Although the European Union and United Kingdom had both declared they would allow the Chinese company Huawei to be part of its 5G plans, the UK has changed its position to that advocated by the USA:<\/p>\n

Britain is set to phase out Huawei equipment from its 5G mobile networks this year, the U.K. press reported over the weekend. If so, it marks a major U-turn in the government\u2019s position on the Chinese telecommunications giant.<\/p>\n

The government is drawing up plans to strip Huawei gear from Britain\u2019s next-generation networks by the end of the year …<\/p>\n

It comes after London said in January that Huawei could play a limited role in Britain\u2019s 5G networks<\/a>, a move which angered the U.S. as it sought to get other countries to block the Chinese company. Washington maintains that Huawei is a national security risk, alleging its equipment could be used by Beijing for espionage. Huawei has repeatedly denied the claim.<\/p>\n

The apparent policy reversal was driven by a new report from a branch of British intelligence agency GCHQ that raised new security fears over Huawei following U.S. moves to cut off the Chinese firm from key chips.<\/p>\n

The new U.S. rule passed in May<\/a>,\u00a0requires foreign manufacturers using American chipmaking equipment to get a license before being able to sell semiconductors to Huawei. The U.K.\u2019s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) launched an emergency review<\/a> of Huawei\u2019s role shortly after.<\/p>\n

That review is set to be presented to the government this week and concludes that U.S. sanctions will force Huawei to use untrusted technology that could make the risk impossible to control, the Daily Telegraph reported.<\/p>\n

Prime Minister Boris Johnson\u2019s government is now drawing up plans to stop the purchase of new Huawei gear and rip out existing 5G equipment, the newspaper said.\u00a0 …<\/p>\n

The U.S. has been on a global campaign for over a year to convince nations to block Huawei from their 5G networks. Some such as Australia have followed suit.<\/p>\n

But when the U.K. decided to allow Huawei a limited role, a move that reportedly angered<\/a> President Donald Trump. U.S. politicians have publicly urged the U.K. to change its mind. The latest reports from Britain will likely be seen in a favorable light in Washington. https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2020\/07\/06\/huawei-uk-5g-gear-to-be-phased-out-of-networks-in-major-policy-u-turn.html<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

While the USA does use economic and other pressures, as it turns out, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the USA comprise a group called the Five Eyes.<\/p>\n

The European Union is NOT part of the Five Eyes and have been less than pleased that they have long been excluded.<\/p>\n

The Five Eyes<\/b> (FVEY<\/b>) is an intelligence<\/a> alliance comprising Australia<\/a>, Canada<\/a>, New Zealand<\/a>, the United Kingdom<\/a> and the United States<\/a>.[1]<\/a><\/sup> These countries are parties to the multilateral UKUSA Agreement<\/a>, a treaty for joint cooperation in signals intelligence<\/a>.[2]<\/a><\/sup>[3]<\/a><\/sup>[4]<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n

The origins of the FVEY can be traced back to the post\u2013World War II<\/a> period, when the Atlantic Charter<\/a> was issued by the Allies<\/a> to lay out their goals for a post-war world. During the course of the Cold War<\/a>, the ECHELON<\/a> surveillance system was initially developed by the FVEY to monitor the communications of the former Soviet Union<\/a> and the Eastern Bloc<\/a>, although it is now used to monitor private communications worldwide.[5]<\/a><\/sup>[6]<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n

In the late 1990s, the existence of ECHELON was disclosed to the public, triggering a major debate in the European Parliament<\/a> and, to a lesser extent, the United States Congress<\/a>. The FVEY further expanded their surveillance capabilities during the course of the “war on terror<\/a>“, with much emphasis placed on monitoring the World Wide Web<\/a>. The former NSA<\/a> contractor Edward Snowden<\/a> described the Five Eyes as a “supra-national<\/a> intelligence organisation that does not answer to the known laws of its own countries”.[7]<\/a><\/sup> Documents leaked by Snowden in 2013 revealed that the FVEY has been spying on one another’s citizens and sharing the collected information with each other in order to circumvent restrictive domestic regulations<\/a> on surveillance of citizens.[8]<\/a><\/sup>[9]<\/a><\/sup>[10]<\/a><\/sup>[11]<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n

