Why The Digital Dollar Will Destroy Free Speech<\/h2>\n

June 4, 2021<\/p>\n

Sunsets glitter over the Pacific.\u00a0 Poppies bloom\u00a0cupa de oro<\/em>\u00a0in the spring.\u00a0 The Golden Gate Bridge shines through the foggy San Francisco Bay.<\/p>\n

These glimmers of gold may remain.\u00a0 But\u00a0over the last 50 years, the Golden State\u2019s luster has systematically been stripped away by sociopaths and egomaniacs in government.<\/strong> …<\/p>\n

State Senator Richard Pan \u2013 an\u00a0absolute dill<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 has a mental fixation with controlling what people post to the world wide web.<\/strong>\u00a0 In 2018, Pan introduced\u00a0SB1424<\/a>, \u201cInternet: social media: advisory group\u201d.<\/p>\n

If outgoing Governor Jerry \u201cMoonbeam\u201d Brown hadn\u2019t vetoed SB1424, it would have required the state Attorney General to establish an advisory committee to review and create a plan to stop the\u00a0\u201cspread of false information through internet-based social media platforms.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The plan, before vetoed, contemplated requiring California based websites to use fact checkers to verify news stories prior to publishing them.\u00a0 Who exactly would be the fact checkers was undefined.\u00a0 Brown had the common sense to reject it.<\/p>\n

Yet now Senator Pan is at it again.\u00a0 This time with\u00a0SB1390<\/a>, \u201cSocial media platforms: amplification of harmful content\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The bill, in short, prohibits any person\/entity from making statements the government deems untrue or misleading by any means including on the internet\/ads.\u00a0 Here\u2019s an extract:<\/p>\n

\u201cThis bill would prohibit a social media platform, as defined, from amplifying harmful content in a manner that results in a user viewing harmful content from another user with whom the user did not choose to share a connection. \u00a0[\u2026]\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cThe bill would provide that harmful content includes libel or slander, as specified, threats of imminent violence against governmental entities, and disinformation or misinformation, including, but not limited to, false or misleading information regarding medicine or vaccinations, false or misleading information regarding elections, and conspiracy theories.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The bill would also require the establishment of a complaint process\u2026where users report what they perceive to be harmful content to a database.\u00a0 Complaints would then be tracked and shared with the Attorney General.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Social media platforms would then be required to remove \u201charmful\u201d content within 24 hours of receiving notice from the Attorney General. Moreover, violators could be subject to \u201ccivil penalties\u201d.<\/p>\n

The bill, in essence, gives government the power to decide what speech is legal and illegal based on some perceived idea of what\u2019s false or misleading.\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0But how does government know what\u2019s false or misleading any better than the rest of us?<\/p>\n

Why the Digital Dollar will Destroy Free Speech<\/strong><\/u><\/h3>\n

Remember,\u00a0last year\u2019s conspiracy theory often become this year\u2019s truth.<\/strong>\u00a0 Less than a year ago, for example, claiming the National Institute of Health funded gain-of-function research on bat coronaviruses at China\u2019s Wuhan lab was a conspiracy theory.\u00a0 Now it is a\u00a0documented fact<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Yet, under Senator Pan\u2019s proposed bill, anyone who posted such a claim prior to the NIH\u2019s confession would have been reported to the Attorney General. \u00a0These posts would then have been removed within 24 hours or civil penalties could be enforced.<\/p>\n

Government regulation of speech, no doubt, is the exploit of despots and tyrants.\u00a0 It has no place in a free society.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Senator Pan may not be a despot,\u00a0per se<\/em>.\u00a0 But he does think he\u2019s smarter than you.\u00a0 He also thinks he\u2019s a better arbiter of fact and fiction than you are.\u00a0 He\u2019s not.<\/p>\n

When government officials decide what is true or false, or what views are acceptable and allowed to be shared, whether by benevolence or ideological agenda, individual rights are destroyed.<\/p>\n

You see, the loss of free speech in society always coincides with the loss of economic freedom and financial privacy.\u00a0 And this goes much deeper than California\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sacramento is an absolute dumpster fire.\u00a0 But at least these terrible ideas must go through the state legislative process.<\/p>\n

Washington, on the other hand, and in concert with big tech and mainstream media, has already been censoring free speech\u00a0 on social media for many years.\u00a0 Ideological based algorithms ferret out opinions that are not acceptable to the popular narrative.<\/p>\n

Yet this is just the beginning.\u00a0 Washington is currently building the infrastructure to suppress free speech by tying it to social credit.\u00a0 This would be extended to control and constrain how and when you spend your money.<\/strong>\u00a0 04\/08\/22 https:\/\/www.blacklistednews.com\/article\/82321\/why-the-digital-dollar-will-destroy-free.htm<\/a>l<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Yes, digital currencies will lead to governments being able to track what people buy and sell.<\/p>\n

Was freedom of free speech and of the press prophesied?<\/p>\n

Yes.<\/p>\n

In a November 22, 1982 co-worker letter, Herbert Armstrong wrote:<\/p>\n

So, the Bible tells of a time that will come when the word of God will not be found. And that would seem to be because it will be taken off the internet. In the 21st century, the internet is accessed by people in every country, and thus some type of internet restriction\/suspension\/site removal is coming.<\/p>\n

Now, in the USA as well as out of it, we are seeing more and more calls for speech restrictions, monitoring, and censorship.<\/p>\n

As far as a “social credit score” goes, for years, Facebook has already categorized people based on what they post, don’t post, and the views of their online “friends.” Google and YouTube are shadow-banning content they do not want people to see. Some voices in the USA and Canada have had bank accounts closed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Bible foretells such a time where without something to come, one cannot buy or sell:<\/p>\n

15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.<\/p>\n

18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666. (Revelation 13:15-18)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The above prophecy points to there being the ability to control of buying and selling, as well as there being enforcers of the mark of the beast. We are also seeing things like electronic money (including those referred to as digital currencies), which did not exist a century ago, get more widespread acceptance. Electronic money will make 666’s enforcement possible.<\/p>\n

And we see from Bible prophecy that 666’s plan will involve both economic and murderous persecution.<\/p>\n

Now, it is true that Revelation 13 has to do with Europe, but what is happening in the USA is helping ‘pave the way’ for 666.<\/p>\n

Electronic\/digital currencies help make 666 enforcement possible.<\/p>\n

We are getting closer to the time the 666 prophecy will be fulfilled.<\/p>\n
