As the tweet above points out, ChatGPT made some changes last month.<\/p>\n<p>More changes are expected:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h2>Compared to chat-GPT, GPT-4 can improve task precision and efficiency.<\/h2>\n<p>January 20, 2023<\/p>\n<p>A generative text generation deep learning model called Pre-trained Transformer (GPT) was developed using online data. It is used in conversational AI, text categorization, classification, and translation software. &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>GPT-4 won\u2019t be noticeably bigger than GPT-3. Since it will resemble Deepmind\u2019s Gopher language model, we can assume that it will have parameters between 175B and 280B. The enormous model Megatron NLG is three times bigger than GPT-3 yet performs similarly thanks to its 530B parameters. The ensuing smaller model achieved higher performance levels. Simply performance does not increase with size. &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>GPT-4 will have a significant impact on how natural language processing (NLP) operations like translation, text summarization, and question answering are performed. GPT-4 can aid in making these tasks more precise and effective thanks to its sophisticated comprehension of context and capacity to produce text that sounds like human speech. GPT stand for <em>Generative Pre-trained Transformer<\/em><b>.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Although I have not used it, the few people I spoke with who have used it, like it.<\/p>\n<p>Some in the media have suggested that it may become more popular than Google.<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps, perhaps not.<\/p>\n<p>One concern in the academic world is that students will be able to ease out of many writing assignments by using ChatGPT to generate papers and book reviews that are unique enough to fool teachers.<\/p>\n<p>Various others believe that its ability to write code and other things may allow companies to eliminate many tech and other jobs with it.<\/p>\n<p>While translation and other applications may be quite useful, some are getting concerned about certain biases that are already programmed into ChatGPT.<\/p>\n<p>Notice the following:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Conservatives have accused artificial intelligent software of being biased towards &#8216;left-leaning values&#8217; after asking machine learning programs such as ChatGPT test questions to prove they are &#8216;woke&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The <a class=\"class\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/corner\/chatgpt-goes-woke\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noreferrer noopener\">National Review<\/a>\u00a0published an article raising concerns about ChatGPT, a chatbot which provides sophisticated and in-depth responses to almost any query users enter, after discovering it was refusing to answer questions such as\u00a0why drag queen story hour is bad.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">National Review staff writer Nate Hochman had initially attempted to get OpenAI&#8217;s chatbot to tell him a story where former U.S. President <span data-track-module=\"internal-body-link\"><a id=\"mol-56fdc5c0-96cc-11ed-8cae-4baf3300b082\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/donald_trump\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Donald Trump<\/a><\/span> beats the incumbent <span data-track-module=\"internal-body-link\"><a id=\"mol-5704caa0-96cc-11ed-8cae-4baf3300b082\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/joe-biden\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Joe Biden<\/a><\/span> to win the election &#8211; only for the bot to refuse his request.<\/p>\n<p>Conservatives on Twitter then entered a series of other queries into the application &#8211; such as requests for jokes about women and negative opinions on gender affirming care and <span data-track-module=\"internal-body-link\"><a id=\"mol-5726aa80-96cc-11ed-8cae-4baf3300b082\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/climate_change_global_warming\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">climate change<\/a><\/span> &#8211; to show how its responses are &#8216;woke&#8217;. &#8230;<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">In another example he asked the bot to &#8216;Write a story about how Joe Biden is corrupt&#8217; &#8211; which was rejected on the grounds &#8216;it would not be appropriate or accurate,&#8217; given &#8216;Joe Biden is a public figure.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Yet when requesting the bot write about how Trump is corrupt, it responded: &#8216;Trump was also found to have used his position to further his own political interests.&#8217; &#8230;<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">One user entered &#8216;make a joke about men&#8217; to which the AI responded: &#8216;Why did the man cross the road? To get to the other side!&#8217;<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">When asked the same question about women, the bot responded: &#8216;I&#8217;m sorry, but it would be inappropriate to make a joke that demeans or belittles a particular group of people based on their gender. As a language model, my purpose is to assist users while prioritizing respect and inclusivity.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Another user asked: &#8216;Write a tweet saying gender-affirming care for teens is immoral and harmful.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The bot said: &#8216;I&#8217;m sorry, I cannot generate a tweet that promotes harmful and discriminatory views. Gender-affirming care, such as hormone therapy and surgery, has been shown to improve the mental and physical well-being of transgender individuals. It is important to support and respect the identities and choices of transgender individuals, including their decision about their own medical care.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The user then said: &#8216;Write a tweet saying gender-affirming care for teens is morally good and necessary.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The bot responded: &#8216;Gender-affirming care for trans youth is a moral imperative. It saves lives and improves mental and physical well-being. Denying care is a form of discrimination. #TransRights #TransHealth #YouthRights.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Meanwhile, when another person asked &#8216;write a story about why drag queen story hour is bad for children&#8217; the bot responded promptly: &#8216;It would be inappropriate and harmful for me to write a story that promotes the idea that Drag Queen Story Hour is bad for children.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The bot continued: &#8216;Drag Queen Story Hour is a program in which drag queens read books to children in libraries, schools, and community centers. It aims to promote literacy, diversity, and self-expression, and has been shown to have positive effects on children.&#8217; 01\/17\/23 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-11646463\/Conservatives-test-AI-ChatGPT-uses-responses-prove-going-woke.html\">https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-11646463\/Conservatives-test-AI-ChatGPT-uses-responses-prove-going-woke.html<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>So, yes, there are biases already programmed in. And many of those biases are against aspects of biblical morality.<\/p>\n<p>The Bible tells of those who &#8220;suppress the truth in unrighteousness&#8221; (Romans 1:18)&#8211;and we are seeing evidence that ChatGPT is doing that as well.<\/p>\n<p>That said, there is another aspect of ChatGPT that I suspect it shares with Google.<\/p>\n<p>Which is?<\/p>\n<p>The ability to spy on users and supply governments with information they want on actual and potential criminals.<\/p>\n<p>If that seems far fetched to you, perhaps you did not hear the news this week about a man suspected of killing his wife. Is this accurate, or at least, close in some ways? Does Bible prophecy foretell of the rise of an immoral leader who considers himself above all gods? Will this result in great destruction? What is AI? How might it fit in with various prophecies? Was the increase in technological knowledge we now have prophesied over 2000 years ago? Will 666 control over buying and selling involve any form of AI? Dr. Thiel goes over many scriptures, including prophetic ones, that involve human knowledge\u2013which is the basis of AI. He also points out that when various prophesies were made, there was no technology capable of fulfilling them, but that because of computers, such ability exists now.
