{"id":76716,"date":"2022-08-02T15:00:21","date_gmt":"2022-08-02T23:00:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cogwriter.com\/news\/?p=76716"},"modified":"2022-08-02T06:28:36","modified_gmt":"2022-08-02T14:28:36","slug":"lying-about-the-economy-will-only-make-the-coming-crash-worse","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cogwriter.com\/news\/prophecy\/lying-about-the-economy-will-only-make-the-coming-crash-worse\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;Lying About The Economy Will Only Make The Coming Crash Worse&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">The fact is America is in a stronger economic position today than just about any other country in the world.<\/p>\n<p>Independent experts have even projected that the U.S. economy could grow faster than China\u2019s economy this year.<\/p>\n<p>That hasn\u2019t happened since 1976.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 President Biden (@POTUS) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/POTUS\/status\/1534174507967053829?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 7, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><br \/>\n<a href=\"\/cogwriter.htm\">COGwriter<\/a><\/p>\n<p>ZeroHedge posted the following submitted by <em><a href=\"https:\/\/quoththeraven.substack.com\/\">QTR&#8217;s Fringe Finance<\/a><\/em>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h2 class=\"ArticleFull_title__MEgbb\">Lying About The Economy Will Only Make The Coming Crash Worse<\/h2>\n<p>August 2, 2022<\/p>\n<p>I really don\u2019t know how to describe the disturbing trend over the last few months of the Biden administration, along with Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, simply lying to the American people about the economy.<\/p>\n<p>Months worth of political spin has culminated in embarrassing recent attempts to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/quoththeraven.substack.com\/p\/delusional-white-house-economists\" rel=\"\">redefine the word<\/a>\u00a0\u201crecession\u201d: a futile effort to pull the wool over an American public that is growing increasingly suspect both Biden and Yellen\u2019s competence to be overseeing the the country, and the economy, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>By now, the administration\u2019s pathetic falsehood of a narrative about our economy has been called out, ridiculed, dismantled and generally beaten to death by anyone with a shred of common sense.<\/p>\n<p>However, there is something far more important that people\u00a0<em>aren\u2019t<\/em>\u00a0talking about:\u00a0<strong>the administration lying about the health of the economy could wind up exacerbating any financial crisis that we have in the near future.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Put simply, the more you tell people that \u201ceverything is fine\u201d when it isn\u2019t, the more surprised and shocked they are going to be when markets start to panic.<\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t think a market crash is an outrageous scenario that has no chance of happening, either. &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>But most importantly, let\u2019s get one thing straight: the Biden administration re-assuring the American public that everything is fine economically, when it isn\u2019t, is only going to make matters worse.<\/p>\n<p>The American public will be that much more\u00a0<strong>surprised<\/strong>\u00a0when they can no longer service their debt because rates have moved higher.<\/p>\n<p>They\u2019ll be even more\u00a0<strong>surprised<\/strong>\u00a0that there are no more stimulus checks on the horizon.<\/p>\n<p>The average American will also be\u00a0<strong>surprised<\/strong>\u00a0when the market starts to crash because of a 2% hike in rates. Most people don\u2019t grasp how seismic of a move in rates that is for the amount of debt outstanding that we have.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, the American public\u00a0is going to be\u00a0<strong>surprised<\/strong>\u00a0when everybody capitulates and they become part of the deleveraging snowball effect.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The veracity and intensity with which the American public starts to panic once the economic screws get tighter will be a direct result of how the current administration is calibrating their expectations for the economy going forward.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Telling the public that we\u2019re not in a recession isn\u2019t Keynesian economics, it\u2019s Keynesian double speak. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/markets\/lying-about-economy-will-only-make-coming-crash-worse\">https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/markets\/lying-about-economy-will-only-make-coming-crash-worse<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The Bible warns about lying (see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cogwriter.com\/TenCommandments.pdf\">The Ten Commandments: The Decalogue, Christianity, and the Beast<\/a>) as well as certain forms of economic lying.<\/p>\n<p>One example is the diluting of the value of currency (called \u201cdross\u201d anciently), which is what the USA has been doing with its debt and quantitative easing policies:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>4 Take away the dross from silver (Proverbs 25:4a).