The G7 announced yesterday that it would try to counter China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) with one of their own. Here is something related to that from Germany’s Chancellor today:<\/p>\n

June 13, 2021<\/p>\n

German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Sunday said she hoped that a new Group of Seven task force can present first infrastructure projects in developing countries in 2022.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\n

The world\u2019s seven most advanced economies signalled during the summit a desire to build a rival to China\u2019s multitrillion-dollar Belt and Road initiative.<\/p>\n

U.S. President Joe Biden and other G7 leaders hope their plan, known as the Build Back Better World (B3W) initiative, will help narrow the $40 trillion needed by developing nations by 2035, the White House said.<\/p>\n

It was not immediately clear how exactly the plan would work or how much capital it would ultimately allocate. https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/us-g7-summit-germany\/germanys-merkel-hopes-for-g7-infrastructure-plans-in-2022-idUSKCN2DP0C3<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The G7 has a history of making declarations and not fulfilling them or being sure how to implement them.<\/p>\n

That being said, if you notice the map at the beginning of this post, you will see that the BRI mainly impacts Asia, Africa, and parts of Europe.<\/p>\n

The China Central Asia West Asia Corridor<\/em> runs relatively close to Armageddon as well as to the edge of Europe. (Note: Although Australia is shown as a participant above, it pulled out of the BRI last month; see Australian split with China\u2019s New Silk Road (Belt and Road Initiative)<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

I believe that some of the BRI, including one or more of the ports involved, will assist in the gathering of troops at Armageddon<\/p>\n

China is working on something known as the \u2018Silk Road\u2019 project or the \u201cOne Belt, One Road\u201d initiative. NBC reports that China intends to spend one trillion dollars to build roads, bridges, railroads, and maritime facilities to reach from China to Europe and China to the Middle East. Over 60 nations, including Russia, are involved with this. Could this Silk Road project possibly produce thoroughfares that could be used by troops that will amass at Armageddon? Dr. Thiel discusses this project and some of its potential prophetic ramifications in this video.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Yes, we can expect to see Chinese ‘roads’ (some are actually shipping ports) used to transport soldiers and military equipment to gather at Armageddon. Presuming the G7 funds infrastructure, some of that would likely also be used.<\/p>\n

Now, the term Armageddon is only used once in the Bible. It is the sixth of seven bowls of God\u2019s wrath:<\/p>\n

1 Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, \u201cGo and pour out the bowls of the wrath of God on the earth.\u201d (Revelation 16:1)<\/p>\n

12 Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east<\/strong> might be prepared. 13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.<\/p>\n

15 \u201cBehold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.\u201d<\/p>\n

16 And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon. (Revelation 16:12-16)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

For them to gather, they must cross over land to get to Armageddon.<\/p>\n

The kings of the east reference refers to Asian nations, including Russia, whose border extends to the farthest parts of the east\u2013and China which is commonly believed to be part of the \u2018far east.\u2019<\/p>\n

While the primary road of the BRI\/Silk Road project does not go to Armageddon, it will make getting there a lot easier. So, will the naval routes.<\/p>\n

The pathways to Armageddon are being set.<\/p>\n

Now, in one respect the point of the BRI is for all roads to lead to China.<\/p>\n

China expects this will help it with trade and international influence. And it certainly appears that it will.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, if one goes in the opposite direction, then the roads (including naval routes) go back from Europe to all across Asia and into Africa. There is also an arctic route expected with connects Europe from the north.<\/p>\n

Now with the European-dominated G7 (4 of the 7 are European nations) agreeing to compete with China’s BRI, expect that the plan is for additional trade benefits to accrue to Europe.<\/p>\n

Since the Bible teaches that it will be Europe that will dominate world trade, G7 and BRI infrastructure will help Europe will get access to markets in Asia and Africa.<\/p>\n

Consider that the Bible teaches the following about an end time European power:<\/p>\n

2 \u2026 Babylon \u2026 3<\/span> For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury. (Revelation 18:2,3)<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The above is referring to the fact that nations of the world are prophesied to get wealthy trading with end time Babylon, which will be a European entity. This European power will have religious ties to the City of Seven Hills\u2013the Church of Rome:<\/p>\n

1<\/span> Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me, \u201cCome, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters, <\/span>2<\/span> with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication.\u201d (Revelation 17:1-2)<\/span><\/div>\n

