Sudan says it signed ‘Abraham Accords’ with US<\/h2>\n

January 6, 2021<\/p>\n

Sudan on Wednesday said it signed the \u201cAbraham Accords\u201d with the U.S., paving the way for the African country to normalize ties with Israel.<\/p>\n

A statement from the office of Sudan\u2019s prime minister said Justice Minister Nasredeen Abdulbari signed the accord Wednesday with visiting U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin.<\/p>\n

The recent U.S.-negotiated deals between Arab countries and Israel have been a major foreign policy achievement by President Donald Trump\u2019s administration. The deals were named the \u201cAbraham Accords\u201d after the biblical patriarch revered by Muslims and Jews.<\/p>\n

The signing came just over two months after Trump announced that Sudan would start to normalize ties with Israel.<\/p>\n

Before Sudan, the Trump administration engineered diplomatic pacts late last year between Israel and the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain \u2014 the first since Jordan recognized Israel in the 1990s and Egypt in the 1970s. Morocco also established diplomatic ties with Israel.<\/p>\n

The agreements are all with countries that are geographically distant from Israel and have played a minor role, if any, in the Arab-Israeli conflict.<\/p>\n

The accords have also contributed to the severe isolation and weakening of the Palestinians by eroding a longstanding Arab consensus that recognition of Israel should only be given in return for concessions in the peace process. https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/donald-trump-abdel-fattah-el-sissi-condoleezza-rice-omar-al-bashir-egypt-6075c85c6ffc7183e9be584da428bad7<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Many in the USA and Europe want the Arab and other Muslim-dominated nations to get together and make a peace deal with Israel.<\/p>\n

The Bible shows that a confederation of mainly Arabic peoples, with some from other Muslim dominated lands (like Sudan), will get together.<\/p>\n

They will be led by one that Daniel 11 calls the King of the South<\/a>:<\/p>\n

40 \u201cAt the time of the end the king of the South shall attack him; and the king of the North shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter the countries, overwhelm them, and pass through. 41 He shall also enter the Glorious Land, and many countries shall be overthrown; but these shall escape from his hand: Edom, Moab, and the prominent people of Ammon. 42 He shall stretch out his hand against the countries, and the land of Egypt shall not escape. 43 He shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt; also the Libyans and Ethiopians shall follow at his heels. Now, it should be noted that \u201cEthiopians\u201d is a mistranslation. The Hebrew word is \u05db\u05e9\u05c1\u05d9\u05dd, transliterated into our characters as \u201ckush\u0131\u0302ym.\u201d<\/p>\n

Barnes\u2019 Notes on the Bible<\/em> states:<\/p>\n

Hebrew, Cushites \u2013 \u05db\u05e9\u05c1\u05d9\u05dd kush\u0131\u0302ym\u2026 The reference here, undoubtedly, is to the African Cush \u2026<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The word Cushi, also spelled Kushi (Hebrew: \u05db\u05d5\u05e9\u05d9\u200e) is a Hebrew term generally used to refer to a dark-skinned person usually of African descent. (Cushi, Wikipedia, accessed 12\/15\/15)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The late WCG evangelist Raymond McNair (who was also once part of GCG) wrote:<\/p>\n

Daniel 11 also mentions some of the Mideast peoples who will be involved in that struggle among the nations at the close of this age. The belligerents will include the \u201cKing of the North,\u201d the leader of the European Union (or its final outgrowth, called the \u201cBeast\u201d). The \u201cKing of the South\u201d (an Islamic leader\u2014apparently from Egypt {or} some other Muslim state) is also referred to. The following lands\/peoples are specifically mentioned: Egypt, the Holy Land (Israel\/Palestine), the Ethiopians (modern Cushites, south of Egypt), Libya, Edom, Moab and Ammon. Many descendants of the ancient peoples known as Edomites or Idumeans now live in the West Bank, Jordan, Iraq, Turkey, Syria, Arabia, Yemen, the Persian Gulf states, etc. (McNair R. Notice that Raymond McNair realized that the term translated as Ethiopians really means the Cushite peoples. Sudan is a land basically south of Egypt\u2013it is mainly Arabic, but with \u2018Cushites\u2019 as well. Others have said that the Cushites basically mean dark-skinned people, hence this could include peoples from Sudan, South Sudan (which is less Arabic than Sudan itself), Somalia (sometimes called Eastern Cushites), and many of the other Islam-dominated nations in Africa.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, notice how the GTW renders verse 43:<\/p>\n

