That’s more than five times the size of New York City. The COVID-19 pandemic hit the state particularly hard, fear of the virus sent the unemployment rate soaring, civil unrest has ripped permanent scars in most of the major cities, and earlier this month a historic heatwave caused rolling blackouts all over the state for the very first time since 2001. So California certainly didn\u2019t need anything else to deal with in 2020, because it has just been one thing after another all year long. Unfortunately, it looks like the massive wildfires that have been roaring across the state over the last week are about to get even worse. Is this not happening?<\/p>\n SIN HAS A COST!<\/p>\n DO NOT THINK THAT WEATHER ISSUES ARE LIMITED TO CALIFORNIA!<\/p>\n Notice also the following about heat:<\/p>\n 23 \u2018The whole land is brimstone, salt, and burning; it is not sown, nor does it bear, nor does any grass grow there, like the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah<\/strong>, Admah, and Zeboiim, which the Lord overthrew in His anger and His wrath.\u2019 24 All nations would say, \u2018Why has the Lord done so to this land? What does the heat of this great anger mean?\u2019 25 Then people would say: \u2018Because they have forsaken the covenant of the Lord God of their fathers\u2026(Deuteronomy 29:23-25)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n The Bible itself mentions fire as a tool that God sometimes uses. Here are some examples:<\/p>\n 11 The Lord said:<\/p>\n “Surely it will be well with your remnant; 12 O house of David! Thus says the Lord:<\/p>\n “Execute judgment in the morning; 13 “Behold, I am against you, O inhabitant of the valley, 11 The Lord has fulfilled His fury, 15 There the fire will devour you, My prayers are with those affected by the fires.<\/p>\n I, who also live in California, also pray that those in California will repent as worse problems are ahead if it continues to go in a moral direction away from the Bible. California set a bad standard when it became the first USA state to outlaw attempts to convert homosexuals from that ‘lifestyle’ (see California\u2019s Brown Signs Anti-Homosexual Conversion Bill<\/a>). Additionally, the State of California has made a bunch of anti-biblical anti-truth laws to promote the LGBTQ agenda (see \u2018California To Have Harsher Penalty For Pronoun Violations Than For Knowingly Spreading HIV\u2019<\/span><\/a> and Ba\u2019al-ifornia: California\u2019s intent to change gender definitions<\/a>).
