Military programs aiming to end pandemics forever<\/h2>\n

It might surprise you to learn that many of the innovations deployed to counter the coronavirus were once obscure Pentagon-funded projects to defend soldiers from contagious diseases and biological weapons. The life-saving vaccine developed in record time owes a debt to these programs. To learn more, we met the man who has been leading the rapid vaccine effort, retired Colonel Matt Hepburn, an Army infectious disease physician who, as we first reported in April, spent years with the secretive defense advanced research projects agency or DARPA, working on technology he hopes will ensure COVID-19 is the last pandemic.<\/p>\n

Dr. Matt Hepburn: If we wanna say we can never let this happen again, we’re gonna have to go even faster next time.<\/p>\n

Eight years ago, Dr. Hepburn was recruited by DARPA.<\/p>\n

Well, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and Dr. Matt Hepburn did not succeed in taking “pandemics off the table.” Last Spring it was reported that DARPA was been working on an implantable microchip related to COVID that raised concerns (see \u2018SUBMIT NOW: World Economic Forum Wants You To Wear A Microchip-Powered Smart Mask\u2019 and \u2018Pentagon scientist unveils new COVID biochip implanted under the skin\u2019<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Now consider that a month or so before COVID-19 officially came to the USA, DARPA claimed it could better detect and deal with engineered bio-threats:<\/p>\n

Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) officials are espousing the potential benefits of new technology to quickly address endemic, emerging and engineered pathogenic threats.<\/p>\n

The organization\u2019s newest biotechnology funding opportunity, the Detect It with Gene Editing Technologies (DIGET) program, could help the Department of Defense maintain force readiness by informing rapid medical response to increase the standard of care for troops. It could also preserve geopolitical stability by preventing the spread of infectious disease from becoming a driver of conflict.<\/p>\n

\u201cDARPA is pursuing the capability to detect and characterize any pathogen, regardless of when or where it emerges,\u201d Renee Wegrzyn, the DIGET program manager, said. \u201cThere are three primary reasons that we think gene editing systems can help us realize that vision and they boil down to speed, accuracy, and precision.\u201d https:\/\/homelandprepnews.com\/stories\/39882-darpa-espouses-diget-program-benefits\/<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Superbugs, antibiotics, and vaccines<\/a><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) released a report in November 2019 that stated that an American died every 15 minutes from an antibiotic-resistant infection. It reported that an additional one dies about every 45 minutes from Clostridioides difficile. Another CDC report warned of the superbug Candida auris. In China, two recently died of the pneumonic plague, whereas in May 2019, to Mongolians died from the bubonic plague after eating a rodent kidney. Dr. Thiel explained that the flu is often associated with pigs and the Ebola virus from eating fruit bats. He also cited scriptures about which animals God said could be eaten and some of which should be avoided. Dr. Thiel also went over an NPR report which stated that more who get the live polio vaccine are paralyzed from that type of polio than the ‘wild’ kind. Dr. Thiel explains some scriptures about preventing disease as well as those that show that humans will not sufficiently repent and solve infectious disease problems before Jesus returns.<\/p>\n

As far as DARPA goes, reports suggest that it is involved in creating invasive pathogens itself. Here is one:<\/p>\n

DARPA: \u2018Militarized Microbes\u2019 To Spread GMO Bacteria<\/h2>\n

November 18, 2019<\/p>\n

The Pentagon\u2019s DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) wants to be able to spread genetically modified bacteria as \u201cexplosives sensors.\u201d The United States government could very well be looking into ways to militarize microbes.<\/p>\n

The Pentagon has teamed up with Raytheon for this project, which seems like it should come straight out of a dystopian science fiction story. The government wants to develop a system capable of delivering genetically modified bacteria underground, according to a report by RT<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Initiated by DARPA, the same agency that led programs to create telekinetic super soldiers and weaponized robotic insects, the project seeks to \u201c<\/em>program two bacterial strains to monitor ground surfaces for explosive materials,\u201d<\/em> defense contractor Raytheon said in a joint press release<\/a> with the Worcester Polytechnic Institute.<\/p>\n

So the genetically modified bacteria are for your own good!<\/p>\n

The first of the two strains, known as a \u201cbio-sensor,\u201d will \u201cdetect the presence or absence of explosives buried underground,\u201d while the second will produce a \u201cglowing light\u201d in the event such materials are found. Remotely operated cameras or drones would then be sent to survey the area to find the glowing germs, and ultimately the buried explosives. \u2013RT<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cWe already know that some bacteria can be programmed<\/strong> to be very good at detecting explosives, but it\u2019s harder underground,\u201d said Raytheon researcher Allison Taggart. \u201cWe\u2019re investigating how to transport the reporting bacteria to the required depth underground.\u201d<\/p>\n

