistent with what he said about this about two weeks ago (see BI: Abbas Threatens to Dissolve PA If Israel Annexes an Inch of Judea and Samaria<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Why report about Iran and the Palestinian National Authority together?<\/p>\n

Well, although they do not get along well (mainly because Iran backs Hamas as the ‘legitimate’ representative of the Palestinian people and not the Palestinian National Authority0), remember the expression, “the enemy of my enemy is my friend.”<\/p>\n

The Iranian and Palestinian leadership are enraged at both Israel and the USA.<\/p>\n

Both want Israel to lose control of Jerusalem.<\/p>\n

Neither want the nation of Israel to exist. But the USA does.<\/p>\n

Then on January 2, 2020, US President authorized a drone strike that killed Iranian General Qasem Soleimani, a top commander of Iran\u2019s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, the Baghdad International Airport. Could this be related to prophecies such as Ezekiel 32:24-25? What about Ezekiel 38? Is Iran (and allies like Syria) prophesied to attack Israel and cause damage to Jerusalem? Could Iran use EMP weapons and\/or terrorism in retaliation against the US? Will Iran one day be neutralized? Will Ezekiel 32 be completely fulfilled in the future? As it turns out, there are prophecies about peoples that look to be in Iran and Syria attacking the tiny nation of Israel in the end times:<\/p>\n

All who are found in you are bound together; They have fled from afar. 4 Therefore I said, \u201cLook away from me, I will weep bitterly; Do not labor to comfort me Because of the plundering of the daughter of my people.\u201d<\/p>\n

5 For it is a day of trouble and treading down and perplexity By the Lord God of hosts In the Valley of Vision \u2014 Breaking down the walls And of crying to the mountain. 6 Elam bore the quiver With chariots of men and horsemen<\/strong>, And Kir uncovered the shield. 7 It shall come to pass that your choicest valleys Shall be full of chariots, And the horsemen shall set themselves in array at the gate.<\/p>\n

12 And in that day the Lord God of hosts Called for weeping and for mourning, For baldness and for girding with sackcloth. 13 But instead, joy and gladness, Slaying oxen and killing sheep, Eating meat and drinking wine: \u201cLet us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die!\u201d<\/p>\n

14 Then it was revealed in my hearing by the Lord of hosts,\u201dSurely for this iniquity there will be no atonement for you, Even to your death,\u201d says the Lord God of hosts. (Isaiah 22:1-14 NKJV)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Elam is a reference to at least some in Iran. The Bible tells that after Tiglath-Pileser king of Assyria took over Damascus, he moved Syrians to Kir. While this does not mean that Kir must (or must only) be a reference to Syria, the fact that Syria is an ally of Iran is interesting.<\/p>\n

In Isaiah 22: 8, \u201cJudah\u201d is a reference to those in the land commonly called Israel\u2013God will allow Israel to be attacked! In Isaiah 22:9, consider that \u201cthe damage to the city of David\u201d is a reference to at least part of Jerusalem\u2013and notice that the damage will be great. This, in turn, would be expected to result in a massive Israeli, possibly with US involvement, attack against Iran and its allies, like Syria.<\/p>\n

More death and destruction is prophesied to come.<\/p>\n

It may be that Iran and the Palestinians will cooperate a bit.<\/p>\n

We are getting closer to the start of the ride of the second horseman of the Apocalypse–that is the horseman of war.<\/p>\n

Iran, Syria, and the Palestinians look to be affected by the second horseman’s ride. As will be Israel and other lands.<\/p>\n

Bible prophecy tells of a temporary peace deal coming to the region in the Book of Daniel. Before getting to that, consider that most ‘peace deals’ come after war.<\/p>\n

In addition to damage coming to Jerusalem, Syria’s capital Damascus is prophesied to become a ruinous heap (Isaiah 17:1). Iran is also prophesied to be badly damaged (Ezekiel 32:24-25). One or more of these events look prophesied to take place with the ride of the second horseman.<\/p>\n

Being greatly damaged does tend to motivate political leaders to accept truces and other types of peace deals. The Bible shows that a temporary one will happen in the Middle East:<\/p>\n

26 And the people of the prince who is to come Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, And till the end of the war desolations are determined. 27 Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate (Daniel 9:26-27).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The biblically-prophesied \u201cprince\u201d to confirm it will be a European leader<\/a> who is later called the King of the North<\/a> in Daniel 11:40.<\/p>\n

The \u2018one week\u2019 has generally been understood by prophecy watchers to mean a seven year deal, that is broken in the middle of it (after 3 1\/2 years). This break is also confirmed in the following scripture:<\/p>\n

31 And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation. (Daniel 11:31)
\n<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The \u201chim\u201d above is the European King of the North<\/a>. The Israeli annexation is pushing the Palestinians further away from the USA and closer towards the Europeans. There will be European involvement in the Middle East.<\/p>\n

The European King of the North<\/a> may even move to Jerusalem to claim to enforce the peace deal (probably with troops called ‘peacekeepers’). Yet, according to Jesus, that should serve as a warning that it is time to flee:<\/p>\n

\n

20 But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. 21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her. (Luke 21:20-21)<\/p>\n

15 “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), 16 “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. 18 And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. 19 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! 20 And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened. (Matthew 24:15-22)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Anyway, annexation will NOT go as well as Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu hopes.<\/p>\n

Ultimately, the Bible shows that Israel will lose territories to the Palestinians (see Gaza and the Palestinians in Bible Prophecy<\/a>)–and European forces will be in Jerusalem.<\/p>\n
