COGwriter<\/a><\/p>\n President Obama has once again indicated that he will not support biblical morality:<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n President Obama believes that the Defense of Marriage Act is unconstitutional and will no longer defend the 15-year-old law in federal court, the Justice Department announced today.<\/p>\n The decision, which stunned and delighted gay rights activists, means that the administration will withdraw its defense of ongoing suits in two federal appeals circuits and will leave it to Congress to defend the law against those challenges. It will remain a party to the lawsuits. The law itself remains in effect.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n DOMA, signed by President Clinton in 1995, allows states not to recognize same-sex marriages preformed in other states and provides a federal definition for \u201cmarriage\u201d that exempts same-sex couples.\u00a0 http:\/\/www.nationaljournal.com\/obama-won-t-go-to-court-over-defense-of-marriage-act-20110223<\/a><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n The US President, at least publicly, has always seemed sympathetic to the side of the homosexuals.\u00a0 He does not seem to think this is a problem.<\/p>\n Well, perhaps Barack Obama should remember what happened to the people of Sodom and Gomorrah.<\/p>\n Notice:<\/p>\n 24 Then the Lord rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, from the Lord out of the heavens. 25 So He overthrew those cities, all the plain, all the inhabitants of the cities, and what grew on the ground. (Genesis 19:24-25)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n And why did it happen?<\/p>\n 7 as Sodom and Gomorrah<\/strong>, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example<\/strong>, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. (Jude 7)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Why mention this in the 21st century? Because God turned:<\/p>\n 6\u2026the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes<\/strong>, condemned them to destruction, making them an example<\/strong> to those who afterward would live ungodly (2 Peter 2:6)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Thus, the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah were to serve as an example to those who would live as they did.\u00a0 Apparently those involved with the Pentagon\u2019s report overlooked the risks that the Bible warns about.<\/p>\n Barack Obama claims Christianity as his religion, but notice what the Apostle Paul was inspired to write:<\/p>\n 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man \u2014 and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.<\/p>\n 24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.<\/p>\n 26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.<\/p>\n 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, 30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.\u00a0 (Romans 1:18-32)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Of course, if there is no God, no morality, or such things, do what you want.\u00a0 But since there is a God, there is a risk.\u00a0 A risk that the USA will regret later.<\/p>\n Notice also the following Catholic prophecy:<\/p>\n Our blessed Mother through Father Gobbi of the Marion Movement\u2026provided several messages\u2026<\/p>\n On November 15, 1990: Mary spoke about the great trial coming to the United States and for all humanity.\u00a0The Blessed Mother specifically mentions the United States will know the hour of weakness and of poverty as well as \u201cthe hour of suffering and defeat\u201d.\u00a0The thunder of God\u2019s justice will have arrived:<\/p><\/blockquote>\n \u2026\u201d\u2026Sins of impurity have become ever more widespread, and immorality has spread like a sea which has submerged all things. Homosexuality, a sin of impurity which is against nature, has been justified\u2026The moment of divine justice and of great mercy has now arrived. You will know the hour of weakness and poverty; the hour of suffering and defeat; the purifying hour of the great chastisement\u2026\u201d America will know poverty and defeat! Sterling (VA), 1993pp. 341,342).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Although I do not believe that Jesus\u2019 mother Mary actually said the above (see Mary, the Mother of Jesus and the Apparitions<\/a>), nor has the Vatican accepted that particular apparition as valid (though Pope John Paul II did honor Priest Gobbi), perhaps I should add that even the demons know that the Bible condemns homosexuality, as well as the fact that the USA is prophesied to be destroyed.<\/p>\n The USA is in decline and even its military will NOT be able to defend it well enough a few years from now.\u00a0 The USA will be taken over and defeated, and its people made slaves.\u00a0 Yes, it will get that bad (and actually even worse than that).<\/p>\n To solve its real problems, the USA needs national repentance, not gay ‘marriage’. The USA needs repentance right now. The USA does not seem to realize that otherwise its days are numbered.
