David Pack, founder of the so-called Restored Church of God<\/a> (RCG) is a covetous man whose conversion I have long doubted. Pack has been making so many changes and erroneous predictions that some of his ministers can no longer handle the nonsense.<\/p>\n

This series has changed the entire landscape of, not only prophetic truth but also doctrinal truth. Strange, unusual, confusing, and dark teachings have been the result from this series. There have been over 100 changes to the precious truths that RCG once adhered to.<\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n

<\/u>\u00a0<\/u>Many of you know that something is wrong in RCG but do not know what to do. This is what He commands all Christians to do in Romans 16:17, it is what Mr. Armstrong instructed the Church members to do, and because Christ would not disobey His own command, it is what He would do as well. Therefore, once the heresies from the TGUS took root in RCG, Christ stopped leading this organization and it ceased from being the one true Church, the body of Christ. The following are a couple of helpful quotes from the teachings of the Philadelphia era of the Church of God:<\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n

<\/u>\u00a0<\/u>\u201cBefore Jesus answered His disciples as to WHEN the END of the age and His return would come, He warned them against FALSE MINISTERS, deceiving the many.\u00a0If possible, He said, they would deceive the VERY ELECT \u2014 YOU in God’s Church.<\/u><\/b><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n

<\/u>\u00a0<\/u>\u201cAs the Apostle Paul warned the elders at Ephesus: \u2018For I know this, that… grievous wolves shall enter in among you, not sparing the flock.\u00a0Also OF YOUR OWN SELVES<\/u><\/b>\u00a0[the ministers in God’s Church<\/u><\/b>]\u00a0shall men arise, speaking perverse things<\/u><\/b>, to draw away disciples after them. Therefore WATCH… \u2018! (Acts 20:29-31.)<\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n

<\/u>\u00a0<\/u>\u201cBrethren, could this BE God’s true Church, and such things not happen to us? This sort of thing DID HAPPEN to God’s TRUE CHURCH<\/u><\/b>\u00a0in the very first century. They only PROVE this is GOD’S Church which He is USING and blessing! But SATAN IS ANGRY.\u00a0Satan deceives even some from within us.<\/u><\/b>\u00a0They will falsely accuse.\u00a0They will MISLEAD with false doctrines which they will palm off as TRUTH!<\/u><\/b><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n

<\/u>\u00a0<\/u>\u201cBut honestly, now, WHAT DO YOU THINK? Wouldn’t it be all right to compromise, \u2018just a little,\u2019 on some \u2018unimportant minor point\u2019? Especially on some ostensibly unimportant point where we appear \u2018crazy\u2019 to the world.<\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n

<\/u>\u00a0<\/u>\u201cNevertheless, if we begin to compromise with God’s TRUTH, even in smallest, slightest manner, we have allowed Satan to get a foot into the door of the Church, and soon he will push open the door (he is stronger than we) and take over the whole Church.<\/u><\/b><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n

<\/u>\u00a0<\/u>\u201cA little leaven leavens the WHOLE LUMP! In my position, as chosen by the living CHRIST to be first under Him\u00a0in\u00a0<\/i>AUTHORITY over the Church and the Work, I have been charged with the commission of KEEPING GOD’S WORD. Keeping it inviolate \u2013 NO COMPROMISE! I have NEVER compromised with God’s TRUTH \u2013 regardless of the cost or the circumstances. I never shall!\u201d<\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n

<\/u>\u00a0<\/u>Let it be known that the individuals who introduce false doctrines, which are teachings that are contrary to the truth, are the ones responsible for causing division and not those who stand up for the truth (Romans 16:17).\u00a0<\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n

<\/u>\u00a0<\/u>And let there be no doubt that when a true minister or leader of the Church begins teaching error, i.e. doctrines contrary to the truths that were restored to the Church by Jesus Christ through His chosen apostle Mr. Armstrong, they disqualify themselves as men of truth (Exodus 18:21) and as ministers of the one true God. And the ministers that allow these individuals to deceive the members of the Church also disqualify themselves as ministers if they do not stand up for the truth. This is confirmed in the Word of God (II Corinthians 11:4, 13-15) and it is perfectly in line with what Mr. Armstrong taught the Church:<\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n

