COGwriter<\/a><\/p>\n Last night the United Church of God<\/a> (UCG) reported the following:<\/p>\n April 5, 2011<\/p>\n Beyond Today<\/em><\/strong> Posts Dramatic New Record-High Response on WGN America<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n A\u00a0stunning new record-high response was received for the United Church of God<\/a> Beyond Today<\/em> program…hosted by Steve Myers.This episode, which aired on Sunday, March 27, 2011, received\u00a01,460 responses at a new record low of $8.22 cost per response (CPR). These\u00a0results\u00a0top the\u00a0former record-high\u00a01,275 responses of $9.41 CPR for the program \u201cGet to Know Your Bible,\u201d\u00a0which aired\u00a0just three weeks earlier, on March 6, 2011. This is a 15 percent jump from one record to the next.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n The Living Church of God<\/a> (LCG) also reported a record response a few days ago to its telecast.\u00a0 Here is an announcement from its World Ahead Weekly Update <\/a>by Dr. Winnail:<\/p>\n This has been a very encouraging week for the Work!\u00a0Mr. Wayne Pyle reports that Mr. Meredith\u2019s Tomorrow\u2019s<\/em> World<\/em> telecast last weekend, program #379, \u201cHow to Watch World Events\u201d broke all previous records<\/strong> with more than 6,700 responses.\u00a0It was also exciting to see that last weekend\u2019s Tomorrow\u2019s<\/em> World<\/em> Special Presentations drew 226 new people.\u00a0Mr. Meredith spoke to more than 200 brethren last Sabbath in Kansas City, and on Sunday 114 visitors attended his Tomorrow\u2019s<\/em> World<\/em> Special Presentation there.\u00a0We had 59 visitors for the TWSP that I made in Lansing, Michigan and 44 visitors for the TWSP in Valparaiso, Indiana.\u00a0Mr. Ron Poole had nine visitors for the follow-up TWSP in Asheville, North Carolina.\u00a0This coming weekend, I will be in Jackson and Hattiesburg, Mississippi for two more TWSPs that will focus on the topic \u201cWhat\u2019s Ahead for America?\u201d\u00a0It is very inspiring to see God\u2019s people working together to make these presentations possible.\u00a0Mr. Mario Hernandez left yesterday to visit members and congregations in South America.\u00a0Thank you for your prayers and support for God\u2019s Work and these Special Presentations\u2014they are needed and appreciated.\u00a0Please remember to pray fervently that God will intervene for many of our brethren who are facing trials and serious health problems.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n So, the weekend of March 27th was a record for both UCG and LCG telecasts.<\/p>\n It may be of interest to note that UCG has indicated that it plans to have something like LCG’s TWSPs later this year.<\/p>\n As far as television goes, LCG<\/a> seems to have the greatest COG presence on television.\u00a0 PCG<\/a> is probably second, UCG<\/a> now probably third, and ICG<\/a> is probably fourth.\u00a0 The other COGs do not have a significant television presence to the best of my knowledge.<\/p>\n Some articles of possibly related interest may include:<\/em><\/p>\n Polycarp, Herbert W.
