Jesus predicted famines (Matthew 24:7) and the New Testament further predicts food inflation (Revelation 6:5-6).<\/p>\n

Yes, we are seeing food inflation. It should be pointed out that when governments print money, basically out of thin air, that is also a factor in inflation–and places like the USA have been doing that and expect to do more of that.<\/p>\n

And there are biblical reasons to conclude that inflation of food prices is NOT transitory–something much worse is coming relatively soon (cf. Jesus’ words in Matthew 24 and Revelation 6:5-6).<\/p>\n
