There are more and more emerging signs that Germany is becoming more militaristic. Notice the following by Dominik Wullers, who is a former army officer of the Bundeswehr (the German military):<\/p>\n

Only a few years ago, many observers of international relations would have thought of Germany as a peace-loving, if not pacifist, country. Whenever an international conflict demanded swift action, Germany was quick to reject the military option<\/a>. If it did agree to a military operation, Berlin would ask to have its troops deployed far away<\/a> from the action. Now, Germany has recently confirmed<\/a> that it will soon send a warship into the hot zone that is the Indo-Pacific.<\/p>\n

This planned deployment demonstrates a growing realism in Germany. As I have written before<\/a>, Germany is becoming more realist in its foreign policy and less Wilsonian. The main catalyst has been the steadily decreasing U.S. interest in Europe<\/a> since the end of the Cold War. Being on the receiving end of U.S. sanctions<\/a> and tariff threats<\/a> has made Germans more aware of the true anarchic nature<\/a> of international relations, for example, after the unravelling of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action or in the ongoing confrontation<\/a> over Nord Stream 2. https:\/\/warontherocks.com\/2021\/05\/pacific-germany\/<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Bible itself warns that a Germanic power will think it is not militaristic, but then it will be and take major steps (Isaiah 10:5-12)–steps that will lead to the elimination of the USA, UK, and Canada.<\/p>\n

JOE Biden’s decision to waive sanctions against the company constructing the Nord Stream 2 pipeline will simply “empower” Germany in its ambition to create a European army, a Tory MP has claimed.<\/h3>\n

And Daniel Kawczynski<\/a> said there was increasing concern among his colleagues about the controversial project, which will bring liquified gas directly from Germany to Russia<\/a>, and which critics claims runs counter to the principles of both the European Union<\/a> and NATO. …<\/p>\n

Mr Kawczysnki, MP for Shrewsbury and Atcham, a persistent critic of the project, told\u00a0Express.co.uk<\/span><\/a>: \u201cI think we had seen with Belarus what the Russian axis is capable of, even jeopardising the lives of passengers by hijacking an aircraft. …<\/p>\n

Democrats believe they have a relationship to repair, and they don’t want to antagonise the Germans.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it’s a terrible mistake, because this will empower Germany to continue to implement various policies which are out of kilter with NATO, and their determination to create a single European army is going to be the great threat and challenge that we will have to face.<\/p>\n

A retired German general considers that the Greens’ plans in foreign and military policies can be achieved only with increased financial expenditure for the Bundeswehr, in other words, a higher military budget.[18] With its demand to abolish veto power in the UN Security Council and its approbation of global interventions to “defend human rights,” the former peace party has significantly lowered the “political threshold for the engagement of the armed forces in international interventions,” warned Erich Vad, Chancellor Angela Merkel’s former military policy advisor. Military interventions would therefore become more probable – not least of all, because even rescuing refugees will have to “serve to legitimize global military missions.” https:\/\/www.german-foreign-policy.com\/en\/news\/detail\/8610\/<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Germany’s Green Party was considered to be its major pacifist party, but the woman who leads it has gone out publicly in favor of a more militaristic Germany this year as part of her campaign to become Germany’s Chancellor (see Express: EU Army warning: Candidate to replace Merkel demands \u2018serious steps\u2019 taken \u2013 huge backlash; PESCO is in the American Interest?<\/a>). Last December, Germany’s Social Democrat Party also called for a more militaristic Germany (see Germany\u2019s SPD proposes European army, UK concerned, and the Bible teaches that Europe will have a \u2018great army\u2019<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Bundestag President and CDU politician Wolfgang Sch\u00e4uble was asked whether a “closely interlinked Franco-German defence community would fail because both states have a contradicting basic understanding of the deployment of the army?”<\/p>\n

The newspaper also asked: “To put it another way: as long as Germany is committed to the principle of the parliamentary army, there can be no common army.”<\/p>\n

Mr Sch\u00e4uble replied: … “If we could achieve that, the Franco-German brigade could finally be awakened from their sleep.”…<\/p>\n

“We don’t have much time. We live in a dangerous world in which Europe needs an operational, modern army.<\/p>\n

