It\u2019s definitely tanking more anyway. . . . <strong>What makes things even worse for the world is the dollar going up and not down.\u00a0 <\/strong>This is because you had all these emerging markets issue debt in dollars&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>They were borrowing in dollars because it was a cheaper interest rate, and they had no concept of the foreign exchange risk&#8230;This happened in Australia.\u00a0 The currency swings, and, now, suddenly you owe 20% more&#8230;.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>You had the same thing with all these emerging markets. . . . <strong>Now, the dollar is going up and you are seeing bank runs.<\/strong>\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Armstrong says not only is the euro dramatically declining, but the euro bonds are being shunned by U.S. banks.\u00a0<strong> This is another bad financial sign for the EU.\u00a0 <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/geopolitical\/2023-will-be-year-hell-martin-armstrong-warns-inflation-driven-civil-unrest\">https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/geopolitical\/2023-will-be-year-hell-martin-armstrong-warns-inflation-driven-civil-unrest<\/a><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The late Herbert W. Armstrong (no relationship to Martin Armstrong) pointed to a banking crisis involving the USA, as something that would lead to the rise of the Beast in Europe. Martin Armstrong&#8217;s comments are consistent with that.<\/p>\n<p>As I have written for over a decade, we will see civil unrest in Europe. Civil unrest in Europe will be a factor leading to the rise of the Beast of Revelation 13, also called the King of the North in Daniel 11.<\/p>\n<p>The USA itself is also facing the prospect of civil unrest. The journal Science reports that almost half of Americans expect a civil war:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h2 class=\"news-article__hero__title\">Half of Americans anticipate a U.S. civil war soon, survey finds<\/h2>\n<p>Violence can seem to be everywhere in the United States, and political violence is in the spotlight &#8230; a large study confirms one in five Americans believes violence motivated by political reasons is\u2014at least sometimes\u2014justified. Nearly half expect a civil war, and many say they would trade democracy for a strong leader, <a href=\"https:\/\/medrxiv.org\/cgi\/content\/short\/2022.07.15.22277693v1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">a preprint posted today on medRxiv found<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is not a study that\u2019s meant to shock,\u201d says Rachel Kleinfeld, a political violence expert at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace who was not involved in the research. \u201cBut it should be shocking.\u201d &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>He and his colleagues surveyed more than 8600 adults in English and Spanish about their views on democracy in the United States, racial attitudes in U.S. society, and their own attitudes toward political violence. &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Although almost all respondents thought it\u2019s important for the United States to remain a democracy, about 40% said having a strong leader is more important. Half expect a civil war in the United States in the next few years. (The survey didn\u2019t specify when.) \u201cThe fact that basically half the country is expecting a civil war is just chilling,\u201d Wintemute says. And many expect to take part. If found in a situation where they think violence is justified to advance an important political objective, about one in five respondents thinks they will likely be armed with a gun. It has politicized more and more.<\/p>\n<p>The USA is more and more deeply divided.<\/p>\n<p>Instead of fighting each other, love is what is needed.<\/p>\n<p>As Jesus taught:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>37 &#8230; &#8220;&#8216;You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.&#8217; 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: &#8216;You shall love your neighbor as yourself.&#8217; 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.&#8221; (Matthew 22:37-40)<\/p>\n<p>27 &#8220;But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you. 29 To him who strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also. And from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic either. 30 Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back. 31 And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise.<\/p>\n<p>32 &#8220;But if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. 33 And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. 34 And if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive back, what credit is that to you? For even sinners lend to sinners to receive as much back. 35 But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil. 36 Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful. (Luke 6:27-36)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Instead of true love, a lot of hate and anger has been displayed and whipped up.<\/p>\n<p>Troubles are prophesied (Mark 13:8).<\/p>\n<p>Food price inflation is prophesied (Revelation 6:5-6).<\/p>\n<p>War and lack of peace is prophesied (Matthew 24:4-8; Revelation 6:3-4).<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the Bible warns, \u201c<strong>There shall be terror within<\/strong>\u201d (Deuteronomy 32:25).<\/p>\n<p>As far as cities and nations go, notice the following from the prophet Ezekiel:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>23 &#8216;Make a chain,<br \/>\nFor the land is filled with crimes of blood,<br \/>\nAnd the city is full of violence.<br \/>\n24 Therefore I will bring the worst of the Gentiles,<br \/>\nAnd they will possess their houses;<br \/>\nI will cause the pomp of the strong to cease,<br \/>\nAnd their holy places shall be defiled.