<\/u>\u00a0<\/u>\u201cA true minister of God must study, preach and live by EVERY word of God!\u00a0If a man tells you something that he knows disagrees with God’s revealed Word, he instantly disqualifies himself from being a true minister of Christ! Isaiah 8:20 and Matthew 4:4 confirm this!<\/u><\/b>\u201d<\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n

<\/u>\u00a0<\/u>\u201cIn the very beginning of the Church of God in the 1st<\/sup>\u00a0century, there were false apostles<\/u><\/b>\u00a0and there were those who went out from the Church for selfish gain or for revenge even as today. The apostle Paul speaking to the elders, which means the ministers of the Church of Ephesus said quote, \u2018Also of your own selves\u2019 that is speaking of you ministers \u2018shall men arise, speaking perverse things,<\/u><\/b>\u00a0to draw away disciples after them\u2019 Acts 20:30. That\u2019s exactly what happened\u2026<\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n

<\/u>\u00a0<\/u>\u201cTo the Church at Corinth Paul wrote, this is quoted from the Bible \u2018But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus\u2019 which they do. They don\u2019t preach the same Jesus. \u2018whom we have not preached, or\u00a0if<\/i>\u00a0ye receive another spirit\u2019\u00a0and they are of a different spirit<\/u><\/b>\u00a0\u2018which ye have not received, or another gospel \u2018another doctrine<\/u><\/b>\u2019 which ye have not accepted\u2019 II Corinthians 11:3-4.\u00a0<\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n

<\/u>\u00a0<\/u>\u201cNow\u00a0who was trying to turn these members of God\u2019s Church to<\/u><\/b>\u00a0some\u00a0watered down doctrine or other teaching.<\/u><\/b>\u00a0Paul says they were men serving Satan and therefore Satan\u2019s ministers. Notice, the same chapter, just a few verses later he says \u2018For such\u00a0are<\/i>\u00a0false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into\u2019 and that is professing themselves to be \u2018apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore\u00a0it is<\/i>\u00a0no great thing if his ministers\u2019 now notice that,\u00a0it is actually Satan\u2019s ministers, his ministers, perhaps even themselves deceived into believing they are serving Christ.<\/u><\/b>\u00a0But if Satan\u2019s ministers \u2018also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness\u2019,\u00a0these ministers will never admit they\u2019re Satan\u2019s ministers. They\u2019ll tell you they\u2019re ministers of Christ.<\/u><\/b>\u201d<\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n

<\/u>\u00a0<\/u>Some have asked, \u201cWhy would God allow heresy, false teachers or false prophets to infiltrate the one true Church?\u201d Although God has allowed this to happen, He is not the author of it. But God allows this to happen as a test for His people. It is a way that He can know whether you will follow the truth, and thus the living HEAD of the Church Jesus Christ, no matter the consequences.\u00a0<\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n

<\/u>\u00a0<\/u>\u201cWhy does God allow wolves to have access to His flock? Why doesn’t He expose them before they do any harm? He has His reasons!<\/u><\/b><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cThe first and most basic scripture about false prophets explains why. \u2018If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them; Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams:\u00a0for the Lord your God proveth you<\/u><\/b>, to know whether ye love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul\u2019 (Deut. 13:1-3).<\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n

\u201cGod wants his flock to stay with Him and the truth no matter what<\/u><\/b>.\u201d<\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n

Brethren of the one true God, a test such as this is meant to reveal your loyalty to the one true God. It is intended to establish your faithfulness to your Creator. And it is designed to develop the gold in your character that can only come from a trial such as this. But this will only happen if you \u201cearnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints\u201d, which are the truths that were established during the Philadelphia era of the Church by Jesus Christ (Revelation 3:8 & 10), the living HEAD of the Church, through His faithful apostle, Mr. Herbert W Armstrong.\u00a0<\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/s><\/p>\n

I was a minister in RCG who served in Florida and Texas from 2012 through 2019. My family and I left this organization in the spring of 2019 because of the many doctrinal changes that were a result from TGUS. We had to leave in order to stay in the truth and in the Church that is led by Jesus Christ. One final quote from Mr. Armstrong is in order as he instructs you on the course of action that you must take:\u00a0<\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n

\u201cWell, supposing that one even who has received the Holy Spirit changes his mind and wants to go off a different way<\/u><\/b>\u00a0and he begins to cause friction and trouble. Some will say \u2018Yeah, you are still going to have friction in the Church.\u2019 Oh, no. We are not, brethren. No we’re not! And I want to show you why.\u00a0<\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n