Yes, many in Europe believe it has been “asleep” militarily–and that it needs to wake up. Yes, leaders in France and Germany want a European army.<\/p>\n

One will rise up according to the Bible:<\/p>\n

16 … the king of the north … 25 … shall stir up his power and his courage … with a great army. (Daniel 11:16, 25)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

It should be pointed out that the final King of the North<\/a> is a European leader (see Who is the King of the North?<\/a> and watch also Can You Prove that the Beast to Come is European?<\/a>).<\/p>\n

USA “Broken”<\/h3>\n

The survey commissioned by the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR), and conducted after the US elections by Datapraxis and YouGov has arrived at findings that, to a large extent, could be interpreted as being favorable to Berlin’s foreign policy and its quest for the EU’s greater independence. In May 2017, German Chancellor Angela Merkel had summed up the demand for greater independence with the slogan “we Europeans have to take our fate into our own hands.”[1] In the survey, 67 percent agreed that “Europe can’t always rely on the US: we need to look after our own defense capabilities,” only ten percent thought the contrary.[2] At the same time 61 percent believe that the political system of the United States is broken, whereas, only 27 percent think that it still functions well. … there is little willingness to clearly take Washington’s side “if there was a disagreement” between the USA and Russia or, respectively, China. Overall, 57 percent of the respondents think that China will “probably” or even “definitely” become more powerful than the US within the next ten years, only 19 percent were convinced of the contrary. Nevertheless, in a conflict between the US and China only 22 percent (16 percent in Germany) would like their country to side with the US, while 60 percent (66 percent in Germany) are pleading for neutrality. https:\/\/www.german-foreign-policy.com\/en\/news\/detail\/8497\/<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Have no doubts–Europe is developing its own military. The Bible says it will have a “great army” (Daniel 11:25) and will become the aggressor against the USA in the future per Daniel 11:39.<\/p>\n

Europe already has PESCO, its Permanent Structured Cooperation (watch PESCO and a Great European Army<\/a>)–which it formed within a year of Donald Trump becoming President of the United States–his position was used as a reason, in my view, to accelerate the move towards a stronger EU military.<\/p>\n

The Europeans are concluding that they want greater military capability as they have concerns about the USA.<\/a><\/p>\n

\n

The Bible shows that a leader will arise in Europe who, though talking peace, eventually will destroy places like the USA, UK, and Canada:<\/p>\n

24 His power shall be mighty, but not by his own power;
\nHe shall destroy fearfully,
\nAnd shall prosper and thrive;
\nHe shall destroy the mighty, and also the holy people.<\/p>\n

25 “Through his cunning
\nHe shall cause deceit to prosper under his rule;
\nAnd he shall exalt himself in his heart.
\nHe shall destroy many in their prosperity. (Daniel 8:24-25)<\/p>\n

39 Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain (Daniel 11:39).<\/p>\n

25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many<\/strong>: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand. (Daniel 8:25, KJV).<\/p>\n

23 And after the league is made with him he shall act deceitfully<\/strong>, for he shall come up and become strong with a small number of people. 24 He shall enter peaceably<\/strong>, even into the richest places of the province; and he shall do what his fathers have not done, nor his forefathers: he shall disperse among them the plunder, spoil, and riches; and he shall devise his plans against the strongholds, but only for a time. (Daniel 11:23-24, NKJV) <\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So this leader gives people the impression that there will be “peace” and is involved in some type of deal. This is the same leader that confirms the covenant in Daniel 9:27. The term is translated as “peace” in Daniel 8:25 is from the Hebrew term shalvah<\/em> and essentially means security. In other words, this leader will destroy “many” who are under the impression that they are secure because of some type of security and\/or trade arrangement. Such arrangements are now commonly referred to as peace deals or treaties.<\/p>\n

He will eliminate the USA and its British-descended allies. But he will also want to control all that he can.<\/p>\n

Notice more about the Beast:<\/p>\n

1 Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. 2 Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. 4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” (Revelation 13:1-4)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

He will be a successful military leader and the world will marvel because of his defeat of the USA and other nations (cf. Daniel 11:39-43).<\/p>\n

And he will arise talking peace.<\/p>\n

The old Radio Church of God taught the following in a radio broadcast back in 1958:<\/p>\n

