EU says it has serious concerns about Biden\u2019s Inflation Reduction Act<\/h2>\n

BRUSSELS \u2014 The European Union has \u201cserious concerns\u201d about the U.S. Inflation Reduction Act, saying it breaches international trade rules, according to an official document seen by CNBC.<\/p>\n

The sweeping tax, health and climate bill was approved by U.S. lawmakers in August and includes a record $369 billion in spending on climate and energy policies<\/a>. The landmark package comprises tax credits for electric cars made in North America and supports U.S. battery supply chains.<\/p>\n

European officials have acknowledged the green ambitions associated with the package, but they are worried about \u201cthe way that the financial incentives under the Act are designed,\u201d the document, which will be presented to U.S. officials, says. The EU listed nine of the tax credit provisions that it has an issue with. https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2022\/11\/07\/us-inflation-reduction-act-eu-raises-concerns-risks-wto-dispute.html<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

This is another wedge between the USA and the European Union.<\/p>\n

8. Trade<\/h2>\n

Not all warfare is militaristic. There is also economic warfare.<\/p>\n

This often involves trade.<\/p>\n

The major use of sanctions, mainly pushed by the USA, has been continuing.<\/p>\n

This is affecting trade and pushing trade away from the USA. But also encouraging the Anglo-nations to try to increase trade with each other.<\/p>\n

Back in 2008, I posted the following:<\/p>\n

In the spirit of accommodation and personal interest, many of the \u201cstandards\u201d of the European Union will be adopted by the USA, Canada and Mexico, as well as by nearly all of the countries of the world. The Arab nations will most likely agree with many of the standards as they seem to be destined to form a brief end-time alliance with the Europeans (The Arab World In the Bible, History, and Prophecy<\/a>).<\/p>\n

However, over time, it will become increasingly clear that the British will be in more agreement with the Canadians and Americans and that the European Union in more agreement with the Mexicans than the EU will have with the English-speaking nations.<\/p>\n

Trade wars and\/or serious trade disputes will most likely arise.<\/p>\n

The Brits will ultimately decide that they are more supportive of the Americans and Canadians. They will be so much more supportive that they will end up in a trading agreement with them (with the Australians and New Zealanders probably also becoming part of that agreement).<\/p>\n

The EU will decide that Mexico and the rest of Latin America are in more agreement with it and thus make some type of serious trading agreement with most (or all) of Latin America. The Vatican will also have influence here as Latin America is highly\u00a0Roman Catholic<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Europeans and Americans, however, will continue to have military agreements, though many will be tense about them. (Thiel B.\u00a0A Combined EU & North American Trade Block Coming?<\/a>\u00a0COGwriter.com, March 3, 2008)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Since the above was posted, the Europeans and Americans continue to have military agreements, the UK essentially reduced its trade from the rest of Europe because of Brexit, today we see a UK-NZ trade deal, the EU has made trade deals with Mexico and Latin America (see\u00a0EU\u2019s Juncker essentially verified accuracy of 2008 COGwriter prediction on trade<\/a>), the USA made a new trade deal with Canada (see\u00a0Brexit: \u2018The end is nigh\u2019 and Donald Trump signs Canada-Mexico trade deal<\/a>), the UK and EU continue to have trade friction (see\u00a0DW: EU-UK trade war looming as Northern Ireland Protocol tensions hit boiling point<\/a>), and the EU has continued to push its standards (which is one of the reasons there is an issue related to Brexit and Northern Ireland).<\/p>\n

In 2021, the UK made deals with New Zealand (see CNN: New Zealand and the United Kingdom reach free trade deal<\/a>) and Australia (see UK & Australia make trade deals, so?<\/a>). And the USA made a special deal with the UK and Australia (see AUKUS alliance; EU wants its own stronger military<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Expect the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand to try to increase trade with each other.<\/p>\n

And Europe?<\/p>\n

In 2018, I wrote:<\/p>\n

The Europeans have been working with Latin America, China, Russia’s Eurasian Union, and other areas of the world to try to set up its dominance of world trade as well as standards for world trade. (19 items to prophetically watch in 2019<\/a>)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Such deals have been happening.<\/p>\n

