This past Sunday night (November 23, 2008 at 10:00 pm), CGPFK’s <\/a>Ronald Weinland was on Australian television.\u00a0 Here are excerpts from the officially produced transcript:<\/p>\n

\nAs far as prophecy is concerned beginning in mid April this year we begin a period of what is known as 1260 days, and that\u2019s 3\u00bd years. A lot of people refer to it as the 3\u00bd year period of a great tribulation<\/strong> that\u2019s going to be on this earth. And that\u2019s exactly where we are in time…<\/p>\n

\nRon claims he\u2019s one of two end-time prophets, or witnesses described in Chapter 11 of Revelation.<\/p>\n

\nA few years ago God made it clear to me that I was a prophet. That time when he first began to reveal that to me I believed that I was a prophet by what\u2019s referred to in Scripture as interpretationally, in other words being able to interpret prophesies and know the meaning. And there were a lot of things that began to be given concerning the end time…<\/p>\n

5. Is apocalyptic thinking dangerous, or unhealthy?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nSuch misunderstandings could well prove dangerous\u2026Ron Weinland\u2019s interpretation of the Book of Revelation gives him \u2013 as an end-time prophet – the right to injure or even kill those who oppose him.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd if anyone wants to harm the witnesses, fire pours from their mouth and consumes their foes; anyone who wants to harm them must be killed in this manner\u2026 They have authority over the waters to turn them into blood, and to strike the earth with every kind of plague\u201d.

\nI am not at ease fully with this yet. God is teaching me things as we go along here. I cannot imagine saying certain things that are going to be responsible for the death of people. But yet again I can, because there are certain things going to take place where God is going to intervene and destroy millions, literally hundreds, a few hundred million right there at the very end and on the very last day before Jesus Christ returns…<\/p>\n

\nOftentimes people ask me the question of whether or not I feel that I\u2019m wrong<\/strong>, or \u2018What if?\u2019 They keep asking, \u2018What if? What if?\u2019 How can I answer that? To me there is no \u2018What if?\u2019 It is. It is what it is. And there is no doubt in my mind, as sure as the sun\u2019s coming up in the morning, and it\u2019s going down this evening, this afternoon. Of course, unless Ronald Weinland mispoke when he said April, this must have been taped long ago as Ronald Weinland changed when the\u00a0 3 1\/2 years (1260 days) started from April 17, 2008 until December 14, 2008 (see Ronald Weinland\u2019s 1290 Days Started, Again, Today<\/a>)–thus he altered much, and thus his statement was ABSOLUTELY wrong. His CGPFK’s<\/a> website now claims:<\/p>\n

1260 Days:<\/span> The blowing of the first Trumpet will occur\/occurred on the 14th of December, 2008. This is the beginning of the Great Tribulation and 3 1\/2 years until the return of Jesus Christ on the day of Pentecost. The beginning of the fall of the USA and other Israelite countries begins from the start of the 1260 days. God will reveal this period of time for the first Four Trumpets of 6 to 12 months.<\/p>\n

Thus, this is an alteration from April 17, 2008.<\/p>\n

Also, Ronald Weinland has shown no hesitation about pronouncing his curses of death to COG leaders and anyone who is critical of his false teachings (see Ronald Weinland Again Calls for Death<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Sadly, many are listening to his message because of the turmoils in the world.\u00a0 However, as regular readers of this news page are aware, while we may be near the time that Jesus referred to as “the beginning of sorrows”, the Great Tribulation (the 1260 days) cannot begin for at least 3 1\/2 years from now, which means that it cannot start prior to 2012.<\/p>\n

Those who look to Ronald Weinland more than their Bibles will continue to be deceived.\u00a0 Here are two prophecies that seem to apply to Ronald Weinland:<\/p>\n

21 “And if you say in your heart, ‘How shall we know the word which the LORD has not spoken?’– 22 when a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him (Deuteronomy 18:21-22).<\/p>\n

1 But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. 2 And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. 3 By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words<\/strong>; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber (2 Peter 2:1-3).<\/p>\n

Ronald Weinland needs to repent and those following him need to check out what the Bible warns against false and heretical leaders like him.<\/p>\n

Those who really want to know what the Bible teaches will happen related to the the 1335 days, the 1290 days, and the 1260 days of Daniel, when the 6000 years should end, etc. should read the following articles:<\/em><\/p>\n

\nEnd of Mayan Calendar 2012\u2013Might 2012 Mean Something?<\/a> There is a Mayan calendar prediction for change in 2012. 2012 changes were also centuries ago predicted by the Hopi Native Americans (the Hindus may have some predictions for the next decade as well). Do these Mayan\/Hindu\/Hopi prophecies have any value? Why might Satan have inspired this date? Does the Dresden codex show destruction of the earth by flood?