Despite issues in relationships between the USA and the rest of the Five Eyes, prophetically we expect that all of the Five Eyes will be taken over, probably within a decade.<\/p>\n

Biblically, those that compose the Five Eyes have a fraternal relationship (for details, check out the article Anglo – America in Prophecy & the Lost Tribes of Israel<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Notice that fraternal bond was also pointed to in a speech given by Winston Churchill on March 5, 1946:<\/p>\n

Fraternal Relationship between the USA & UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand?<\/a><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

The Chinese paper \u2018Global Times\u2019 has carried threats in 2011 and 2016 suggesting the China would militarily intervene against Australia. It has declared that Australia is a \u2018paper cat,\u2019 that China will get revenge against it, and that Australia would be no more. Is this possible? Are there biblical and other reasons to think that this threat is real? Dr. Thiel answers these questions and brings up the fact that he has been warning about this threat since last decade.<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Continental Europe is not in this Five Eyes club.\u00a0 It has wanted to be. And while those in Europe do not normally think that they will wish to destroy the USA (cf. Isaiah 10:7), the Bible shows that ultimately a primarily continental European power will (Isaiah 10:5-12; Daniel 11:39). The UK coming closer to the USA on Huawei is something that the EU does not care for. Plus, the EU is not going to get over the UK’s decision to leave the EU (Brexit).<\/p>\n

As far as the relationship of the Five Eyes to Europe, consider that the following prophecy shows that allies will be betrayed:<\/p>\n

The USA, UK (AKA “Great Britain”), and Canada (including the other Anglo-Saxon-Commonwealth nations) were \u201cgreat among the nations.\u201d And the Bible is clear that betrayal is coming from national FRIENDS!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

What about Australia and New Zealand?<\/p>\n

Although I personally was unaware of it until July 14, 2016, in February 1963, the old Radio Church of God earlier warned of a threat from Asia in general, and China in particular, to Australia:<\/p>\n

Simply because of her geographical situation, Australia is a land of opportunity<\/em>. Yes, OPPORTUNITY- opportunity for the teeming masses of Asia!<\/em> \u2026<\/p>\n

lndonesia is only ONE of Australia\u2019s worries!<\/p>\n

Still further to the north lies the sprawling mainland of Red China. Standing on the Baok of China, like a sentinel on the alert, is the booming, highly industrialized nation of Japan with its progressive millions!<\/p>\n

What if Britain Enters the Common Market?<\/strong> \u2026<\/p>\n

Should Great Britain enter the Common Market, as she has been busily trying to do … Australia and New Zealand<\/span> <\/span>would have to pay a large pay of the economic bill! …<\/p>\n

Faced with this potential effect of the Common Market-Australia has been FORCED to look hopefully toward ASIA for new and expanded outlets for its produce! \u2026<\/p>\n

Australia<\/em>, like all of Israel, is headed toward captivity!<\/em> \u2026<\/p>\n

Just as ancient Israel made the mistake of seeking to the Gentile nations for her protection, making pacts and treaties, instead of trusting in God-so is modern-day Israel guilty of the same sin! Australia at the present time is linked with Gentile nations as a member of SEATO, the Southeast Asian Treaty Organization. She like other nations of Israel, is looking to Gentile nations for protection from her potential enemies.<\/p>\n

This practice God condemns.<\/em> \u2026<\/p>\n

While the United States and Great Britain are faced with the prophesied revival of the \u201cbeast,\u201d a union of ten powerful nations in Europe, forming the rebuilding of the ancient Roman Empire, Australia may well be taken over by an entirely different<\/em> enemy! Australia, trying to populate and industrialize to stave off Communism<\/em>, may become the SLAVES OF COMMUNISTS! Well, Britain did enter the old Common Market and as the 1963 article indicated, Australia has become more and more dependent upon Asian markets. Furthermore, as the 1963 article suggested, Australia is becoming vulnerable for captivity from China. The same applies to New Zealand.<\/p>\n

Anyway, I expect problems in Australia and its eventual loss of sovereignty. I also expect New Zealand to lose its sovereignty. Though it is likely that the USA and UK will lose theirs first (Canada too, will lose its sovereignty).<\/p>\n

Being allied to the USA will not save Australia, Canada, New Zealand, or the UK.<\/p>\n