\u201cNext we have to turn back to Romans, the last chapter of Romans, the 16th chapter and verse 17 where Paul says; \u2018Now I beseech you, brethren,\u00a0mark them which cause divisions<\/u><\/b>\u00a0and offences\u00a0contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned<\/u><\/b>, and avoid them.\u2019<\/u><\/p>\n

<\/u>\u201cDifferent doctrines, they are causing division, they are causing trouble. That is what we had in the past.<\/u><\/b>\u00a0And the REASON that we had it was we said, \u2018Well, we must be more loving and more kind and more good than God and we must just leave them in among us.\u2019\u00a0God says, MARK THEM AND AVOID THEM. Now there are two ways we can avoid them, and only two that I know. One is if we leave them in the Church and we all go out, we’re no longer in the Church. The other is that we put them out, and we stay in.<\/u><\/b>\u201d<\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n

Before going further, let me state that RCG was NEVER the representative of the Philadelphian portion of the Church of God<\/a> (though until David Pack really went further off the deep-end, some were confused about that). Nor is Luis Garcia’s new group since he asserted otherwise.<\/p>\n

That being said, I have long expected David Pack’s RCG to implode and this is in the process of happening.<\/p>\n

I reported a couple of weeks ago about other losses at RCG at the News of those once affiliated with the Global Church of God<\/a><\/span> page.<\/p>\n

That being said, I have warned about David Pack for over a decade.<\/p>\n

He covets money and has long been overly focused on it.<\/p>\n

If civilization goes on long enough, I expect RCG to declare bankruptcy as well as to lose its properties in Wadsworth.<\/p>\n

The reality is that his ministers should have left a long time ago.<\/p>\n

It has been over seven years past the day that David Pack falsely claimed that all in the COGs would come to him. As I repeatedly pointed out in 2013, Spring and Summer, this was not going to happen.<\/p>\n

Why?<\/p>\n

Because David Pack simply did not trust Bible prophecy, but instead twisted it in ways it was not intended to be interpreted.<\/p>\n

Here is some of what David Pack said and\/or wrote about it in 2013 (the sermon comments were sent to me and I did not listen to that sermon myself):<\/p>\n

Details may begin<\/em> (and only begin<\/em>) to come into view on the first of the month of Elul (in God\u2019s calendar\u2014August 7 in the Roman Calendar). A more complete<\/em> picture will emerge by Elul 24 (August 30). Right now, all are urged to have in their thinking that they will be reassigned to a new nearby Feast site, and those who choose to return to the Body of Christ will attend with what becomes a much bigger organization<\/em>\u2014probably significantly bigger than the largest splinter! Next, the 2013 Feast of Tabernacles: This will also be among the most special and inspiring times in Church history. It will be a Feast of unity and harmony among all<\/em> of God\u2019s people. Everyone<\/em> will keep this joyous occasion as members of The Restored Church of God in scores of sites across the world. At this time, we have 21 sites, but we anticipate adding many<\/em> more. In some areas, former splinter brethren will attend our<\/em> current sites. In other locations, we will have to quickly add new ones. In still other areas, splinter sites will simply become Restored sites. The total number of Feast sites, and where they are, will depend entirely on how many brethren answer the \u201cstirring\u201d of Jesus Christ to return to His Church, and in what areas they live. How could so many things happen in 24 hours?<\/p>\n

Minute 26. Three men die- Elul 24, then everyone makes a decision that day.<\/p>\n

Minute 29. Certain things about this prophesy is very complex, others are very simple.<\/p>\n

Minute 30. No way everything could happen in one day.<\/p>\n

Minute 32. Do you care most how the 3 Shephard\u2019s die? In their sleep, by fire?<\/p>\n

Do you care who they are?<\/p>\n

If God tells us then I want to know otherwise it doesn\u2019t matter.<\/p>\n

You are going to find out how they die and who they are.<\/p>\n

Minute 33. I know their names 100% sure. Don\u2019t want the names out yet. Now I\u2019m certain I know.<\/p>\n

Do you care where it happens? I don\u2019t know where it will happen.<\/p>\n

I know how they die and who they are. I\u2019m certain.<\/p>\n

Minute 34. How about when they die? They die sooner then we thought.<\/p>\n

Do they die together or separately. I know they die together.<\/p>\n

Two culminating events. The death of these men is the first. The central point is God is going to bring his people back together\/unify his people.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In 2013, David Pack also claimed:<\/p>\n