GERMANY in Prophecy?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Notice an amazing prophecy about the Middle East in Psalm 83:1-8. It is a time of war. “Hold not Thy peace, and be not still, O God. For, lo, Thine enemies… have taken crafty counsel against Thy people.” They have dealt treacherously with Judah and Israel \u2014 with the Jews and with America and Britain! We are God’s people, Israel. The Jews are merely the tribe of Judah. But to continue:<\/span><\/p>\n

“They have said, ‘Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation.'” Isn’t this exactly what the Iraqi leaders have said? “For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against Thee…”
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

What nations are these in confederation against God’s people? Here is the answer of this prophecy! Here is what is yet going to take shape in the Middle East! <\/span><\/p>\n

“Edom (Turkey), and the Ishmaelites (Saudi Arabia); Moab (part of Jordan), and the Hagarenes (part of Arabia); Gebal (this is the ancient name for Byblos in Lebanon), and Ammon (Jordan ) and Amalek (part of the Turks); the Philistines (the displaced Moslems from Palestine) with the inhabitants of Tyre; ASSUR IS JOINED WITH THEM: they have helped the children of Lot (Jordan and part of Iraq).”
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Who is Assur? GERMANY!…<\/span><\/p>\n

“O Asshur, the rod of Mine anger,” declares God. Here is a prophecy concerning Germany \u2014 the descendants of Asshur today! “The staff,” says God, “in their hand is Mine indignation. I will send him against an hypocritical nation (that is, Israel \u2014 America and Britain today), and… I will give him a charge to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets” (Isaiah 10:5-6).
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Our sins are mounting to heaven itself. And God is going to punish us by the very nation whom we have tried to buy for an ally! It is God who is going to permit the revival of Nazism to punish us in World War III. We have won two major wars against Germany in one generation. But the third time God is going to punish us as we have never been punished before! The sword of war is going to strike us “the third time” (Ezekiel 21:14), and we are going to be led away captive to Assyria and to all nations (Isaiah 11:10-12). …
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

In the meantime, God will warn Europe of what their fate is through His Church. “And this gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto ALL NATIONS; and then shall the end come,” declared Jesus in Matthew 24:14. Germany is to be warned of her sins. Because she will not now repent, God will use her to punish us first. Then He is going to punish her. <\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Radio Church of God also published the following:<\/p>\n

“The king of the north” \u2014 all Bible scholars know that the ‘king of the north’ originally meant Syria in Old Testament times; but when Rome conquered Syria, the ‘king of the north’ became Rome; and when Rome fell, the German Nation and its allies wok over Rome and now have become the ‘king of the north’ (verses 36-39 \u2014 the German Nation, now working through the Nazi Underground, “shall…” notice it! “… shall enter into the countries …). Why? Because these nations shall finally be in league with Germany [the descendants of Assur or Assyria] according to Psalm 83! Germany’s coming Fuhrer … is “the king of the north.” (Hoeh H. German leaders once again \u2014 just as in centuries past \u2014 openly are attempting to unite all Europe in a United States of Europe \u2014 and, through Europe, to reshape the world in order to fasten German leadership and culture on all nations and peoples. For well over 20 years, Mr. Armstrong has made plain to our readers that the prophecies of the Bible foretell that Germany will rise again to become a mighty world power. Europe has long been preparing moves to rise up.<\/p>\n

As many modern news reports point out, more and more in Germany are becoming more militarily inclined again.<\/p>\n

The days of the USA are numbered (watch Is the USA Prophesied to be Destroyed by 2028<\/a>).<\/p>\n

When will this fully be in place?<\/p>\n

After the Gospel of the Kingdom of God<\/a> has been sufficiently preached to the world as a witness by the Philadelphian Christians<\/a>, then end comes (Matthew 24:14) and the Beast<\/a> will rise up (Matthew 24:15-22, Revelation 13).<\/span><\/p>\n

We are getting closer to that day.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jesus warned many would be distracted in the end times (cf. Matthew 24:36-44). Jesus also warned:<\/p>\n

34 “But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. 35 For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.” (Luke 21:34-36)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Understand that in the end time, most Christians are NOT Philadelphian<\/a>, will not have been involved in the work Jesus wants them to be (cf. Revelation 3:7-22) and will NOT be counted worthy to escape what will come to pass.<\/p>\n