9<\/span> Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits. \u2026 18<\/span> And the woman whom you saw is that great city which reigns over the kings of the earth.\u201d (Revelation 17:9,18)<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Bible tells of a trading power arising in Europe that is tied to the City of Seven Hills. Europe, the United Nations, and the Vatican have stated that they have agreed on essentially the same future for the world. Interestingly, the Chinese BRI looks to assist with that–as would G7 funded infrastructure.<\/p>\n

Back in 1971, the old Worldwide Church of God (WCG) published the following:<\/p>\n

Momentous, historic events are transforming Western Europe. But most Americans are \u201casleep at the switch\u201d to what is happening. It\u2019s time for a self-centered America to wake up \u2013 before her allies become her enemies. Envision the startling future of Western Europe. A \u2026 union of perhaps 250 million people, surpassing both the United States and the Soviet Union in economic strength, possessing for the first time worldwide political power and influence. One news source recently called it an \u201cenormous, physically powerful beast.\u201d A new Western Europe controlling perhaps half of all world trade, by exclusive arrangements with dozens of nations who produce raw materials. A \u201cUnited States of Europe\u201d possessing one single currency \u2013 a currency so strong that it will replace the U. S. dollar as the kingpin currency of world trade.(Hogberg G. EUROPE\u2019S COMMON MARKET RISING WORLD COLOSSUS<\/b><\/span>. Plain Truth, 1971)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Now, Europe does have its own currency\u2013a currency that some see as the logical replacement for the US dollar for world trade\u2013especially because of US sanctions, etc. (see also SWIFT end of the USA by 2025 as EU, Russia, China, and Iran take steps?<\/a>). Now, let me add that less than a decade after the above was published, the WCG publicly announced that Eastern Europe would also be part of this European power. And within a decade of that, Eastern European nations began to officially join in with what has become the European Union. And, in population (over 510 million), the European Union is actually larger than that of the USA and Russia combined (though once the UK is out, it will be a bit smaller\u2013yet other nations want to become part of it).<\/p>\n

The prophecies in Revelation 18 about the trading Babylonian power will come to pass.<\/p>\n

Infrastructure helps trade, and that is what the BRI project is intent on doing.<\/p>\n

The Bible tells that many will become rich by the coming daughter of Babylon system, but that it will eventually end, and many will mourn:<\/p>\n

11 \u201cAnd the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her, for no one buys their merchandise anymore: 12 merchandise of gold and silver, precious stones and pearls, fine linen and purple, silk and scarlet, every kind of citron wood, every kind of object of ivory, every kind of object of most precious wood, bronze, iron, and marble; 13 and cinnamon and incense, fragrant oil and frankincense, wine and oil, fine flour and wheat, cattle and sheep, horses and chariots, and bodies and souls of men. 14 The fruit that your soul longed for has gone from you, and all the things which are rich and splendid have gone from you, and you shall find them no more at all. 15 The merchants of these things, who became rich by her, will stand at a distance for fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, 16 and saying, \u2018Alas, alas, that great city that was clothed in fine linen, purple, and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls! 17 For in one hour such great riches came to nothing.\u2019 Every shipmaster, all who travel by ship, sailors, and as many as trade on the sea, stood at a distance 18 and cried out when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, \u2018What is like this great city?\u2019<\/p>\n

19 \u201cThey threw dust on their heads and cried out, weeping and wailing, and saying, \u2018Alas, alas, that great city, in which all who had ships on the sea became rich by her wealth! For in one hour she is made desolate.\u2019 (Revelation 18:11-19)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A massive trading system, also involving human trafficking is discussed in the Hebrew scriptures as well:<\/p>\n

12 “Tarshish was your merchant because of your many luxury goods. They gave you silver, iron, tin, and lead for your goods. 13 Javan, Tubal, and Meshech were your traders. They bartered human lives and vessels of bronze for your merchandise. 14 Those from the house of Togarmah traded for your wares with horses, steeds, and mules. 15 The men of Dedan were your traders; many isles were the market of your hand. They brought you ivory tusks and ebony as payment. 16 Syria was your merchant because of the abundance of goods you made. They gave you for your wares emeralds, purple, embroidery, fine linen, corals, and rubies. (Ezekiel 27:12-16)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Human trafficking is again going to become ‘legal’ (or at least tolerated).