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>22 Your silver has become dross, Your wine mixed with water. (Isaiah 1:22)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>25 I will turn My hand against you, And thoroughly purge away your dross, And take away all your alloy. (Isaiah 1:25)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>18 \u201cSon of man, the house of Israel has become dross to Me; they are all bronze, tin, iron, and lead, in the midst of a furnace; they have become dross from silver. 19 Therefore thus says the Lord God: \u2018Because you have all become dross, therefore behold, I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem. 20 As men gather silver, bronze, iron, lead, and tin into the midst of a furnace, to blow fire on it, to melt it; so I will gather you in My anger and in My fury, and I will leave you there and melt you. 21 Yes, I will gather you and blow on you with the fire of My wrath, and you shall be melted in its midst. 22 As silver is melted in the midst of a furnace, so shall you be melted in its midst; then you shall know that I, the Lord, have poured out My fury on you.\u2019\u201d (Ezekiel 22:18-22)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Although the Bible warns against using dross and diluting the money supply, many modern \u2018experts\u2019 have a different view. The wrong views on economics will lead to economic problems and ultimately the <em>total crash<\/em> of the dollar of the USA. China, Russia, and others see some of this.<\/p>\n<p>The USA has more problems than not just lying about its economy. Having &#8216;woke&#8221; and people appointed for their politics in high economic positions has a cost.<\/p>\n<p>Five years ago, the then head of US Federal Reserve, Janet Yellen, said it was possible that there would be no more financial crises &#8220;in our lifetimes:&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>June 28, 2017<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>Responding to a question on financial system stability, Yellen said post-crisis regulations (and $2.5 trillion in excess reserves which just happen to be fungible and give the banks the <em><strong>impression <\/strong><\/em>that they are safe) had made financial institutions much \u201csafer and sounder.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Will I say there will never, ever be another financial crisis? No, probably that would be going too far. But I do think we\u2019re much safer <strong>and I hope that it will not be in our lifetimes and I don\u2019t believe it will.<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Some were quick to compare this statement to Neville Chamberlain infamous &#8211; and very, very wrong &#8211; 1938 prediction of &#8220;peace in our time.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Others drew comparisons to a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/news\/2014-05-17\/bernanke-shocker-no-rate-normalization-during-my-lifetime\">similar bold prediction by Ben Bernanke<\/a>, who in 2014 predicted during one of his $250,000\/hour speeches that &#8220;rates would not normalize during my lifetime.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Yet others, who noted Janet Yellen&#8217;s 70 years of age, asked her to &#8220;define <em><strong>our <\/strong><\/em>lifetime.&#8221; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/news\/2017-06-27\/yellen-i-dont-believe-we-will-see-another-crisis-our-lifetime\">http:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/news\/2017-06-27\/yellen-i-dont-believe-we-will-see-another-crisis-our-lifetime<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I disagreed then and wrote the following:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>We are NOT much safer. While it is possible that Janet Yellen will die before the start of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cogwriter.com\/when-will-the-great-tribulation-begin.htm\">Great Tribulation<\/a>, her implication is that the Federal Reserve knows enough now and has enough financial controls to prevent financial crises for at least the next sixteen years (I said sixteen years because the normal life expectancy for a 70 year old white female in the USA is 16.4 additional years per <a href=\"http:\/\/life-span.healthgrove.com\/l\/71\/70\">http:\/\/life-span.healthgrove.com\/l\/71\/70<\/a>). But if she meant her audience, then it may be she is asserting that she does not believe a financial crisis can happen for several decades. This is an arrogant belief.<\/p>\n<p>The Bible teaches:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">18 Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall. (Proverbs 16:18)<\/p>\n<p>It is prideful arrogance that gets humans to think that they can essentially completely control the economy. They cannot. Weather, political events, diseases, wars, morality, technology, and other factors play a role.<\/p>\n<p>Plus, there is also the matter of debt accumulation by the USA and biblical prophecy. COGwriter, June 28, 2017)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Anyway, Janet Yellen was wrong, but was still made Secretary of the Treasury by the Biden-Harris Administration.<\/p>\n<p>As far as debt and a future economic crisis, consider an end-time prophecy given to the prophet Habakkuk by God over 2600 years ago:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>2 <\/strong>And the Lord answered me:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWrite the vision;<br \/>\nmake it plain on tablets,<br \/>\nso he may run who reads it.<br \/>\n<strong>3 <\/strong>For still the vision awaits its appointed time;<br \/>\nit hastens to the end\u2014it will not lie.<br \/>\nIf it seems slow, wait for it;<br \/>\nit will surely come; it will not delay.