A reader sent me a link to the following:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h2>Sen. Marco Rubio Slams French President\u2019s Call to \u2018Break Away\u2019 from U.S.: \u2018Does Macron Speak for Europe?\u2019<\/h2>\n<p class=\"subheading\">Slamming recent comments by French President Emmanuel Macron, who appeared to advocate a distancing of Europe from the U.S., Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) called to clarify whether other European nations stand by Macron\u2019s position and to readjust our alliance in accordance.<\/p>\n<p class=\"a8d-pre\">In a roughly two-minute clip, Rubio began by citing Macron\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/news\/macron-says-europe-must-not-be-follower-of-us-china-on-taiwan\/\">comments<\/a>\u00a0to reporters after visiting China, including his stance that Europe should \u201cbreak away\u201d from the U.S. and \u201cnot depend on the dollar,\u201d as well as the need to avoid conflicts \u201cthat are not their[s]\u201d such as the one over Taiwan.<\/p>\n<p>Calling it a \u201cgood moment for us to ask Europe [whether] Macron speak[s] for all of Europe,\u201d Rubio questioned if the French president is now \u201cthe head of Europe\u201d and \u201cthe most powerful leader in Europe.\u201d &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>However, he warned, \u201cif, in fact, Macron speaks for all of Europe, and their position now is they\u2019re not gonna pick sides between the U.S. and China over Taiwan; maybe we shouldn\u2019t be picking sides either.\u201d\u00a0 &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo we need to find out where Europe stands,\u201d he concluded.<\/p>\n<p>The remarks follow an interview published Sunday which quoted Macron as saying Europe must not be a \u201cfollower\u201d of either the U.S. or China on Taiwan in order to avoid \u201ccrises that aren\u2019t ours.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe worst thing would be to think that we Europeans must be followers and adapt ourselves to the American rhythm and a Chinese overreaction,\u201d he told the media as he returned from a three-day state visit Friday. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2023\/04\/09\/marco-rubio-slams-french-presidents-call-break-away-us-does-macron-speak-europe\/\">https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2023\/04\/09\/marco-rubio-slams-french-presidents-call-break-away-us-does-macron-speak-europe\/<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The tweet at the beginning of this post shows that after the above, France&#8217;s President Macron made European unity statements later in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n<p>Last October, France&#8217;s President Macron had succeeded in getting a new European-wide group together:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Leaders from 44 European countries met Thursday in Prague in the inaugural meeting of the European Political Community, a new regional group seeking to find strategies to address shared concerns such as energy, the economy and Russia\u2019s invasion of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>The group was the brainchild of French President Emmanuel Macron and includes all 27 members of the European Union, plus 17 other nations, some of which are seeking EU membership.<\/p>\n<p>The only two European nations not invited were Russia and its neighboring ally Belarus.<\/p>\n<p>In remarks to open the meeting, Macron said the group\u2019s existence is aimed at sending a message of unity to all European nations by building \u201ca strategic closeness\u201d and finding common strategies. Turkey, for example, will one day support the Beast. So, the map shown in the tweet above looks like it could be that of the coming Beast (although places in Asia like Armenia will align with Russia).<\/p>\n<p>As far as security concerns go, let me add that throughout the years, President Macron has pushed for a stronger European military&#8211;one that is NOT dependent upon the USA.<\/p>\n<p><em>Politico<\/em> had the following about Europe and its military:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h2 class=\"article-meta__title\">When will Europe learn to defend itself?<\/h2>\n<p>September 27, 2022<\/p>\n<p>Macron continually<a href=\"https:\/\/presidence-francaise.consilium.europa.eu\/en\/news\/french-president-emmanuel-macron-s-speech-at-the-european-parliament-strasbourg-19-january-2022\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> talks a huge game on Europe establishing its own security agenda<\/a> but his pledges \u2014 along with those of many other senior European politicians \u2014 to pursue a policy of European \u201cstrategic autonomy\u201d in which the EU will massively reduce its military dependency on the U.S. have so far been almost exclusively rhetorical. &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>In a keynote speech this month, German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht acknowledged that the situation was untenable.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGermany and the Europeans depend on a peace order that they cannot guarantee on their own,\u201d Lambrecht said, adding that this was particularly problematic as America is increasingly turning \u201cits main attention\u201d to the Pacific.<\/p>\n<p>Washington \u201cmay no longer be able to guarantee the defense of Europe to the same extent as it did in the past,\u201d the minister said. \u201cThe conclusion is clear: We Europeans, and thus most prominently we Germans, must therefore do more to be able to credibly show so much military strength ourselves that other powers will not even think of attacking us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Yet whether those words will be followed by action remains unclear.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.eu\/article\/emmanuel-macron-olaf-scholz-defense-europe-strategic-autonomy-ukraine-war\/\">https:\/\/www.politico.eu\/article\/emmanuel-macron-olaf-scholz-defense-europe-strategic-autonomy-ukraine-war\/<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Yes, Europe has talked. In December 2017, 25 European nations agreed to be part of a military alliance called PESCO. Europe also has NATO and IEI. Will Europe end up with \u201ca great army\u201d? Has Donald Trump\u2019s announcement to withdraw from the 1987 Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty gotten some to say that Europe must rebel against the USA? Is the idea of a United States of Europe and a European army a \u201cparanoid fantasy\u201d or a biblical reality? Will the USA regret Europe becoming a stronger military power? Will the USA be betrayed by \u201cfriends\u201d such as its continental European allies? Does the Bible teach any or all of this? Daniel 11:29-43).<\/p>\n<p>That is what President Macron wants.