COGwriter<\/a><\/p>\n The SGT Report had the following:<\/p>\n December 23, 2020<\/p>\n The Black Lives Matter umbrella group Detroit Will Breathe sued Detroit, alleging police abuse of force during the George Floyd riots in the city this past summer. A judge granted a restraining order in September but the city responded with a countersuit, claiming that the Black Lives Matter group organized a \u201ccivil conspiracy\u201d to riot, destroy property, and disturb the peace.<\/p>\n According to\u00a0Detroit\u2019s countersuit<\/a>, the protesters \u201cillegally, maliciously, and wrongfully conspired with one another with the intent to and for the illegal purpose of disturbing the peace, engaging in disorderly conduct, inciting riots, destroying public property, resisting or obstructing officers in charge of duty, and committing acts of violence against [the city] and [Detroit Police Department] officers.\u201d<\/p>\n The suit claims that police officers and the City of Detroit \u201csustained injuries and damages\u201d including physical injuries, pain and suffering, property damage, loss of business opportunities, and more. The city asks the court to award \u201cgeneral and compensatory damages equal to\u201d the losses the city sustained, along with punitive damages, a judgment the Black Lives Matter group illegally conspired, and attorneys\u2019 fees. https:\/\/www.sgtreport.com\/2020\/12\/tables-turned-detroit-sues-black-lives-matter-group-for-civil-conspiracy-to-riot-and-attack-police\/<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n BLM has upset various ones that it seemed to have had as allies this past year–and it looks like it added the City of Detroit to its list.<\/p>\n This year, we have seen the flames of violent protest being fanned by the media, academia, criminals, racists, violent police actions, and various government officials.<\/p>\n The slogan, “No justice, no peace” may seem well meaning, but it often pushes violence.<\/p>\n Violence is not the answer to violence.<\/p>\n Jesus spoke of a time of troubles (Mark 13:8) and violence (Matthew 24:6-7). The Book of Revelation tells of the time of the ride of the red horseman of war.<\/p>\n In December 2019, I posted an article titled 20 items to prophetically watch in 2020<\/a>. Here is something from number 7 of those items:<\/p>\n Notice how the Orthodox Jewish Bible translates the first half of Matthew 24:7:<\/p>\n For there will be an intifada of ethnic group against ethnic group, …<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n We expect to see more wars, rumors of war, and civil unrest.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n We are seeing this. “Intifada” essentially means rebellion or uprising. We have seen that in these recent protests and riots.<\/p>\n Some people seem to want race wars (including some in BLM as well as groups that oppose it), though most in the USA (irrespective of race) do not.<\/p>\n When I see people justify setting fires and other violence to protest, the following scriptures come to mind:<\/p>\n 17 Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. 18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. 19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. 20 Therefore<\/p>\n “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. (Romans 12:17-21)<\/p>\n 1 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. (1 Timothy 2:1-4)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n We are to do good as well as pray that we may lead a quiet and peaceful life, while understanding that we are not to take revenge.<\/p>\n Rioters, violent agitators, and looters do not accept these scriptures. Notice also the following scriptures:<\/p>\n 14 “Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.” As far as racial protests and police matters go, at risk of repeat (since I put this up a few times this year) notice something from the old Radio Church of God, many decades ago, written by the late Garner Ted Armstrong:<\/p>\n \u201cPOLICE BRUTALITY!\u201d \u201cPoverty!\u201d \u201cUnequal opportunity!\u201d \u201cIlliteracy!\u201d \u201cPoor housing!\u201d \u201cPolice Chief Parkerl\u201d These are hurled back and forth as causes of the race riots in Los Angeles. Read, in this article, the REAL cause, and the powder keg of violence that could explode where YOU live! \u2026<\/p>\n The cause: HUMAN NATURE. And remember, once again, just what IS human nature ! Human nature is a mixture of vanity, jealousy, lust and greed. Jeremiah was inspired to write, \u201cThe heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it\u201d (Jer. 17:9).<\/p>\n James said it is the NATURE of man to rebel, to riot, to fight wars! \u201cFrom whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not , because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts\u201d (Jas. 4:1-3).<\/p>\n The Bible is the book about human nature. It explains what human nature really IS, how it is hostile and angry toward law. The apostle Paul said, \u201cBecause the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be!\u201d (Rom. 8 :7.) And the lusts, jealousies, resentments and frustrations of human nature are not limited to any one race. But they are most assuredly aggravated by race hatred. \u2026<\/p>\n Racial tensions in the United States are being aggravated during these modern times, not quieted. Bigotry and bias are INCREASING, not decreasing. \u2026<\/p>\n The plain truth of the matter is that the family is breaking down and disintegrating among all racial communities, around the world!<\/p>\n And remember, too, that Almighty God seriously indicts His people ISRAEL, more than any others for this breakdown in the family! He said, through Isaiah, \u201cAs for MY people [and he was referring to the House of Israel !], children are their oppressors, and women rule over them, o my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths\u201d (Isa. 3:12). ..broken homes-that is, homes in which one or the other parent is absent! And what effect would this have on the morals, the character, the education, the economic status of all these children?<\/p>\n The Watts riot is one resounding answer! \u2026<\/p>\n Whether we like to believe it or not, your Bible prophesies we are headed for some of the bloodiest riots, mass uprisings, and rampant crime in our big cities that this world has ever seen! \u2026<\/p>\n To a certain degree, the only reason THOUSANDS more humans do not openly steal, rob, burn or kill is the FEAR OF REPRISAL! They fear being CAUGHT at it. But when it seems EVERYONE ELSE is suddenly defying the law, it\u2019s much easier for many people who normally might not steal to suddenly give into their inherent nature! \u2026<\/p>\n Human nature IS hate, animosity toward authority, jealousy, vanity, lust and greed! Human nature IS intolerant. It is biased! It is filled with SELF, and terribly bigoted! And human nature is not limited to one race!<\/p>\n Dr . Robert M. Page once said, \u201cSo long as we have human nature, we shall have war.\u201d<\/p>\n But God\u2019s Word revealed the basic truth of that statement centuries before. James asks, \u201cFrom whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts\u201d (Jas. 4 : 1-3). \u2026<\/p>\n When a white man murders, he is a white murderer. And when a black man murders, he is a black murderer. The color of a man\u2019s skin is only one more description of him as a person, as a human being- like his height, weight, shape, place of birth or age. But whether he is white or black, red, pink, polka dotted or blue-if he breaks the law, if he resists arrest, if he loots, robs, kills or steals, then he is guilty of LAWBREAKING – NOT \u201cguilty\u201d merely because he is a member of one race or another. (Matthew 12:25)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n We are seeing more divide in the USA and parts of it certainly appear to be intentional. Much of it is ideological. The USA is becoming less and less united and more polarized.<\/p>\n This will not end well for the USA (cf.