43 He will control gold and silver treasures and all Egypt’s treasuries. Libya and Sudan will surrender to him. (Daniel 11:43, GTW)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Yes, the Sudanese Cushites are prophesied to be connected with the coming King of the South.<\/p>\n

Ezekiel 30 also points to the coming King of the South. Notice some who are prophesied there to support that leader:<\/p>\n

5 Cush and Put, Lydia and all Arabia, Libya and the people of the covenant land will fall by the sword along with Egypt.\u00a0 (Ezekiel 30:5, NIV).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Hence, it looks like Sudan will one day support the coming King of the South\u2013but will not do well for doing so.<\/p>\n

The coming King of the South will not last in power very long.<\/p>\n

The “Abraham Accords” are getting some Muslim nations to align.<\/p>\n

UAE Deal: Peace in the Middle East?<\/a><\/h3>\n

On August 13, 2020, US President Donald Trump sent out a tweet over Twitter of something called the \u201cJoint Statement of the United States, the State of Israel, and the United Arab Emirates;\u201d it is also called the Abraham Accord(s). Many are excited about it as it is the first such deal between Israel and an Arab nation in 25 years. Others have denounced it as counter-productive. The United Arab Emirates has agreed essentially to recognize Israel if it does not proceed now with the annexations of Samaria, etc. it had planned. Although it is being hailed as a \u201chistoric peace deal,\u201d a senior Palestinian official and negotiator named Saeb Erekat, said on August 14, 2020, \u201cYou are rewarding aggression. \u2026 You have destroyed, with this move, any possibility of peace between Palestinians and Israelis.\u201d On the other hand, Breaking Israel News has suggested that this deal fulfills prophecies in Psalm 133:1 and Genesis <\/span>16:12<\/span> related to Ishmael and Jacob\u2013is that true? Will peace come to the Middle East? Does Daniel <\/span>9:26<\/a>-27 talk about a seven-year temporal peace deal coming to the Middle East? Will the prince, who becomes the King of the North, confirm this deal and break it after 3 1\/2 years? How do we know that it is a European (a descendant from the peoples of the ancient Roman Empire) confirm it? Will most be deceived by false claims of a humanistic, Satanic, peace? Will many Christians not understand? Is the confirmation of a coming deal a countdown to the start of the Great Tribulation, the destruction of the USA (Daniel <\/span>11:39<\/a>) and its Anglo-Saxon descended allies, as well as the destruction of a confederation of Middle Eastern and North African peoples led by one the Bible calls the King of the South (Daniel <\/span>11:40<\/a>-43)? Will humans bring real peace or do we need the return of Jesus and the establishment of the millennial portion of the Kingdom of God to do that? The Bible tells of a temporary peace deal coming to the Middle East in the 9th chapter of Daniel:<\/p>\n

26 And the people of the prince who is to come Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, And till the end of the war desolations are determined. 27 Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate (Daniel 9:26-27).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The biblically-prophesied \u201cprince\u201d to confirm it will be a European leader who is the one who is later called the King of the North<\/a> in Daniel 11:40. The \u2018one week\u2019 has generally been understood by prophecy watchers to mean a seven year deal, that is broken in the middle of it (after 3 1\/2 years)–hence this is a temporary deal. The breaking of this deal is also confirmed in the following scripture:<\/p>\n

31 And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation. (Daniel 11:31)