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4 <\/strong>\u201cBehold, his soul is puffed up; it is not upright within him,<br \/>\nbut the righteous shall live by his faith.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5 <\/strong>\u201cMoreover, wine is a traitor,<br \/>\nan arrogant man who is never at rest.<br \/>\nHis greed is as wide as Sheol;<br \/>\nlike death he has never enough.<br \/>\nHe gathers for himself all nations<br \/>\nand collects as his own all peoples.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>6<\/strong> Shall not all these take up their taunt against him, with scoffing and riddles for him, and say,<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWoe to him who heaps up what is not his own\u2014<br \/>\nfor how long?\u2014<br \/>\nand loads himself with pledges!\u201d<br \/>\n<strong>7 <\/strong>Will not your debtors suddenly arise,<br \/>\nand those awake who will make you tremble?<br \/>\nThen you will be spoil for them.<br \/>\n<strong>8 <\/strong>Because you have plundered many nations,<br \/>\nall the remnant of the peoples shall plunder you,<br \/>\nfor the blood of man and violence to the earth,<br \/>\nto cities and all who dwell in them. (Habakkuk 2:2-8; English Standard Version)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The USA is the most indebted nation in the history of humanity and those in it should try to understand this prophecy.<\/p>\n<p>Inflation and the rising of interest rates tends to create a downward spiral.<\/p>\n<p>And though the USA has certain economic strengths that can mitigate it at times, that will not last.<\/p>\n<p>Now, let me also add that it is not just US President Joe Biden who made statements about the strongest economy, former President Donald Trump did as well.<\/p>\n<p>The total USA debt rose massively under Donald Trump and that is not strength. The total USA debt has continued to rise under Joe Biden.<\/p>\n<p>The Anglo-American world order will come to an end. Accumulation of debt, and then having to pay historically \u2018normal\u2019 interest rates will strain the national economy of the USA more than almost anyone will believe. It will be a financial crisis beyond what Janet Yellen would consider possible.<\/p>\n<p>Those who think the current world order with the USA\u2019s dollar on top will last several decades are in error.<\/p>\n<p>Those who will believe the Bible will take the words that God spoke to the prophet Habakkuk seriously.<\/p>\n<p>But looking past Janet Yellen, is Donald Trump the answer?<\/p>\n<p>Well, although he sometimes espouses sounder economic policies than some other politicians, the simple answer is no.<\/p>\n<p>Here is something from my book <a href=\"http:\/\/www.donaldtrumpapocalypse.com\">Donald Trump and America\u2019s Apocalypse<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Like many politicians, Donald Trump does not meet the following:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">21 Moreover you shall select from all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; (Exodus 18:19)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">3 The God of Israel said, The Rock of Israel spoke to me: \u2018He who rules over men must be just, Ruling in the fear of God. (2 Samuel 23:3)<\/p>\n<p>This does not bode well for the U.S.A.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the Bible warns against the type of moral decline that is occurring in the U.S.A.:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">12 Therefore thus says the Holy One of Israel: <strong>\u201cBecause you despise this word, And trust in oppression and perversity, And rely on them, 13 Therefore this iniquity shall be to you<\/strong> Like a breach ready to fall, A bulge in a high wall, Whose breaking comes <strong>suddenly, in an instant<\/strong>. (Isaiah 30:12-13)<\/p>\n<p>But how can this happen to the USA? It will likely happen with a combination of events. Notice:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">5 &#8220;Moreover the multitude of your foes Shall be like fine dust, And the multitude of the terrible ones Like chaff that passes away; Yes, it shall be in an instant, suddenly. 6 You will be punished by the Lord of hosts With thunder and earthquake and great noise, With storm and tempest And the flame of devouring fire. (Isaiah 29:5-6)<\/p>\n<p>The debt situation of the U.S.A. is putting it at risk of being unable to recover should it be hit by weather problems, terrorist acts, war, riots, solar flares, severe earthquakes, civil unrest, devastation of their genetically-modified food supplies, food shortages, and\/or various pestilences\u2013an intensity of \u201csorrows\u201d such as Jesus discussed in Matthew 24:4-8 leading up to the time of the Great Tribulation. Political issues, climate change, trade policies, communication\u2019s deals, and other events are pushing the U.S.A. to a position that will encourage its takeover someday. Disasters, especially if there is an ElectroMagnetic Pulse (EMP) attack or a severe solar flare storm, could be part of a so-called \u201cperfect storm\u201d of events that could set the USA for destruction.<\/p>\n<p>Many sorrows that the U.S.A. will face, like severe weather problems, diseases and earthquakes, will happen in the future, irrespective of who is in the White House (Amos 4:7-10; Luke 21:11). Do not believe that there will not be anymore financial crises or that this current inflationary one is as bad as it will get.<\/p>\n<p>There will be worse economic problems.<\/p>\n<p>Repentance is needed.
