What Is the Great Reset?<\/h2>\n

he coronavirus pandemic is probably the most globally destructive event to take place in our lifetimes. In America alone, it crashed the economy, caused the gross domestic product to fall by the biggest percentage since the Great Depression, pushed 22 million Americans into unemployment, and increased the national debt by nearly $10 trillion. It also caused school closures, anxiety, obesity, alcoholism, crime, drug overdoses and suicide, and it gave radical leftists a means of stealing the 2020 presidential election with fraudulent ballots.<\/p>\n

Yet despite all this destruction, many politicians are excited. Key leaders at international institutions like the World Economic Forum and the United Nations say the coronavirus pandemic is a golden opportunity to \u201creset\u201d the world\u2019s economic and political systems. They say it is time to abolish free markets and implement wealth taxes, government regulations and massive infrastructure spending programs. Having successfully shut down the global economy, they are attempting to convert it into a socialist system governed by central planners.<\/p>\n

Klaus Schwab, a German engineer and economist, wrote that \u201cthe world must act jointly and swiftly to revamp all aspects of our societies and economies, from education to social contracts and working conditions. Every country, from the United States to China, must participate, and every industry, from oil and gas to tech, must be transformed. In short, we need a \u2018Great Reset\u2019 of capitalism\u201d (June 3, 2020).<\/p>\n

Schwab is not a random blogger. He is head of the World Economic Forum. This international lobbying organization based in Geneva, Switzerland, is funded by over 1,000 large corporations, … Many prominent leaders pay attention to Schwab\u2019s ideas. Former U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry declared that the Biden regime supports the Great Reset. Prince Charles of Great Britain said the Great Reset is a chance to prioritize sustainable development without further damaging the planet. Pope Francis has used the opportunity to attack free markets, saying that they make people vulnerable to disease.<\/p>\n

Powerful, wealthy, influential people are openly pushing for this Great Reset. …<\/p>\n

The term \u201cGreat Reset\u201d was popularized by a July 2020 book written by Schwab and Thierry Malleret, titled COVID-19: The Great Reset.<\/em> Yet the idea goes back decades.<\/p>\n

Schwab founded the World Economic Forum in 1971 and introduced a concept he would later call \u201cstakeholder capitalism.\u201d This term sounds innocuous, but the Italian philosopher Giorgio Agamben calls it \u201cCommunist capitalism.\u201d Michael Rectenwald, of American Scholars, calls it \u201ccorporate capitalism.\u201d This is because it resembles the \u201ccorporate socialism\u201d system used by Nazi Germany, fascist Italy, Falangist Spain, Vichy France, Peronist Argentina and many other nations.<\/p>\n

Former judge Andrew Napolitano defines fascism as \u201cprivate ownership, but government control.\u201d Such an economic system differs from communism (government ownership and government control) and capitalism (private ownership and private control). \u201cStakeholder capitalism\u201d is fascism, updated for a 21st-century audience. …<\/p>\n

A New System<\/strong><\/h4>\n

In COVID-19: The Great Reset,<\/em> Schwab and Malleret explain how hyperinflation destroyed the German deutsche mark in the 1920s and how rising debt levels may destroy the American dollar today. Their logic is unassailable. Yet given their role in planning pandemic stimulus spending before there was even a pandemic, you have to wonder whether they engineered the Great Reset to destroy the dollar.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe deep disruption caused by covid<\/span>-19 globally has offered societies an enforced pause to reflect on what is truly of value,\u201d write Schwab and Malleret.<\/em> \u201cWith the economic emergency responses to the pandemic now in place, the opportunity can be seized to make the kind of institutional changes and policy choices that will put economies on a new path towards a fairer, greener future. The history of radical rethinking in the years following World War ii<\/span>, which included the establishment of the Bretton Woods institutions, the United Nations, the EU and the expansion of welfare states, shows the magnitude of the shifts possible.\u201d …<\/p>\n

Schwab\u2019s World Economic Forum was initially called the European Management Forum, and its first meeting was under the patronage of the European Commission and European industrial associations. Its allegiance is to the EU, and its goal is to create a crisis that will overthrow the dollar and force the nations of Europe to unite into a superstate. https:\/\/www.thetrumpet.com\/26068-what-is-the-great-reset<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

King Charles III, prior to his ascension to the British throne, also has been a big proponent of the World Economic Forum’s (WEF’s) Great Reset (see King Charles III speaks, but things for the UK will not end up well<\/a>).<\/p>\n

And, yes, the WEF supports the idea of a European superstate–and it has larger goals for global domination.<\/p>\n

Here are some comments from a draft of a book I have been working on relating to the WEF:<\/p>\n

Did you know that people of various faiths, like Christian, Greco-Roman Catholic, Hopi, Hindu, Islam, and Buddhism are eagerly anticipating a new age of peace to dawn soon? Some expect this will only come about by the emergence of a single and\/or inter-faith religion. Did you know that the Vatican, the World Economic Forum, and the United Nations are working hard toward this goal for the 2030s? …<\/p>\n

