Inc. and a number of other retailers now require shoppers to wear face coverings in their stores. &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>The retailers join others, including Starbucks Corp. <a class=\"qt-chip negative\" href=\"https:\/\/www.marketwatch.com\/investing\/stock\/SBUX?mod=MW_story_quote\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-track-hover=\"QuotePeek\" data-charting-symbol=\"STOCK\/US\/XNAS\/SBUX\">SBUX, -0.30%<\/a> and <a class=\"icon none\" href=\"https:\/\/www.marketwatch.com\/story\/rite-aid-to-require-customers-wear-face-coverings-joining-many-other-nationwide-retailers-2020-07-17?mod=article_inline\">Rite Aid Corp.<\/a> <a class=\"qt-chip negative\" href=\"https:\/\/www.marketwatch.com\/investing\/stock\/RAD?mod=MW_story_quote\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-track-hover=\"QuotePeek\" data-charting-symbol=\"STOCK\/US\/XNYS\/RAD\">RAD, -3.24%<\/a> that have recently put a <a class=\"icon none\" href=\"https:\/\/www.marketwatch.com\/story\/starbucks-will-require-face-coverings-in-all-company-owned-u-s-stores-starting-july-15-11594324071?mod=article_inline\">face mask policy<\/a> in place.<\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall is-loaded\">\n<p>Walmart Inc. &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>The company has more than 5,000 stores and clubs in the U.S.<\/p>\n<p>The five days will be used to alert customers, hang signs and train workers on new protocols, according to a <a class=\"icon none\" href=\"https:\/\/corporate.walmart.com\/newsroom\/2020\/07\/15\/a-simple-step-to-help-keep-you-safe-walmart-and-sams-club-require-shoppers-to-wear-face-coverings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">blog post<\/a> by Dacona Smith, chief operating officer of Walmart U.S., and Lance de la Rosa, chief operating officer of Sam\u2019s Club.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Publix and Kroger are grocery stores that also have announced similar mask rules.<\/p>\n<p>These mask rules are to essentially be nationwide, whether or not there are local or state ordinances mandating masks. Since the government or the retailers also mandate employees to wear masks, there is to be no selling without a mask.<\/p>\n<p>Certainly, this is a restriction of buying and selling. And since grocery stores have been added, this makes getting food more difficult unless one will wear a mask.<\/p>\n<p>Notice the following prophecy:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.<\/p>\n<p>18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666. But we are seeing more and more political hypocrisy in the USA. In California, they also decided to ignore scientific evidence that the death rate for children is less for COVID-19 than the seasonal flu, and hence declared this week that schools would not be open for classroom attendance. On Monday, the California Governor Gavin Newsom prohibited indoor church services.<\/p>\n<p>In its newsletter yesterday, CEG had the following:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3><strong>California Churches Have Had Enough with Gov. Newsom\u2019s Restrictions<\/strong> &#8230;<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cHarmeet Dhillon, a lawyer and Republican Party official\u2026 said she is considering a lawsuit over the singing restriction. Dhillon and other critics including Advocates for Faith &amp; Freedom and the National Center for Law and Policy said the church restrictions constitute <u>unequal treatment<\/u> when compared to recent crowds of demonstrators <u>protesting police violence<\/u> after the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis. \u2018If you\u2019re allowed to chant \u201cHey hey, ho ho, racism\u2019s got to go\u201d but you can\u2019t chant the liturgy, that\u2019s obviously <u>discriminatory<\/u>,\u2019 she said.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Again, the objections by church leaders to the governmental restrictions have NOTHING to do with liberal or conservative politics. At least, they should not have. Rather, they ought to be strictly based on God\u2019s commandments, which must be obeyed, if they are in conflict with man\u2019s laws or regulations. I<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><strong>New Restrictions by Gov. Newsom<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Fox News wrote on July 13:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCalifornia Gov. Gavin Newsom on Monday ordered a halt to\u00a0indoor activities at certain businesses statewide\u2026 Newsom, a Democrat, announced during a press briefing that all bars across the state must close\u2026 and that restaurants, wineries, tasting rooms, family entertainment centers, zoos, museums and card rooms must <u>suspend indoor activities<\/u>. The governor also announced that all gyms, <u>places of worship<\/u>, malls, personal care services, barbershops, salons, and <u>non-critical offices<\/u>\u00a0in counties on the state\u2019s \u2018monitoring list\u2019 had to shut down under the new order. The order affects more than 30 counties which are home to about 80 percent of California\u2019s population\u2026<\/p>\n<p>The Editorial Board of the Wall Street Journal wrote on July 14:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe evidence \u2014 scientific, health and economic \u2014 <u>argues overwhelmingly for\u00a0schools\u00a0to open in the fall<\/u>. Start with the relative immunity of young children to the disease, which should reassure parents. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 30 children under age 15 have died from COVID-19. In a typical year 190 children die of the flu, 436 from suicide, 625 from homicide, and 4,114 from unintentional deaths such as drowning.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201c<\/strong>Only two children under age 18 have died in Chicago \u2014 fewer than were killed in shootings in a recent weekend. In New York City, 0.03 percent\u00a0of children under age 18 have been hospitalized for Covid and 7.5 in one million have died. The death rate for those over 75 is more than 2,200-times higher than for those under 18.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>All these new measures, including the refusal to open schools, will BANKRUPT California [and other states] for sure and will destroy the financial survival of millions of people. <\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Allowing unpermitted unmasked protests, while closing churches and schools at the same time is more than inconsistent, it is hypocritical and wrong.<\/p>\n<p>The Bible warns:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>5 O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation.<\/p>\n<p>6 I will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.