<br \/>\n25 Destruction comes;<br \/>\nThey will seek peace, but there shall be none.<br \/>\n26 Disaster will come upon disaster,<br \/>\nAnd rumor will be upon rumor.<br \/>\nThen they will seek a vision from a prophet;<br \/>\nBut the law will perish from the priest,<br \/>\nAnd counsel from the elders. (Ezekiel 7:23-26)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Yes, more disaster is coming.<\/p>\n<p>But most, including most Christians, will not heed until after it is a bit too late (see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cogwriter.com\/cog-leaders-prophets.htm\">Church of God Leaders on Prophets<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ccog.org\/does-the-ccog-have-the-confirmed-signs-of-acts-217-18\/\">Does the CCOG have the confirmed signs of Acts 2:17-18?<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Notice the violence is prophesied to get worse.<\/p>\n<p>The old Radio Church of God published the following:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>What Lies AHEAD?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"font_text\">Speaking to the modern British and American peoples, God says through Ezekiel: \u201cMake a chain: for the land is full of BLOODY CRIMES, and the city is full of VIOLENCE. Wherefore I will bring the worst of the heathen, and they shall possess their houses: I will also make the pomp of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be defiled\u201d (Ezek. 7:23-24). <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"font_text\">The foregoing prophecy \u2014 written over one hundred years after the previous punishment and captivity of the nation of Israelis referring specifically to what lies just ahead for our peoples! \u2026 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>What YOU Should Do<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"font_text\">The true Christian should take NO PART in the coming racial strife and violence, one way or the other. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"font_text\">Rather, he should follow Jesus\u2019 example, when He said, \u201cMy kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now my kingdom is not from hence\u201d (<a class=\"rtBibleRef\" href=\"https:\/\/biblia.com\/bible\/nkjv\/John%2018.36\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-reference=\"John 18.36\" data-version=\"nkjv\" data-purpose=\"bible-reference\">John 18:36<\/a>). When you read the Bible account, you will see that Christ took NO PART in the politics or wars of His time. He came to love and serve His fellow man, and preach a Message of OBEDIENCE to the laws of God. He taught respect and submission to the laws of man as long as human kingdoms are allowed by God to continue governing. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"font_text\">God tells the true Christian to remain APART from this world\u2019s societies, competitions and hates. Through the Apostle Paul, He commands: Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye SEPARATE, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, and will be a father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty\u201d (II Cor. 6:17-18). <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"font_text\">So the attitude of the true Christian is that of a stranger and pilgrim on the earth, looking for a city or nation whose Builder and Maker is God (Heb. 11:13-16). \u201cFor our citizenship [correct Greek rendering] is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ\u201d (Phil. 2:20). <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"font_text\">The true Christian is here on earth as a REPRESENTATIVE of the Kingdom of God which will soon come to earth. For Jesus Christ is soon to be established as King of kings and Lord of lords over ALL races, nations and peoples!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Prepare for YOUR PART in God\u2019s GOVERNMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"font_text\">Our purpose and our prayers should be preparing for this Kingdom \u2014 learning to submit our will to that of our Maker \u2014 and learning His WAYS and His LAWS that we may teach them to others in the World Tomorrow. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"font_text\">Man is utterly FAILING to solve the race problem. But it WILL be solved with justice, wisdom and love \u2014 when Jesus Christ returns to RULE this earth! <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"font_text\">You need to prove to yourself the REALITY of God and His living laws. Practicing obedience as a way of life, you will be able to say with David: \u201cOh how love I thy law! It is my meditation all the day. Thou through thy commandments halt made me wiser than my enemies: for they are ever with me. I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation\u201d (Ps. 119:97-99). <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"font_text\">Then, in the World Tomorrow, we will help rule this earth with Christ (Rev. 5:9-10) and teach the people of this earth GOD\u2019S way to peace, equality and joy. \u201cAnd we will walk in his paths: for the LAW shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more\u201d (Micah 4:2-3). <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"font_text\">God speed that day! (Isaiah 1:4-7)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The time of Jacob\u2019s trouble (Jeremiah 30:7), also known as the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cogwriter.com\/when-will-the-great-tribulation-begin.htm\">Great Tribulation<\/a> (Matthew 24:21), is coming and the USA and its Anglo-Saxon allies (including Canada) will be affected.<\/p>\n<p>National repentance is the only way to prevent it, and that does not look likely. Personal repentance, however, is still possible.
