The US Army is having problems getting recruits:<\/p>\n

Congressional candidate and Army veteran Cory Mills, R-Fla., called out the woke agendas pushed by President Biden and the Department of Defense. On “Fox & Friends First<\/a>” Thursday, Mills criticized the military for prioritizing CRT and pronouns over strength on the world stage, as military recruitment drops.<\/p>\n

They are already trying to look at the ideas of reducing the recruitment strategies.\u00a0They already knew that their prioritization of forcing unconstitutional mandates to purge our military leadership that wasn’t loyal to the <\/i>Biden and secretary of defense’s<\/i><\/a> agenda was going to start having an impact again.\u00a0When I was in the military, we used to look at things like increased lethality, readiness and being properly equipped. But now\u00a0this military is focused on things like gender inclusion, equity and CRT, critical race theory, as well as what pronouns we use.\u00a0Every time that Joe Biden continues to do this, he weakens us on the world stage. And\u00a0we’ve seen this time and time again, whether it’s weakness from an energy independence perspective, whether it’s weakness from an economic perspective, and now where it’s intentional, that is <\/i>weakening our military<\/i><\/a>.\u00a0So we can’t respond to any adversarial nations.\u00a0\u00a0<\/i>https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/army-veteran-biden-woke-military-struggling-recruit-weakening-world-stage<\/a><\/p>\n

The Army is forecasted to fall short of its recruiting and retention goals over the next two years by tens of thousands of troops, top Army leaders warned in a memo released Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Army Secretary Christine Wormuth and chief of staff of the Army Gen. James McConville wrote the Army will end the fiscal year with 466,400 soldiers, close to 20,000 fewer than the budgeted target, and could further decrease to between 445,000-452,000 by the end of the 2023 fiscal year. .<\/p>\n

The memo from Wormuth and McConville cited the post-COVID<\/a><\/span> labor market, competition with the private sector, and a declining number of young people who are qualified and want to serve. …<\/p>\n

Vice Chief of Staff of the Army Gen. Joseph Martin said that recruiting “motivated, fit and academically proficient” young men and women is a challenge.<\/p>\n

“Only 23% of military-age men and women in the United States are qualified to serve and that does not even reflect propensity,” Martin told lawmakers. https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/army-recruiting-goals-projected-missed-2022-20223\/<\/a><\/p>\n

With just two and a half months to go in the fiscal year, the Army has achieved just 50% of its recruiting goal of 60,000 soldiers, according to Lt. Col. Randee Farrell, spokeswoman for Army Secretary Christine Wormuth. …<\/p>\n

Cutting the size of the Army is the best option, said Wormuth.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Army is facing our most challenging recruiting environment since the inception of the all-volunteer force. This is not a one-year challenge. We will not solve this overnight,\u201d she said, adding that the service is looking at a wide range of steps to recruit more soldiers without lowering standards or sacrificing quality.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are facing a very fundamental question,\u201d she added. \u201cDo we lower standards to meet end strength, or do we lower end strength to maintain a quality, professional force? Woke and illogical policies are also affecting recruitment.<\/p>\n

One government policy that is believed to be unscientific is the vaccine mandate as the Associated Press reported:<\/p>\n

While Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin has stated that mandatory COVID-19 vaccination is needed to protect the health and readiness of the armed forces, Steven J. Hatfill, M.D.,<\/a> writing in the summer issue<\/a> of the Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons<\/em>, states that this policy has the potential to generate both short and long-term incapacitating side effects in our Special Operations soldiers.<\/p>\n

Current mRNA products create only a short-term immunity to the original viral strains, he writes, and cannot reliably prevent infection with the now dominant strains. He refers to an Israeli study of 2.5 million patients, which found that fully vaccinated individuals were 6 to 13 times more likely to get infected with some SARS-CoV-2 variants than individuals who developed a natural exposure from a previous COVID-19 infection. …<\/p>\n

\u201cMilitary readiness,\u201d he concludes, \u201cshould be protected with early detection and diagnosis, plus early treatment and prophylaxis with a combination of safe repurposed drugs and immunologic support, rather than mandated use of incompletely tested novel products with potential serious adverse effects.\u201d https:\/\/apnews.com\/press-release\/globe-newswire\/covid-health-lloyd-austin-7642fa7d30d1180e9ab5ee9f2583b377<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Yet, the Army has been insistent on vaccines, so that is causing problems:<\/p>\n

(The Center Square) \u2013 Roughly 40,000 National Guard and 22,000 Reserve soldiers who refuse to take the COVID-19 vaccines have been cut off from their military benefits, according to the U.S. Army.<\/p>\n

“Soldiers who refuse the vaccination order without an approved or pending exemption request are subject to adverse administrative actions, including flags, bars to service, and official reprimands,” an Army spokesperson said in a statement.<\/p>\n

As of July 1, this included 13% of the Army Guard and 12% of the Reserve, according to the announcement.<\/p>\n

Additionally, none of the 3,000 religious exemption requests filed by those in the Guard and Reserve were granted. The U.S. Army is hemorrhaging people. The Army\u2019s vice chief of staff, Gen. Joseph M. Martin, confirmed at a House Armed Services Subcommittee on Readiness hearing on Tuesday that the regular Army is poised to fall nearly 19,000 soldiers short of its staffing target, or end strength, in fiscal 2022. … On top of those gaps, the Army may soon discharge another 20,000 soldiers, in both the regular and reservist forces, who have refused to get the coronavirus vaccine. …<\/p>\n

