Have you heard about an alleged ‘internet kill switch’? Here are some reports:<\/p>\n

[T]he independent media has long warned of the globalists working on an \u2018internet kill switch\u2019\u00a0<\/i>to kill Americans access to the real information we can get online, un-poisoned by the mainstream media\u2019s\/democrat party\u2019s\u00a0\u2018spin factory\u2019<\/i>. So are the globalists, who refuse to follow the US Constitution, about to impose it upon America?<\/p>\n

And while some might argue that there is no such thing as an\u00a0\u2018internet kill switch\u2019<\/i>, back in August of 2020, the website\u00a0\u2018Access Now<\/i>\u2018 argued<\/a>\u00a0\u2018it\u2019s time to take away Trump\u2019s internet kill switch<\/i>\u2018 (story has since been updated since Biden got into office.) While all the way back in 2010,\u00a0BBC published a story titled<\/a>\u00a0\u201cShould Obama\u2019s \u2018internet kill switch power be curbed?\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n

And does anyone really think that out in the open totalitarian nations such as China and the many others across our planet in 2021 don\u2019t have an\u00a0\u2018internet kill switch\u2019<\/i>?<\/p>\n

An Internet kill switch is a countermeasure concept of activating a single shut off mechanism for all Internet traffic.\u00a0<\/i><\/strong><\/p>\n

The concept behind having a kill switch is based on creating a single point of control (i.e. a switch) for a single authority to control or shut down the Internet in order to protect it or its users. <\/i><\/strong>…<\/p>\n

China has completely shut down Internet service\u00a0in the autonomous region of Xinjiang for almost a year after the July 2009 \u00dcr\u00fcmqi riots.<\/i><\/strong><\/p>\n

Egypt:\u00a0Internet in Egypt \u00a7 2011 Internet shutdown On January 27, 2011, during the Egyptian Revolution of 2011, the government of President Hosni Mubarak\u00a0cut off access to the Internet by all four national ISPs, and all mobile phone networks.<\/i><\/strong> ..<\/p>\n

Iran:\u00a0The Iranian Government activated the internet kill switch during the 2019-2020 Iranian Protests to\u00a0prevent the organization of new protests\u00a0and riots.<\/i><\/strong><\/p>\n

Turkey:\u00a0In June 2016, Turkey introduced an Internet kill switch law permitting authorities to \u201cpartially or entirely\u201d suspend Internet access due to wartime measures, national security or public order.<\/i><\/strong> …<\/p>\n

So does anyone really think that a totalitarian government wouldn\u2019t do the same thing here in America, and for many of the same reasons, to control the flow of information, deprive Americans of a way to communicate and make it so Americans cannot get valuable information not being reported by the mainstream media? https:\/\/www.sgtreport.com\/2021\/09\/operation-starfall-introduced-by-republicans-in-congress-warns-of-rogue-regimes-shutting-down-the-internet-and-tyrants-shutting-off-the-lights-2\/<\/a><\/p>\n

Internet Shutdown Emerging As Authoritarian Weapon Of Choice<\/h3>\n

Over the last decade, governments worldwide have intentionally shut down the internet at least 850 times, with a whopping 90% of those shutdowns taking place over just the last five years.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s behind this troubling trend? \u201cMore people are getting online and getting access to the internet,\u201d said Marianne D\u00edaz Hern\u00e1ndez, a lawyer in Venezuela and a fellow with the nonprofit Access Now. \u201cAs governments see this as a threat, they start thinking the internet is something they need to control.\u201d 09\/02\/21 https:\/\/www.activistpost.com\/2021\/09\/internet-shutdown-emerging-as-authoritarian-weapon-of-choice.html<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Many various government officials and those in Big Tech hate aspects of free speech as well as biblical morality. Many want to stop it.<\/p>\n

YouTube uses terms like \u201ccommunity standards\u201d to try to cover up its biases and censorship. While that is not a ‘kill switch,’ it selectively functions as one.<\/p>\n

So, the Bible tells of a time that will come when the word of God will not be found. And that would seem to be because it will be taken off the internet. In the 21st century, the internet is accessed by people in every country, and thus some type of internet restriction\/suspension\/site removal is coming.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Many big tech companies and world leaders are biased against the Bible and those who claim to teach what it teaches. For years I have warned that internet restrictions were coming.<\/p>\n

And not just from so-called ‘authoritarian regimes,’ but also from the supposed ‘free’ West–meaning the USA and Europe.<\/p>\n

\n

More stifling of\u00a0 free and religious speech will happen.<\/p>\n

The prophet Amos was inspired to record the following:<\/p>\n

11 \u201cBehold, the days are coming,\u201d says the Lord God,
\n\u201cThat I will send a famine on the land,
\nNot a famine of bread,
\nNor a thirst for water,
\nBut of hearing the words of the Lord.

\nThey shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the Lord,
\nBut shall not find it. (Amos 8:11-12)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n

Shadow-banning and deplatforming of religious materials have been taking place. Governments have also used something resembling an internet kill switch to stifle speech and communications.<\/p>\n

Yet, more is coming and it will get even worse.<\/p>\n

However, Matthew 24:14 will be fulfilled BEFORE the full \u2018famine of the word\u2019 happens.<\/p>\n

After the Gospel of the Kingdom of God<\/a> has sufficiently reached the world the end comes and the Beast will rise up (Matthew 24:14-22, Revelation 13) and more totalitarian controls will be put in place (Revelation 13:12-18).<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Censorship, suppression, and surveillance is increasing.<\/p>\n

Although you might think that if you have done nothing wrong, you have nothing to fear from surveillance or speech restrictions, consider that many in the governments of the West consider that those not supporting homosexual marriages<\/a>, etc. are extremist. If you accept that the Bible teaches that homosexuals can change (1 Corinthians 6:9-11), that is something certain so-called \u201cfact checkers\u201d disagree with. Let me add that I also saw someone once on a documentary that stated that people who believed in the millennium<\/a> could not be trusted and should be considered as potential terrorists. The fact that we in the Continuing<\/em> Church of God<\/a> would be considered pacifists<\/a>, does not change the fact that, since we hold to millennial and other biblical views, we can be improperly classified as extremist by government employees with various agendas. Having biblical views are becoming more problematic in the world. Canada does not want certain biblical verses to even be quoted (watch Canadian censoring of the Bible<\/a>). If you have different ideas about COVID-19 or the recent USA election, you can be considered a potential ‘domestic terrorist’ according to a warning issued by the US government last month (see MS: They Have Come Up With Some Ominous New Definitions For What Constitutes \u201cDomestic Terrorism\u201d<\/a>).<\/p>\n

While the Europeans and North Americans decry internet and speech restrictions in various countries in Asia, Africa, and elsewhere, they are also implementing restrictions themselves–and apparently some version of a kill switch.<\/p>\n

The Bible says to:<\/p>\n

1 Cry aloud, spare not; Lift up your voice like a trumpet; Tell My people their transgression, And the house of Jacob their sins. (Isaiah 58:1)<\/span><\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

And that warning includes telling of sins and prophecies that discuss punishment.<\/p>\n

This is something that the coming Beast power will oppose.<\/p>\n

I believe the Beast will influence the government of the USA to censor CCOG messages and websites from the internet within the next decade.<\/p>\n

Because of biblical prophecies as well as statements in the Old and New Testaments, we in the Continuing<\/em> Church of God have been preparing for the \u2018short work\u2019 (Romans 9:28; Matthew 24:14) and The famine of the word (Amos 8:11-12)<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We believe that all true Philadelphian Christians will realize that this is something that they should be supporting in these times.<\/p>\n