\n

Saturday, August 31 will be a Sabbath unlike any other in history. It will be the first time in decades that all of God\u2019s people around the world will be meeting together in the same locations for services. Words cannot describe the excitement and happiness that will be everywhere<\/em> soon after this reunification. In many areas, much of or possibly even entire congregations might \u201croll over\u201d into The Restored Church of God. Brethren will have had weeks to prepare for this and to \u201cconsider their ways\u201d before God. Those who come will have been led<\/em> to return to the Body of Christ the day before<\/em> this Sabbath. Reread this last sentence.<\/p>\n

Realize that a host of logistical details must be worked out for this to occur. God has been planning this event for thousands of years\u2014at least<\/em> 3,000\u2014and His Church has been preparing for it for almost a year. Headquarters and our ministers will be ready<\/em> to receive potentially a great many phone calls from splinter ministers and members even in the days and weeks before<\/em> August 31. Of course, this simply did not happened. David Pack also claimed that God revealed to him that he was Joshua about five years ago. Yet, while the “god of this world” (2 Corinthians 4:4, KJV) may have done that, it certainly was not the Creator God of the Bible!<\/p>\n

Notice what David Pack posted after it did not happen in 2013:<\/p>\n

I will explain a week after the Feast EXACTLY what was misunderstood about the prophecy\u2019s timing. It appears we will not be waiting a long time\u2014not another year\u2014for its fulfillment. Of course, it still did not happen and will not happen. The Philadelphian remnant of the COG<\/a> will not become part of RCG and certainly has not done so by the dates that David Pack pointed to. The changes required by RCG would be massive for something like that to possibly happen (David Pack would have to repent, RCG would have to change focus, RCG would have to change doctrine, etc.).<\/p>\n

If people think that David Pack is past his dreams of delusion here, think again. In August of 2016, RCG still had at its website, something David Pack put up earlier in 2015:<\/p>\n

A Vital Open Letter to All WCG Splinters<\/h5>\n

Identifying God\u2019s Church, Truth and Work …<\/h2>\n

We expect to see thousands of you soon in The Restored Church of God. God has long planned to reunify what would become His scattered people at the end of the age.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The above from RCG shows that 1) RCG does not understand the message to the churches in Revelation 2 & 3 which does NOT allow for the type of reunification that David Pack is proclaiming and 2) that RCG is still clinging to the same nonsense it claimed would happen in 2013, and when it did not happen, indicated possibly would for 2014 and still is something RCG is hoping for in 2017. No matter how much David Pack insists on error, it does not change error into truth.<\/p>\n

The distinction turns on which church has the full truth and much fruit to back up claims that God leads it, not to mention that this<\/em> Church still must believe there IS only one Church.<\/p>\n

Soon, all<\/em> of God\u2019s people will know what The Restored Church of God is. They will come to remember and recognize the Church that is the same as the one they used to know<\/em>. They will return to it, or refuse and quench God\u2019s Spirit forever. No one else is telling Christ\u2019s brethren (YOU) this. This is in part<\/em> because all other leaders have forgotten what God\u2019s Church looks like<\/em>. …<\/p>\n

You have been duly warned.<\/p>\n

I state emphatically, on God\u2019s authority, that every last person\u2014member or minister\u2014throughout the world who is determined not to lose God\u2019s Spirit\u2014certainly many<\/em> thousands\u2014is coming to The Restored Church of God.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Actually, the Bible does not teach that all true Christians will be in the same corporate organization in the end. Revelation 2 & 3 show that there will be Thyatirans<\/a>, Sardisians<\/a>, Philadelphians<\/a>, and many Laodiceans<\/a> in the end, and the implication in the original Greek is that the Laodiceans will be in different organizations.<\/p>\n

It should be stated that people will NOT lose God’s Spirit by not coming into RCG like David Pack has claimed. Actually, since RCG is led by someone I doubt is truly in the Church of God, the risk of losing God’s Spirit tends to increase for those who do support RCG.<\/p>\n

Despite David Pack’s appeals to writings from Herbert Armstrong, Herbert Armstrong never felt that those of Sardis were prophesied to come into the same organization as the Philadelphians, he believed the opposite.<\/p>\n