Richard Reeves and D. Caetano-Anoll\u00e9s of the Department of Evolutionary Genetics, Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Biology, Pl\u00f6n, Germany; C. Bo\u00ebte of ISEM, University Montpellier, CNRS, EPHE, IRD, Montpellier, France; and S. Voeneky and F. Beck from the Institute of International Law and Ethics of Law, University of Freiburg, Germany have exposed DARPA\u2019s sinister plan<\/a>. They purport that, \u201cThe regulatory, biological, economic, and societal implications of dispersing such horizontal environmental genetic alteration agents (HEGAAs) into ecosystems\u201d does nothing to enhance U.S. agriculture or advance national defense. The scientists say the program could be viewed as a way to develop biological agents for hostile purposes. They decry that this program could \u201cconstitute a breach of the Biological Weapons Convention (BWC).\u201d …<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Viruses that affect crops, insects, and rodents may impact humans in different ways.<\/a>…<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Notwithstanding, as a U.S. defense project, this technology could be used to introduce debilitating viruses into enemy farmlands, crippling their agriculture. Because of this possibility, DARPA could be engaging in dual-research, developing a bio-weapon under the guise of agricultural advancement. Biological Warfare and Prophecy<\/a><\/h3>\n

Is biological warfare possible? Was it prophesied? Scientists have long warned that pathogenic organisms like the coronavirus could be weaponized. Furthermore, back in 2017, there were concerns that the biological research facility being constructed in Wuhan, China was risky and that a coronavirus from it could be released. On January 25, 2020, China\u2019s President Xi Jinping publicly stated that the situation with the Wuhan-related strain of the coronavirus was grave. Did Church of God writers like the late evangelist Raymond McNair warn that engineered viruses (the \u201cDoomsday bug\u201d) were consistent with prophecies from Jesus? Did a warning from CCOG leader Bob Thiel warn about risks of genetically-modified (GMO) mosquitoes come to pass? Could human research and\/or the consumption of biblically-unclean animals such as bats and snakes be a factor in current outbreaks or coming future pestilences? What about famines? How devastating have pestilences been? How devastating are the prophesied ones going to be? Will the USA military be able to prevent massively deadly pestilential pandemics that will be worse than COVID-19?<\/p>\n

Well, while it may have some effects on some, at least one massively worse that COVID-19 will come.<\/p>\n

How bad might it be?<\/p>\n

Notice the following biblical prophecy:<\/p>\n

12<\/span> One-third of you shall die of the pestilence, and be consumed with famine in your midst; and one-third shall fall by the sword all around you; and I will scatter another third to all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them. (Ezekiel 5:12)
\n<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Places like the USA military may actually be the cause.<\/p>\n

Consider also some warnings from the old Worldwide Church of God:<\/p>\n

Jet-Age Germs<\/strong><\/p>\n

The communicable disease problem is further being complicated by the potential hazards brought on by jet-age transport. No longer do nations live in relative isolation, separated by vast oceans or days and weeks of travel. Now a potential disease carrier can infect another country or continent thousands of miles away \u2014 all in a matter of hours. A person could carry a disease like yellow fever from the forests of Brazil to the suburbs of New York City and no one would be the wiser. Since the incubation period of such a disease usually amounts to several days, a potential carrier could easily clear customs long before the first telltale symptoms would break out. In addition, there is the threat of new disease strains which can be sprung on an unsuspecting country like an infectious bolt out of the blue. Typical examples include the Marburg virus which was carried into Germany by African green monkeys. Seven out of 25 research workers who contracted this lethal little bug were killed. Lassa fever, unheard of until the 1970s, was also found to be so virulent that researchers at Yale University Laboratories were forced to terminate all work on the virus.<\/p>\n

Epidemics Of The Future<\/strong><\/p>\n

The world has yet to see the last of widespread disease epidemics. That, in effect, was what Jesus Christ told His disciples in the pivotal Olivet prophecy recorded in Matthew 24 and Luke 21.<\/p>\n

Right along with wars and famine came pestilence: \u201cFor nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in diverse places\u201d (Matt. 24:7). These were some of the prophetic signs that Christ listed in answering the question, \u201cWhat shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world [age]?\u201d (Verse 3.)<\/p>\n

Granted, pestilence, famine and war have been ongoing problems that have plagued mankind ever since the dawn of history. But the main thrust of Christ\u2019s message is futuristic. The overall context of the Olivet prophecy readily attests to this fact. In verses 21 and 22 of Matthew 24, Christ referred to a time when the total annihilation of human life would be a distinct possibility. Only with the recent development of multiple-megaton nuclear weaponry could such an event have become a reality.<\/p>\n