The World Worships the Beast<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Book of Revelation teaches:<\/p>\n

8<\/sup> All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. (Revelation 13:8)<\/p>\n

The \u201chim\u201d above is the Babylonian European Beast.<\/p>\n

The \u201cprince of the power of the air\u201d has worked to set the stage for this Beast to have secular and religious supporters of various types.<\/p>\n

Secular organizations such as the World Economic Forum (WEF),[i]<\/a> United Nations,[ii]<\/a> and the Bilderberg Group[iii]<\/a> all support a type of a somewhat ecumenical-interfaith-merged religion (allowing for certain differences)[iv]<\/a> and what could be called a \u2018globalist\u2019 agenda, consistent with prophecies (e.g. Revelation 17:1-5).<\/p>\n

The European Union does as well, however, its view is that Europe should lead a coming \u201cnew world order.\u201d[v]<\/a> The WEF wants to push the \u201cEuropean Way\u201d and wants Europe to lead that new world order.[vi]<\/a><\/p>\n

In May of 2022, World Economic Forum\u2019s Klaus Schwab, who is German, said he wanted to make it \u201cclear\u201d \u2014 \u201cthe future is built by us.\u201d[vii]<\/a> And the WEF will work with others, like European politicians, to make that happen. Furthermore, it has wanted Roman Catholic involvement and Pope Francis has, at least twice, sent Klaus Schwab pro-WEF letters.[viii]<\/a> Former German Defense Minister Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg, who has pushed for more European integration, has personally spoken at a WEF meeting a decade ago[ix]<\/a> and was still listed as part of the WEF on its website in 2022.[x]<\/a> Herr Guttenberg also has directly called for Europe to reorganize.[xi]<\/a> The WEF has called its version of a reorganized world The Great Reset<\/em>.[xii]<\/a> Many aspects of The Great Reset<\/em> align with a future the Bible warns against.<\/p>\n

It needs to be pointed out that this book is not asserting that the United Nations, World Economic Forum, Freemasons, Bilderberg Group, etc. cannot not do anything good. They do have many positive goals, yet also some goals that are opposed by scripture. Despite the good, the Bible warns:<\/p>\n

And, since these groups do not promote the supremacy of the God of the Bible, they, in that sense, labor in vain.<\/p>\n

Globalism Conspiracy or Convergence?<\/a><\/h3>\n

In May of 2022, the World Economic Forum held a conference where thousands of the world\u2019s elites attended, essentially in support of a \u2018great reset\u2019 to change society. In June 2022, the Bilderberg Group met essentially to do the same thing. In June 2022, Pope Francis told a group invited by Cardinal Kurt Koch, \u201cUnity does not come about by standing still.\u201d Whereas the Roman Catholic group, whose co-president in Marc Stengel, called for more cooperation with the United Nations and apparently supporters of Gandhi. The World Council of Churches also supports the globalist agenda as do the Freemasons and others. Could Satan be the real conspirator behind this? Will humanity be able to bring about utopia? Or can true Christian unity and utopia only come about with the return of Jesus and the Kingdom of God? Will the globalist agenda succeed for a time? Fourth Horseman, COVID, and the Rise of the Beast of Revelation<\/a><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The 6th chapter of the Book of Revelation tells of the ride of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. What do each represent? Is the novel coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, part of the fourth horseman? Does the Bible point to around 2 billion people dying from hunger, war, and the beasts of the earth? Was the ancient Roman Empire impacted by pestilences? What about the black death, also known as the Bubonic plague? Are disease epidemics part of the beginning of sorrow and troubles that Jesus spoke about in Matthew 24 and Mark 13? Does the pale green horseman represent Islam? Could genetically modified organisms (GMOs) or synthetic biology cause or contribute to coming pandemics? Is chemical and biological warfare (CBW) a real threat to humanity? What about a doomsday bug or antibiotic resistant superbugs? Is fear a contagion that will help people move away from democracy? Will scientists be able to stop what is coming? While all that sounds bad, there is good news.<\/p>\n

After the coming \u2018Beast reset\u2019 for 3 1\/2 years, Jesus will eliminate the Beast power and establish the millennial Kingdom of God<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This will be a time of abundance and prosperity.<\/p>\n

Christians are to seek first God\u2019s kingdom (Matthew 6:33) and pray for the Kingdom of God<\/a> to come (Matthew 6:10).<\/p>\n

Yet, we also need to expect troubles and tribulation during this decade (Mark 13:8-20).<\/p>\n

On January 18, 2018, the World Economic Forum published an article titled “The world needs a leader. Europe should step up<\/a>” where it pushed for what it called the “European Way.”<\/p>\n

And while it will not go quite “the way” the WEF thinks it will, the world will get a leader from Europe (cf. Revelation 13:1-10)–and there will be a type of totalitarian reset.<\/p>\n