In 2017, in part 65 of his The Greatest Untold Story!<\/em> <\/span>series, David Pack asserted:<\/p>\n

Now, we read and heard last week and the time before, there\u2019s a period of 45 days from 1,335 until the 1,290 when the Man of Sin sends his system and his representatives directly into the Church, and the fire explodes in intensity on the Church, because after 45 days, there\u2019s a group of people that didn\u2019t buy in and there\u2019s another group working with them. Now God allows some of them to die. We understand that some get slain. Some get killed, James said\u2026They\u2019re called the flock of slaughter; we know all those verses\u2026but most, I would hope, do not.<\/span> …<\/p>\n

Obviously, we\u2019ll have 45 days to tell the splinters, \u201cIf you think it\u2019s bad now, wait a month and a half,\u201d and to get them ready so they have a maximum chance when tremendous<\/em> pressure comes on them\u2014tremendous miracles and power<\/em> and fear<\/em>\u2014and maybe even, they see some people they know and love die\u2014that they not collapse. Because remember, God\u2019s overall purpose is that they pass\u2014that they make it.<\/span><\/p>\n

I can\u2019t imagine going into Jerusalem and not saying things to the leaders there\u2026\u201cThis is the wrong guy. The right one will be along shortly.\u201d But there\u2019ll even be another one that\u2019s wrong called the prince of Tyre and the king of the North, and we\u2019ll get into get into that more I hope next week. I can\u2019t imagine not going to certain Israelite nations during this period, before Christ comes to sit on David\u2019s throne, and telling the leaders of Israelite nations\u2026I mean, I just can\u2019t imagine. I had a long time to think about this\u2026and certain things are not said to the leaders of those particular nations that things are about to change. There\u2019s a new ruler coming\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

If I\u2019m given the authority to rule them\u2026Think of Matthew 24<\/a> and we are, we\u2019re not going to work with them in 400 hundred groups\u2026I\u2019m going to tell them, \u201cGuess what, today you\u2019re in one organization\u201d and they will be looking for help. They\u2019ll\u2026Absolutely, they all want to be together. Not the ones who aren\u2019t converted, who are going to follow what I call the \u201cspiritual sleeper cells.\u201d They were appointed to this ungodliness when they crept in unawares long ago and then they rise up to do their evil according to Acts 20<\/a>, verse 30<\/a>, when Christ says, \u201csome will rise among you\u201d and so forth. Those people are not going to agree and the people who follow them aren\u2019t going to agree, but thousands of brethren are going to be looking for direction. Maybe with or without their own ministers, so, you know, we will be in a position to say a lot of\u2026a lot of things that I hope will be very, very helpful.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

David Pack originally stated all would be under him seven years ago. He was wrong as that did not happen. He has also gone the wrong way on the man of sin (see also Who is the Man of Sin of 2 Thessalonians 2?<\/a>).<\/p>\n

He also made a claim in a video in late July 2015 that all would come with him. RCG\u2019s David Pack<\/a> released a pompous false and arrogant video titled The Coming Signal to God\u2019s People<\/em>. In this seven-minute diatribe, David Pack claims that thousands in the Churches of God will be led by God\u2019s Spirit to unite with him.<\/p>\n

David Pack said that there will be a single event that will be impossible for those in the COGs to miss. He then gave three signals supposedly which prove this is about to happen:<\/p>\n

  1. Based on Zechariah 11:14, David Pack claims that there will be \u2018a full rupture\u2019 between the USA and Israel and this is something to watch for.<\/li>\n
  2. That because of its (often false) literature, websites, staff, and headquarters, that RCG is ready for the coming influx of thousands that will lead to an unbelievable work. Well, I certainly do not believe that David Pack is leading God\u2019s end time work<\/a>, so in that sense it is unbelievable. David Pack claims that Wadsworth will soon be \u2018everybody\u2019s headquarters.\u2019 That is not true. David Pack wants people to \u2018walk by sight related to his campus that he claims is so magnificent that it \u2018staggers the imagination.\u2019 Yet, the Bible says Christians are to walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7)\u2013which is the opposite of what David Pack is essentially teaching.<\/li>\n
  3. David Pack claims that it is so obvious that world events have sped up, that God must do something with RCG soon. He claims that the time when no man can work, John 9:4, is getting close. While it is relatively close, RCG is not doing that work (see also Preparing for the \u2018Short Work\u2019 and The Famine of the Word<\/a>).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Let me add here that David Pack has misunderstood God\u2019s work for a long time and falsely acts like the main RCG work is to draw COG members from other groups to RCG.<\/p>\n