The Bible tells of one who will impose taxes in Daniel 11:20, and we have seen steps by the European Commission, which is headed by Ursula vonder Leyen to do just that. We may see those taxes in 2022 (see European Commission proposing taxes to pay for COVID relief: A step towards the fulfillment of Daniel 11:20?<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Furthermore, Europe will work on getting more of the world to accept its standards and trading matters in 2022. This will help Europe ultimately dominate trade.<\/p>\n

For a time, Babylon will dominate world trade:<\/p>\n

2 And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird! 3 For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.” (Revelation 18:2-3).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

While ‘Babylon’ will not fully reign in 2022, with the USA pulling out of trade deals and\/or wishing to change them, steps are occurring that are pushing Europe to dominate trade (watch Trade Wars: Are COG warnings coming to pass?<\/a>).<\/p>\n

The Europeans will work with many nations to secure stronger trade agreements.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Let it also be stated that the Bible shows that Europe will rise up and become even more prominent in trade.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>The U.S.A. needs to be careful about what it has been asking for. Although it is true that the U.S.A. contributes a vastly disproportionate share to NATO, I have warned that the more the Europeans themselves spend, the more independent they will be about their spending and military priorities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since the Bible says that Europe will have a \u201cgreat army\u201d (Daniel 11:25), we know Europe will end up with a great army. It will also end up with a substantial navy (Daniel 11:40). Europe is prophesied be an amazingly marvelous military power that will surprise the world (Revelation 13:3-4).<\/span><\/p>\n

Trade<\/strong><\/p>\n

But beyond that, many Europeans have been incensed because of the election of Donald Trump. And still are:<\/p>\n

\u201cYou will never rewind history,\u201d the E.U.\u2019s Vice President and foreign affairs chief Josep Borrell told TIME in a Nov. 16 interview. Four years of President Donald Trump, who labeled the bloc a \u201cfoe\u201d and has slapped tariffs on European goods, has left Europeans with a lasting sense that U.S. support is not necessarily dependable, he says. \u201cTrump has been a kind of awakening. And I think we should stay awake,\u201d Borrell says. \u201cWe cannot say \u2018oh Trump is no longer there, we can go back to our previous state of mind.\u2019\u201d (Walt V. ‘Trump Has Been a Kind of Awakening.’ E.U’s Top Diplomat Says Europe’s Relationship With U.S. Is Forever Changed. Europe Won\u2019t Get Any Relief on Trade From Biden<\/strong> … a President Biden would do as little as possible on trade. Now, we would expect trade negotiations with Europe to continue and some type of agreements will happen.\u00a0 In the spirit of accommodation and personal interest, many of the \u201cstandards\u201d of the European Union will be adopted by the U.S.A., as well as by nearly all of the countries of the world.\u00a0 The Arab nations will most likely agree with many of the standards as they seem to be destined to form a brief end-time alliance with the Europeans.<\/p>\n

Yet, misunderstandings and differences of opinion will occur.<\/p>\n

Trade wars and\/or serious trade disputes will most likely arise.<\/p>\n

It is likely that trade issues will be a factor in Europe ultimately turning against the U.S.A. (Thiel B. Biden-Harris: Prophecies and Destruction<\/a><\/span>. Nazarene Books, 2021)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Bible prophesies that end-time Babylon will be a European entity. This European power will have religious ties to the City of Seven Hills\u2013the Church of Rome:<\/p>\n

9<\/span> Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits. \u2026 18<\/span> And the woman whom you saw is that great city which reigns over the kings of the earth.\u201d (Revelation 17:9,18)<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Bible tells of a trading power arising in Europe that is tied to the City of Seven Hills. Europe, the United Nations, and the Vatican have stated that they have agreed on essentially the same future for the world.<\/p>\n

Ultimately, this will not go as well for the UK or its English-speaking allies of the USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.<\/p>\n

Trade will be a factor in what can be called World War III–and this war will be a conflict with Europe (but the ‘shooting’ aspect of this will not happen before 2025; for some details, see When Will the Great Tribulation Begin?<\/a>).<\/p>\n

We continue to see steps that are leading up to it. And yes, Brexit matters are one of them.<\/p>\n