The book of Revelation also underscores the fact that such tumultuous times are yet in store for the future. John\u2019s apocalyptic scenario centers around the events surrounding the Day of the Lord (Rev.1:10). In the sixth chapter we see war, famine and pestilence (the last three of the four horsemen of John\u2019s vision) riding together at this critical juncture in world history.<\/p>\n

The Pale Horseman Rides<\/strong><\/p>\n

With both the black horse of famine and the red horse of war riding roughshod over the earth, it is only natural for the pale horse of pestilence to follow hard on their heels. Ezekiel also described the devastating effect this deadly triad can have: \u201cA third part of thee shall die with the pestilence, and with famine shall they be consumed in the midst of thee: and a third part shall fall by the sword round about thee; and I will scatter a third part in to all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them\u201d (Ezek. 5:12).<\/p>\n

Parallel prophecies found in the Old Testament clearly indicate why man will continue to suffer from the ravages of disease. Notice this cause-and\u00ad effect relationship as outlined in the 28th chapter of Deuteronomy: \u201cBut if you will not obey the voice of the Lord your God,\u201d warns man\u2019s Creator, \u201cthe Lord will make the pestilence cling to you until He has consumed you from off the land, which you go to possess. The Lord will smite you with consumption [wasting, degenerative disease], with fever and inflammation [possibly infectious contagions)\u2026. and the tumors, the scurvy [deficiency disease] and the itch, of which you cannot be healed. The Lord will smite you with madness [mental disorders] and blind-ness and dismay of heart [emotional trauma]\u201d (verses 15, 21-22, 27-28, The Amplified Bible).<\/p>\n

Misgovernment, greed and oppression over the course of nearly 6000 years of history have saddled the human race with the unwanted burden of disease. (Ritter GP. 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse \u2013 The Pale Horse \u2013 Disease Epidemics, WCG booklet, 1975)<\/p>\n

THE DOOMSDAY BUG<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

There is \u2014 this very instant \u2014 a feverish international search for the ultimate \u201cdooms-day bug.\u201d The purpose? \u2014 to wipe out whole nations overnight by disease germs and chemicals. Will man\u2019s unrestrained scientific search for more horrifying weapons of mass destruction prove to be his undoing? \u2026<\/p>\n

Many scientists right now are searching for new plagues with which to decimate the human population. And they are diligently seeking deadlier strains of old viruses with which to destroy whole populations. Of course, these scientists justify their CBW research by saying it is done for defensive reasons. Just how lethal are these viruses? Do you grasp the deadly potential? \u201cIn theory one gram of chicken embryo tissue inoculated with the Q-fever organism would be sufficient to infect more than one million people\u201d (We All Fall Down, Robin Clarke). It has been estimated that one fourth of an ounce would be sufficient to infect every man, woman and child living in the British Isles! That\u2019s about 55 million! Britain is especially vulnerable to chemical or germ warfare. She is thickly crowded and normal weather conditions in Britain are favorable to that type of warfare!<\/p>\n

Botulinus, which was developed during World War II, is so deadly that it could wipe out all human life in a given area within six hours \u2014 yet leaving the target area habitable immediately after the attack. But some diseases would have a more lingering effect. \u2026<\/p>\n

Few realize that far more people have died from pestilence \u2014 from sickness and various plagues \u2014 through the course of human history, than have died in actual warfare. (McNair R. The Doomsday Bug. Plain Truth, August 1969)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Since the above items were published, scientists can now also produce genetically-modified pestilential organisms\u2013synthetic biology. Thus, there is even more devastating potential in the 21st century from biological warfare than in the 20th century. And we have seen COVID-19 in the 21st century.<\/p>\n

While the return of Jesus and the establishment of the Kingdom of God<\/a> is going to be the solution, Jesus warned that prior to that, wars and \u201cpestilences\u201d would be part of the \u201cbeginning of sorrows\u201d:<\/p>\n

7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.<\/span> 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. (Matthew 24:7-8)<\/p>\n

Jesus spoke of \u201cpestilences\u201d (Matthew 24:7) and more deaths from pestilences are prophesied:<\/p>\n

7 When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, \u201cCome and see.\u201d 8 So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth. (Revelation 6:7-8)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Notice that the \u201cbeasts of the earth\u201d will be responsible for massive amounts of deaths related to the ride of the Fourth Horseman of the Apocalypse<\/a> <\/span>(here is a link to our sermon: Fourth Horseman, COVID, and the Rise of the Beast of Revelation<\/a><\/span>).<\/p>\n

Pestilences will come. Some look to be intentional.<\/p>\n

DARPA is will not stop the prophesied deaths from a pandemic from coming!<\/p>\n