    In the video, David Pack said that all (presumably other COG) leaders will call his message false. Well, his message is false. Yet, David Pack claims that all will realize that it is true.<\/p>\n

    David Pack then boldly stated that all COG members say that they all want to get together, to reunify. That is NOT the case. I, for one, do NOT believe that the COGs should all reunify. The Book of Revelation is clear that there will be multiple COG groups around at the time of the end.     4. The Thyatira Church Era<\/a> was predominant circa 1050 A.D. to circa 1600 A.D. The Church during the Inquisition.
    \n5.     The Sardis Church Era<\/a> was predominant circa 1600 A.D. to circa 1933 A.D. Discusses early history of the Seventh Day Baptists, Seventh-day Adventists, and COG-7th Day.
    \n6.     The Philadelphia Church Era<\/a> was predominant circa 1933 A.D. to 1986 A.D. The old Radio Church of God and old Worldwide Church of God, now the remnant of that era is basically the most faithful in the Church of God, like who hold to the beliefs and practices of the Continuing<\/a><\/em> Church of God<\/a>.
    \n7.     The Laodicean Church Era <\/a>has been predominant circa 1986 A.D. to present. The Laodiceans are non-Philadelphians who mainly descended from the old WCG or its offshoots. They do not properly understand the work or biblical prophecies and will face the Great Tribulation<\/a> if they do not repent.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

    David Pack ignores what the Bible teaches about unity. Just like Pope Francis, David Pack does not realize that unity of the faith will not happen until after Jesus returns. He and his followers need to properly study and understand Zechariah 2:6-12 and other scriptures.<\/p>\n

    Anyway, in the video, David Pack also misinterprets Habakkuk 1:5. He then claimed when God intervenes with RCG, you will see this as it will be \u2018impossible to miss.\u2019 He closed his video with the following statement:<\/p>\n

    Do not worry about missing the signal\u2013you won\u2019t.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

    Yet, the main signal to notice about David Pack is the following prophecy written by the Apostle Peter:<\/p>\n

    1 But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. 2 And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. 3 By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber. (2 Peter 2:1-3)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

    David Pack has long used \u2018covetous words\u2019 and is a false teacher. He is NOT God\u2019s apostle nor the Elijah<\/a> to come as he now also claims. David Pack\u2019s prior prophesies related to reunification have been shown to be false in the past and will be so in the future. There is NO WAY that thousands of Philadelphian Christians<\/a> will become part of RCG. David Pack’s “empire” will one day fall. See also the article Why Not the Restored Church of God?<\/a><\/p>\n

    Back in 2017, I warned:<\/p>\n

    David Pack is NOT a true watchman (watch also Go, Set a Watchman<\/a>). David Pack will again be proven false.<\/p>\n

    Most in the COGs who hear about this \u2018coming signal\u2019 will realize that David Pack is wrong.<\/p>\n

    But David Pack, in my view, remains delusional, as do many who still support him.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

    On January 30, 2015, RCG posted the following from David Pack:<\/p>\n

    I am posting a new message, \u201cThe MASS HEALING of God\u2019s People\u2014Just Ahead!\u201d A spectacular, divine promise has been hidden in God\u2019s Word, lost until it was God\u2019s time to reveal it with 29 PLAIN PROOFS. This message explains\u2014and conclusively PROVES!\u2014that part of God\u2019s \u201crestoration of all things\u201d (Matt. 17:11) involves completely healing ALL brethren who choose to return to His Church when He reunifies it. …<\/p>\n

    His Plan is MUCH BIGGER and begins MUCH SOONER!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

    Do RCG members not yet realize that this was not true? David Pack does not understand important aspects of biblical prophecy and continues to make outlandish claims that are not correct. He has admitted that he is not a prophet in the past (though he now falsely claims to be the ‘Elijah<\/a>‘) and he still is not a prophet of God. Cannot those in RCG see the truth?<\/p>\n

    He made claims in 2020 about Jesus coming no later than the end of the Feast of Tabernacles\/Last Great Day in 2020.<\/p>\n