The reasons abound behind the shrinking pool of those willing and able to join the Army and to stay in it. The factors range from a challenging post-pandemic recruiting environment to signs of declining morale among those currently in the service to a population of potential recruits that has shrunk due to factors such as obesity and lack of education. https:\/\/rollcall.com\/2022\/07\/19\/army-tells-house-panel-of-enormous-personnel-shortfalls\/<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The vaccine matters cannot be helping recruitment efforts.<\/p>\n

As far as obesity goes, this has been affecting US military recruitment for years:<\/p>\n

Widespread Obesity Makes Trump\u2019s Military Recruitment Goals a Challenge<\/h2>\n

WASHINGTON – As he reveled in the huge display of military might during last week\u2019s Independence Day celebration on the National Mall, U.S. President Donald Trump encouraged Americans to enlist in the military.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo young Americans across our country, now is your chance to join our military and make a truly great statement in life, and you should do it,\u201d Trump said in his speech at the Lincoln Memorial.<\/p>\n

Speaking to reporters outside the White House the following day, Trump predicted that his display would boost military enlistment. \u201cBased on that, we\u2019re going to have a lot of people joining our military,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

However, with a 2016 Department of Defense report<\/a> finding that nearly three-quarters of young Americans are unfit to serve in America\u2019s military, Trump\u2019s encouragement and military display may not be enough to reverse declining military recruitment.<\/p>\n

According to the Department of Defense, the Navy, Marines, and Air Force met their recruiting goals in 2018<\/a>, but the Army, the military\u2019s largest branch, fell more than 6,500 recruits short \u2013 about 8% below its target of 76,500.<\/p>\n

A 2018 report by Mission: Readiness<\/a>, a group of 750 retired military professionals that makes policy recommendations to increase the percentage of young Americans eligible to serve in the military, found that 71% of Americans between the ages of 17 and 24 fail to meet all of the basic requirements for military service.<\/p>\n

The biggest disqualifier is obesity, with roughly 31% of American youths disqualified because they are overweight. Other factors explaining the shortage of eligible recruits are inadequate education, criminal history and drug use. According to Army Major Gen. (Ret.) Allen Youngman, a member of Mission: Readiness, almost 25% of high school graduates are unable to pass the basic military entrance exams, which not only disqualifies them from technical positions within the service but also from military service as a whole. https:\/\/www.voanews.com\/usa\/widespread-obesity-makes-trumps-military-recruitment-goals-challenge<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Bible opposes obesity.<\/p>\n

Here is what Moses and Jeremiah were inspired to write about obesity thousands of years ago:<\/p>\n

15 You grew fat, you grew thick,
\nYou are obese!
\nThen he forsook God who made him,
\nAnd scornfully esteemed the Rock of his salvation.
\n16 They provoked Him to jealousy with foreign gods;
\nWith abominations they provoked Him to anger. (Deuteronomy 32:15-16)<\/p>\n

11 \u201cBecause you were glad, because you rejoiced,
\nYou destroyers of My heritage,
\nBecause you have grown fat like a heifer threshing grain,
\nAnd you bellow like bulls,
\n12 Your mother shall be deeply ashamed;
\nShe who bore you shall be ashamed.
\nBehold, the least of the nations shall be a wilderness,
\nA dry land and a desert. (Jeremiah 50:11-12)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The idea that one should not be obese is not a new one.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the Bible warns about gluttony as well as eating things that are not really food:<\/p>\n

20 Do not mix with winebibbers, Or with gluttonous eaters of meat; 21 For the drunkard and the glutton will come to poverty (Proverbs 23:20-21)<\/p>\n

2 Why do you spend money for what is not bread,
\nAnd your wages for what does not satisfy?
\nListen carefully to Me, and eat what is good (Isaiah 55:2).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Do not overeat. Avoiding artificial sweeteners, chemical additives, excess refined sugar, and some other items commonly associated with junk foods would seem to be consistent with the warning to eat what is good.<\/p>\n

Many people do not often eat what is good. Many eat too many chemically-laced, highly-processed foods. Many eat a lot of white bread, which is really not real bread as it has had the wheat germ and other natural components removed. This makes an inferior product which then is sprayed with synthetic B vitamins and other \u201cnutrients\u201d to \u201cfortify\u201d it. If you notice \u201cB vitamins\u201d added to \u201cfortify\u201d refined grain products or in so-called \u201cnatural\u201d vitamin supplements (like thiamin mononitrate, thiamin HCL, folic acid, pantothenic acid, pyridoxine hydrochloride, cyanocobalamin), realize that these are basically petroleum derivatives and are not the same form of vitamins that are actually found in real, natural, food.<\/p>\n

But most in Westernized areas consume the synthetics, chemicals, and refined grains.<\/p>\n

People should try to eat real, not artificial, foods. Soda consumption should be almost non-existent, essentially a very rare treat. People should not drink sodas every day.<\/p>\n

And while they do not like to believe this, almost all obese people also need to eat less.<\/p>\n

Losing weight can be very, very difficult. But real Christians should believe the following:<\/p>\n

13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

With prayer and proper determination, breaking away from being obese can happen.<\/p>\n

The Biden-Harris Administration is pushing wokeness over military readiness.<\/p>\n

Reducing the size of its military, while it also becomes more ‘woke,’ makes the USA a weaker target.<\/p>\n

That being said, the US is prophesied to lose militarily in the relatively near future (cf. Daniel 11:39).<\/p>\n

Policy issues, health issues, and ignoring biblical prophecies will end up being factors for the coming defeat of the USA.<\/p>\n
