In an interview with The Times, the 58-year-old said: ‘We won’t have the weight and influence a country like Britain needs unless we’re part of that European power as well.<\/span><\/p>\n

‘Europe has got a fantastic opportunity, but only if it’s prepared to reform and change radically in the way it works.’<\/span><\/p>\n

The current EU President, Herman van Rompuy, was essentially appointed.<\/p>\n

Tony Blair made the news about four years ago when he became a Roman Catholic<\/a> (see also Tony Blair a Catholic EU Leader?)<\/a>–and I have wondered if he partially did this to increase his influence in the EU. \u00a0 His name was promoted by several years ago who wanted to see him become the first real President of the European Union.<\/p>\n

Europe will end up with a powerful leader.\u00a0 One that the Bible refers to as the Beast (Revelation 13:1-9) and the final King of the North, and I have never believed that it would be Tony Blair as he is British.\u00a0 It should be understood that ultimately, Britain will NOT thrive as part of the EU but will be taken over by the final European Beast power–yet its former Prime Minister is promoting something that will not help the peoples of the UK.<\/p>\n

As far as this “Beast King” goes, he could possibly be the next EU president, but a restructure ultimately will be needed in Europe for the King of the North to have the type of power that the Bible indicate he will have (Revelation 17:12-13).\u00a0 The EU is not ready for that yet.<\/p>\n

However, Tony Blair’s statements are one more step towards those prophesies being fulfilled as he is calling for a stronger president with more power–and that is something the the final King of the North will have (Daniel 11:27-40).\u00a0 A leader will take over the UK, USA, and their Anglo-allies according to Bible prophecy.<\/p>\n