    That did not happen.<\/p>\n

    Thousands of years ago, the Prophet Daniel was asked to interpret some handwriting that was written on a wall by only a hand that the king of Babylon personally witnessed (which is why he ultimately called Daniel to see it). The moral trend in that kingdom was not good according to Daniel (Daniel 5:22-23). After stating that, here is the interpretation that the prophet Daniel gave of that handwriting on the wall:<\/p>\n

    24 Then the fingers of the hand were sent from Him, and this writing was written.<\/p>\n

    25 \u201cAnd this is the inscription that was written:<\/p>\n

    MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN.<\/p>\n

    26 This is the interpretation of each word. Mene: God has numbered your kingdom, and finished it; 27 Tekel: You have been weighed in the balances, and found wanting; 28 Peres: Your kingdom has been divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.\u201d (Daniel 5:24-28)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

    That kingdom was taken over that very night (Daniel 5:30-31).<\/p>\n

    While this was not a prophecy of David Pack, let’s look at the words on the wall and apply them to him:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Mene<\/strong>: Your days being on the top as you view yourself are numbered. Perhaps in the next three or so years.<\/li>\n
    2. Mene<\/strong>: Despite signs of your failure, will you finally publicly repent that your understanding of Haggai and Zechariah are wrong, or instead will you take steps to speed your decline up? Will you finally repent?<\/li>\n
    3. Tekel<\/strong>: Your false interpretation of scripture and beliefs about yourself have been weighed in the balances, and found wanting.<\/li>\n
    4. Peres\/Upharsin<\/strong>: Your empire will some day be divided by those who will see more of the truth and leave and those who will accept your provably blatant falsehoods and stay. That cannot be the type of Church that God would want.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Now, a story I often like to tell people is the old story about the Emperor who had no clothes. Basically, the Emperor was very vain about his outward appearance, and some shysters persuaded him to give them a lot of money to make the finest clothes. Somewhat similarly, David Pack wanted to build a facility so fine that all the “splinters” would see it and marvel–and he has built something that he<\/em><\/strong> has marveled about, yet Philadelphia-remnant Christians<\/a> and even most of the Laodicean Christians <\/a>are not impressed by it. In the story, the Emperor agreed to do this and then hold a public parade once the clothes were ready.<\/p>\n

      The shysters persuaded the Emperor and his supporters that the clothes that they were to make would be so fine that only those unworthy of their positions in life could not see them. When the shysters pretended to supply fine clothes to the Emperor (which in reality was absolutely nothing), the Emperor and his staff commented about how fine the clothes were (the staff apparently worried about losing their jobs or influence if they told the truth out loud). The Emperor then took off his clothes and pretended to put the new “clothes” on. He then went outside and walked in a public parade. A small boy, seeing the Emperor, shouted out, “The Emperor is naked. The Emperor has no clothes!”<\/p>\n

      People tried to shut the boy up. One or more in the audience said to him, “Boy, you are not worthy of your position as you cannot see these fine clothes.” Others said, “Wait, he is only a small boy. Of course, he is worthy of his position of simply being a boy. The Emperor is naked.” Then, when the crowd realized that no one saw the non-existent clothes, they laughed and laughed. The Emperor was extremely humiliated.<\/p>\n

      People finally accepted the facts. And the facts are that David Pack has repeatedly been false.<\/p>\n

      Can those in RCG now see that David Pack is NOT GOD’S Apostle?<\/p>\n

      David Pack seemed to believe that if he had a new headquarters’ building that this would be enough to get people to come to him and that this was God’s plan. But it was never God’s plan, but rather the imagination and vanity of David Pack and many of his followers. Can they see the truth now or how many more false interpretations from David Pack will it take? Or is this four-year anniversary going to pass with people simply hoping that one day David Pack will be right about this?<\/p>\n

      David Pack’s interpretations and predictions about what was supposed to happen remain wrong.<\/p>\n

      If you are in RCG, can you see that your “emperor” is prophetically naked (which is my opinion of what his improper interpretations show)? Can you see the handwriting on the RCG wall?<\/p>\n

I could wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. 17 Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’ \u2014 and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked \u2014 18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. (Revelation 3:15-19)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

      Turning to God is the only answer–and it is not just those in RCG that need to do that. This is something you can do. Do not let your own vanity get in the way. David Pack is wrong.<\/p>\n
