BRUSSELS, Nov 16 (Reuters) – The European Union is considering a joint military force of up to 5,000 troops by 2025 to intervene in a range of crises and without relying on the United States, according to a draft plan.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The “EU Rapid Deployment Capacity” should be made up of land, sea and air components that could be swapped in and out of any standing force, depending on the crisis, according to the confidential 28-page document dated Nov. 9 and seen by Reuters. https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/business\/aerospace-defense\/eu-aim-rapid-deployment-force-without-us-assets-by-2025-document-says-2021-11-16\/<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Yes, leaders in Europe want a European army that can function without the USA.<\/p>\n

While some will say a 5000 man force is not much, a larger one will come\u00a0according to the Bible:<\/p>\n

16 … the king of the north … 25 … shall stir up his power and his courage … with a great army. (Daniel 11:16, 25)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

It should be pointed out that the final King of the North<\/a> is a European leader (see Who is the King of the North?<\/a> and watch also Can You Prove that the Beast to Come is European?<\/a>).<\/p>\n

And, while the 5,000 man rapid development force has been tossed around publicly for a while, what about that which is NOT known to the public.<\/p>\n

For example, the Bible also says this European power will have “many ships” (Daniel 11:40).<\/p>\n

Have no doubts–Europe is developing its own military. The Bible says it will become the aggressor against the USA in the future per Daniel 11:39.<\/p>\n

Europe already has PESCO, its Permanent Structured Cooperation–which it formed within a year of Donald Trump becoming President of the United States–his position was used as a reason, in my view, to accelerate the move towards a stronger EU military.<\/p>\n

The Europeans are concluding that they want greater military capability as they have concerns about the USA.<\/p>\n

PESCO and a Great European Army<\/a><\/h3>\n

In November 2018, French President Macron called for a \u201ctrue European army\u201d because of China, Russia, and the USA. Some others in Europe have echoed that sentiment. On November 9, 2018, US President Donald Trump called that an insult, but the next day said that the USA wanted \u201ca very strong Europe.\u201d Emmanuel Macron referred to Donald Trump as \u201cmy friend\u201d and indicated a desire to strengthen Europe\u2019s military spending. In December 2017, 25 European nations agreed to be part of a military alliance called PESCO. Europe also has NATO and IEI. Will Europe end up with \u201ca great army\u201d? Has Donald Trump\u2019s announcement to withdraw from the 1987 Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty gotten some to say that Europe must rebel against the USA? Is the idea of a United States of Europe and a European army a \u201cparanoid fantasy\u201d or a biblical reality? Will the USA regret Europe becoming a stronger military power? Will the USA be betrayed by \u201cfriends\u201d such as its continental European allies? Does the Bible teach any or all of this? Afghanistan Loss: Pushing EU Army?<\/a><\/h3>\n

The USA has lost international prestige associated with its withdrawal from Afghanistan. Is an unintended consequence that Europe feels the need for its own autonomous army? What have leaders such as European Commission President Charles Michel, EU Foreign Policy chief Josep Borrell, Czech President Milos Zeman, former French Minister Mrs. Loiseau, and EU Commission for Economics and Taxation said about in reaction to USA actions and inactions? The Europeans developed its PESCO (Permanent Structured Cooperation) military within a year of Donald Trump becoming USA president. Is current President Joe Biden changing that direction? Will Europe end up with any army of any significance? What does the Bible teach? Dr. Thiel addresses these matters with quotes and comments.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The Europeans believe that they should dominate and make the world have peace in its image.<\/p>\n

As it turns out, the Bible shows that a leader will arise in Europe who, though talking peace, eventually will destroy places like the USA, UK, and Canada:<\/p>\n

24 His power shall be mighty, but not by his own power;
\nHe shall destroy fearfully,
\nAnd shall prosper and thrive;
\nHe shall destroy the mighty, and also the holy people.<\/p>\n

25 “Through his cunning
\nHe shall cause deceit to prosper under his rule;
\nAnd he shall exalt himself in his heart.
\nHe shall destroy many in their prosperity. (Daniel 8:24-25)<\/p>\n

39 Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain (Daniel 11:39).<\/p>\n

25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many<\/strong>: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand. (Daniel 8:25, KJV).<\/p>\n

23 And after the league is made with him he shall act deceitfully<\/strong>, for he shall come up and become strong with a small number of people. 24 He shall enter peaceably<\/strong>, even into the richest places of the province; and he shall do what his fathers have not done, nor his forefathers: he shall disperse among them the plunder, spoil, and riches; and he shall devise his plans against the strongholds, but only for a time. (Daniel 11:23-24, NKJV) <\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So this leader gives people the impression that there will be “peace” and is involved in some type of deal. This is the same leader that confirms the covenant in Daniel 9:27. The term is translated as “peace” in Daniel 8:25 is from the Hebrew term shalvah<\/em> and essentially means security. In other words, this leader will destroy “many” who are under the impression that they are secure because of some type of security and\/or trade arrangement. Such arrangements are now commonly referred to as peace deals or treaties.<\/p>\n

He will eliminate the USA and its British-descended allies. But he will also want to control all that he can.<\/p>\n

Notice more about the Beast:<\/p>\n

1 Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. 2 Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. He will be a successful military leader and the world will marvel because of his defeat of the USA and other nations (cf. Daniel 11:39-43).<\/p>\n

Europe has long been preparing moves to rise up.<\/p>\n

The days of the USA are numbered (watch Is the USA Prophesied to be Destroyed by 2028<\/a>).<\/p>\n

When will this fully be in place?<\/p>\n

After the Gospel of the Kingdom of God<\/a> has been sufficiently preached to the world as a witness by the Philadelphian Christians<\/a>, then end comes (Matthew 24:14) and the Beast<\/a> will rise up (Matthew 24:15-22, Revelation 13).<\/span><\/p>\n

We are getting closer to that day.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jesus warned many would be distracted in the end times (cf. Matthew 24:36-44). Jesus also warned:<\/p>\n

34 “But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. 35 For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.” (Luke 21:34-36)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Understand that in the end time, most Christians are NOT Philadelphian<\/a>, will not have been involved in the work Jesus wants them to be, (cf. Revelation 3:7-22) and will NOT be counted worthy to escape what will come to pass.<\/p>\n

Are you truly paying attention and doing what Jesus wants YOU to really do?<\/p>\n

The world is changing and biblical prophecies are in the process of being fulfilled.<\/p>\n
