Biden Seeks to Weather Afghan Withdrawal Storm<\/h2>\n

U.S. President Joe Biden remains defiant in the middle of a political storm triggered by the swift Taliban takeover of Afghanistan and chaotic end of America\u2019s longest war.<\/p>\n

Defending Afghan withdrawal plans that he announced in April, Biden told ABC News\u2019 George Stephanopoulos on Wednesday that the military exit was a \u201csimple choice\u201d and could not have been carried out more effectively.<\/p>\n

The president insisted no one could have foreseen the swift Taliban takeover, a possibility that he has repeatedly dismissed since announcing the drawdown.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe idea that the Taliban would take over was premised on the notion that somehow the 300,000 troops we had trained and equipped were going to just collapse, they were going to give up. I don\u2019t think anybody anticipated that,\u201d Biden said.<\/p>\n

Still, the failure to evacuate U.S. personnel and Afghan partners in an orderly manner and the rapid collapse of the American-backed Afghan government have raised doubts about the calculations behind his foreign policy, supposedly an area of expertise for Biden, who spent many years serving on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a failure of leadership. It was mostly a failure of proper thought and planning,\u201d said Michael O\u2019Hanlon, senior foreign policy fellow at the liberal-leaning Brookings Institution. …<\/p>\n

Congressional backlash<\/strong><\/p>\n

Congressional backlash has been swift and bipartisan. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell called it an \u201cunmitigated disaster\u201d and a stain on America\u2019s reputation.<\/p>\n

“Every terrorist around the world, in Syria, in Iraq and Yemen, in Africa, are cheering the defeat of the United States military by a terrorist organization in Afghanistan,” McConnell said.<\/p>\n

Democrats criticized the drawdown\u2019s disorganization …<\/p>\n

They Knew: Leaked State Department Memo Warned Of Afghanistan Collapse<\/h2>\n

Around two dozen State Department officials at the US embassy in Kabul warned of a potential collapse <\/strong>following the Aug. 31 troop withdrawal deadline, according to the Wall Street Journal<\/em><\/a>, citing a ‘person familiar with the cable.’<\/p>\n

Using a special ‘dissent channel’ within the State Department, the cable – sent to Secretary of State Antony Blinken<\/strong> and another top State Department official – warned of ‘rapid territorial gains by the Taliban and the subsequent collapse of Afghan security forces,’ and offered suggestions on how to speed up evacuation and mitigate the obvious crisis slated to ensue, two people told the WSJ<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In total, 23 US Embassy staffers<\/strong> – all Americans, signed the July 13 cable, which was given a rush status ‘given the circumstances on the ground in Kabul.’ In addition to Blinken, it was sent to the Director of Policy Planning, Salman Ahmad.<\/p>\n

Blinken received the cable and reviewed it shortly afterwards<\/strong> according to the report.<\/p>\n

The cable, dated July 13, also called for the State Department to use tougher language in describing the atrocities being committed by the Taliban<\/strong>, one of the people said.<\/em><\/p>\n

The classified cable represents the clearest evidence yet that the administration had been warned by its own officials on the ground that the Taliban\u2019s advance was imminent and Afghanistan\u2019s military may be unable to stop it<\/strong>. -WSJ<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

According to the report, some 18,000 Afghans and their families who had applied for special US Immigrant Visas remained in Kabul<\/strong> in areas under Taliban control, while efforts to reach the airport have become increasingly difficult.<\/p>\n

US intelligence officials have sparred with the White House over who was warning of what, and when. And as the Journal<\/em> notes, the existence of this confidential State Department memo warning of impending doom adds a crucial piece to our knowledge of how this all went down<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Why Blinken and Biden didn’t take immediate action despite receiving a ‘dissent channel’ emergency communication from their staff on the ground in Kabul is unknown, however Blinken is apparently so bad that John McCain<\/em> called him “dangerous to America” in a 2014 Senate speech, adding that he was “one of the worst selections of a very bad lot” as Obama’s nominee for Secretary of State. https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/political\/they-knew-leaked-state-department-memo-warned-afghanistan-collapse<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Biden-Harris Administration wants to punish foreign nations not onboard with its LGBTQI+ policies. Joe Biden said his Administration was doing this to help repair the USA\u2019s \u201cmoral leadership\u201d internationally. Is this promotion of immoral sins going to lead to destruction of the USA, perhaps by 2028? Can the strongest military in the world be taken over? Is the USA prophesied to be destroyed by 2028?<\/a><\/h3>\n

Are there prophetic reasons to believe that the USA will not last two complete presidential terms? Yes. There is a tradition attributed to the Hebrew prophet Elijah that humanity had 6,000 years to live before being replaced by God\u2019s Kingdom. There are scriptures, writings in the Talmud, early Christian teachings that support this. Also, even certain Hindu writings support it. <\/span><\/p>\n

Here is a summary of ten items to consider: 1. If as the School of Elijah taught, that God inspired Elijah to state that the world as we have known it would last 6,000 years, to be followed by a thousand year sabbatical time, which Jewish tradition (Talmud, Tractate Sanhedrin [97a]) and early Christian traditions records (e.g. Irenaeus, a hearer of Polycarp. Adversus haereses, Book V, Chapter 30:4), then we are getting close to the end of that time. <\/span><\/p>\n

2. And if, consistent with scriptures in both the Old and New Testaments, we can apply the concept that a thousand years is as a day to God (Psalm 90:4; 2 Peter 3:8). <\/span><\/p>\n

3. And if, as generally understood in the Church of God that Jesus was killed and resurrected no later than the Spring of 31 A.D. on Passover. <\/span><\/p>\n

4. And if we can presume that the \u201clast days\u201d of a 7,000 year prophetic week began AFTER the middle day (day 4), then the last days prior to the \u201csabbatical\u201d time, which some would refer to as the millennial Kingdom of God would last two thousand years. <\/span><\/p>\n

5. And if when Peter referred to being in the last days (Acts <\/span>2:17-18) and since Hebrews 1:1-12 teaches that \u201cGod \u2026 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

6. Then adding 2,000 years to a period of time leads to the end of the 6,000 years no later than 2031 (and it could be earlier than that). <\/span><\/p>\n

7. Since the Great Tribulation is expected to start 3 1\/2 years prior to that (cf. Revelation <\/span>12:14; 13:5) subtracting 3 1\/2 years from the Spring of 2031 would be late in 2027. <\/span><\/p>\n

8. Understand that the U.S.A. is prophesied to be taken over near the rise of the Beast and start of the Great Tribulation (cf. Daniel <\/span>11:39; Jeremiah 30:7; Matthew <\/span>24:21-22). <\/span><\/p>\n

9. Therefore, since the end of two full U.S.A. presidential terms would end in January of 2029, these prophetic understandings point to the end of the U.S.A. prior to two full presidential terms. <\/span><\/p>\n

10. This is also consistent with certain Hindu and Roman Catholic prophetic writings as well. This video gives more details and quotes which point to the destruction of the United States of America by 2028.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Many have falsely claimed that the Great Tribulation either was in the first century A.D. or would come in many different years prior to now. Could the Great Tribulation occur next year or not? What is the earliest year that the Great Tribulation could come? Why is 2022-2024 impossible? Why does 2025 seem unlikely? What are the possible reasons for 2026 or 2027? What about confirmation of the peace deal by a prince in Daniel 9:27? What about the emergence of European King of the North and a Middle Eastern\/North African King of the South?
