Seven years after being launched by President Xi Jinping, first in Astana and then in Jakarta, the New Silk Roads, or Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) increasingly drive the American plutocratic oligarchy completely nuts.<\/strong> …<\/p>\n

BRI became the new game in town in terms of infrastructure building \u2013 offering an alternative to the imperial footprint.<\/p>\n

The Chinese model allows all manner of parallel taxes, sales, rents, leases \u2013 and profits. This means extra sources of income for host governments \u2013 with an important corollary: freedom from the hardcore neoliberal diktats of IMF\/World Bank. This is what is at the heart of the notorious Chinese \u201cwin-win\u201d.<\/p>\n

Moreover, BRI\u2019s overall strategic focus on infrastructure development not only across Eurasia but also Africa encompasses a major geopolitical game-changer.<\/strong> BRI is positioning vast swathes of the Global South to become completely independent from the Western-imposed debt trap. …<\/p>\n

Atlanticists are desperate because the \u201csystem of alliance diplomacy\u201d is on the wane.<\/strong> The overwhelming majority of the Global South is now being reconfigured as a newly energized Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) \u2013 as if Beijing had found a way to revive the\u00a0Spirit of Bandung in 1955<\/a>. …<\/p>\n

1. A so-called \u201cPacific Deterrence Initiative (PDI), code for containment of China in the Indo-Pacific by boosting the Quad.<\/p>\n

2. Massive counter-intel operations.<\/p>\n

3. An offensive against \u201cdebt diplomacy\u201d. That\u2019s nonsense: BRI deals are voluntary, on a win-win basis, and open to renegotiation. Global South nations privilege them because loans are low-interest and long-term.<\/p>\n

4. Restructuring global supply chains which lead to the US. Good luck with that. Sanctions on China will remain in place.<\/p>\n

5. Across the board pressure forcing nations not to use Huawei 5G.<\/p>\n

6. Reinforcing Hong Kong and Taiwan as Trojan Horses to destabilize China.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe has already\u00a0set the tone<\/a>: \u201cBeijing intends to dominate the US and the rest of the planet economically, militarily and technologically\u201d. New law allows Australia to scrap China Belt and Road plans<\/h2>\n

Prime Minister Scott Morrison has new powers to veto or scrap agreements that state governments reach with foreign powers under laws that could stymie China\u2019s Belt and Road Initiative in Australia and further inflame tensions between the trading partners.<\/p>\n

The laws passed by Parliament on Tuesday will give the foreign minister the ability to stop new and previously signed agreements between overseas governments and Australia\u2019s eight states and territories, and with bodies such as local authorities and universities.<\/p>\n

Morrison\u2019s government will be able to block or curtail foreign involvement in a broad range of sectors such as infrastructure, trade cooperation, tourism, cultural collaboration, science, health and education, including university research partnerships. An early target is likely to be an agreement the Victoria state government signed in 2018 to join President Xi Jinping\u2019s signature infrastructure-building BRI.<\/p>\n

The laws could further worsen ties between Australia and its largest trading partner, which have been in free fall since April, when the prime minister called for an independent probe into the origins of the coronavirus. Beijing has since inflicted a range of trade reprisals, including imposing crippling tariffs on Australian barley and wine while blocking coal shipments. …<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for China\u2019s Ministry of Foreign Affairs late Tuesday urged Canberra to take \u201can objective and logical view on the \u2018Belt and Road\u2019 initiative and refrain from creating obstacles that prevent normal communication between China and Australia.\u201d https:\/\/www.aljazeera.com\/economy\/2020\/12\/9\/australia-2<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Yes, there are concerns in the USA and Australia. Yet, understand that Chinese investments in its Belt and Road Initiative can be helpful to Iran and many nations around the world.<\/p>\n

As far as the comment that there is “speculation that the PLA would be granted bases in Iran and be allowed to station troops in Iranian territory,” this is of some prophetic interest.<\/p>\n

While BRI will face various obstacles, China’s Silk Road project looks to be supportive of some biblical prophecies.<\/p>\n

Consider that some of the BRI infrastructure will be accessible to troops that could be to be used to get to them closer to Armageddon. Notice the following prophecy:<\/p>\n

NBC reports that China intends to spend one trillion dollars to build roads, bridges, railroads, and maritime facilities to reach from China to Europe and China to the Middle East. Over 60 nations, including Russia, are involved with this. Could this Silk Road project possibly produce thoroughfares that could be used by troops that will amass at Armageddon? While it is true that the Silk Road project increases China’s economic and political influence, consider also the reality that most roads go both ways. And that certainly will be the case for those involved in this project.<\/p>\n

Since the Bible teaches that it will be Europe that will dominate world trade, Italy\u2019s, Greece’s, and Portugal’s agreed-to involvement in the BRI looks to be a way that Europe will get access to markets in Asia and Africa. Europe has a long history of trading with Asia and is prophesied to continue to do so.<\/p>\n

Consider that the Bible teaches the following about an end time European power:<\/p>\n

And, in population, the European Union is actually larger than that of the USA.<\/p>\n