<\/p>\n<p>Notice that the Bible tells of a coming time of massive devastation:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>23 &#8216;The whole land is brimstone, salt, and burning; it is not sown, nor does it bear, nor does any grass grow there, like the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, which the Lord overthrew in His anger and His wrath.&#8217; (Deuteronomy 29:23-24)<\/p>\n<p>19 Through the wrath of the LORD of hosts<br \/>\nThe land is burned up,<br \/>\nAnd the people shall be as fuel for the fire; No man shall spare his brother.<br \/>\n20 And he shall snatch on the right hand<br \/>\nAnd be hungry;<br \/>\nHe shall devour on the left hand<br \/>\nAnd not be satisfied; Every man shall eat the flesh of his own arm. 21 Manasseh shall devour Ephraim, and Ephraim Manasseh; Together they shall be against Judah (Isaiah 9:19-21, NKJV).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The above descriptions are consistent with a nuclear or similar attack. Manasseh represents the USA and Ephraim its British-descended allies (see <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cogwriter.com\/britishisrael.htm\">Anglo &#8211; America in Prophecy &amp; the Lost Tribes of Israel<\/a>). The prophecy shows they will war against the British and the American peoples.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\">&#8220;And the ten horns which thou sawest are TEN kings (kingdoms), which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the BEAST&#8221; (Rev. 17:12).<\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\">France REPRESENTS today one of these 10 Kings. This Union of 10 Kingdoms is already in formation in Europe. In fact, France is at present one of its key members. As this prophecy reveals, this union will receive authority &#8220;for one hour&#8221; only-that is, a short time-because it is like &#8220;iron mixed with miry clay&#8221; (Dan. 2:43) &#8230;<\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\">Ask any average Frenchman what he thinks of his country&#8217;s union with Germany. He is utterly puzzled at the idea that economic and political barriers are gradually falling between France and Germany. This union for him is unreal but demanded by the circumstances in which France today finds herself. It is a creation of the leaders of the two nations who blindly believe in its destiny. (Apartian D. Prophecy Reveals the Future of France. Plain Truth, August 1963, p. 19)<\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\">During the last two WORLD WARS France was at the side of her natural allies, the Anglo-Saxons. They are, indeed, her natural allies because the French people, in turn, are the modern DESCENDANTS of one of the twelve tribes of Israel, namely REUBEN! The situation, however, will be quite different during the <em>next<\/em> WORLD WAR, France will no longer fight at the side of her former allies; she will turn AGAINST them. The descendants of Reuben will play their part in selling into slavery their brother Joseph &#8211; just as Reuben did some 3700 years ago. You are now beginning to see why the relations between the United States of America and France are gradually deteriorating. (Apartian D. France: The Enigma of our Time. Plain Truth, August 1966, pp. 11-12)<\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\">(Gen. 37:18-20). Notice well what took place. The brothers CONSPIRED against Joseph; filled with jealousy, they wanted to KILL him. Afterwards, they would LIE to their father, telling him that a wild beast had devoured Joseph. What about the next two verses, some may argue? Well, let&#8217;s once again examine them in the light of the Biblical account, and let US not be misled by our <em>human<\/em> reasoning.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"style3\">&#8220;And Reuben heard it [the plot to kill Joseph], and he delivered him out of their hands; and said, Let us not kill him. And Reuben said unto them, Shed no blood, but cast him into this pit that is in the wilderness, and lay no hand Upon him; that he might rid him out of their hands, to deliver him to his father again (verses 21, 22).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"style3\">At first glance, it may seem, indeed , as though Reuben acted well. He proposed an<em> alternative<\/em> to deliver Joseph out of his brothers&#8217; hands. This sounds good to our human mind, to our carnal way of thinking. But is that what was expected of Reuben? Is that all he could do- he, the firstborn? Was his duty to <em>compromise<\/em> with his brothers over whom he had authority? According to the Bible, a firstborn in Israel had certain privileges his brothers did not have. His <em>heritage<\/em> was bigger and he received the greater portion of the <em>blessings<\/em>. He was next to his father in power and authority. Therefore, as the leader of his brothers, Reuben was actually RESPONSIBLE for what happened to Joseph. He should have acted the way Jacob, his father, would have acted had he been there- and not have compromised with them. Many overlook this important point when they read this story. Consequently, they don&#8217;t see where Reuben failed. No, Reuben did NOT act with courage and dignity. He was afraid of his brothers; he FEARED for his own life if he tried to stop them by force. COMPROMISE is all he could think of &#8211; but compromise is a very poor substitute for one&#8217;s own duties and responsibilities. &#8230;<\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\"><strong>A Striking Parallel <\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\">There may be a striking parallel between Reuben&#8217;s behavior in the past and that of France today. Indeed, in a few years, Reuben&#8217;s modern descendants will be at the side of the prophesied &#8220;beast&#8221; of Revelation when the Anglo-Saxons (the descendants of Joseph) are <em>taken captive<\/em>. France, like her forefather Reuben, will probably seek a <em>compromise<\/em> to prevent her former allies &#8211; the very SONS of Joseph &#8211; from being taken captive by the enemy. But what good will that really do? What good did it do to Joseph?<\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\">A compromise never relieves one from one&#8217;s own responsibilities. Without a doubt, Reuben loved his brother; he exerted himself <em>in his own ways<\/em>, through his own <em>human reasoning<\/em>, to save him. But the fact remains that he ended up by acting <em>like a foe<\/em>! France today also likes her &#8220;kin,&#8221; her natural allies. But, unless she repents, France will end up BEING a foe!<\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\">(Apartian D. France: The Enigma of our Time. Plain Truth, August 1966, p. 32)<\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\">Like all nations today, France has turned away from God. Catholic by faith, 9 out of 10 Frenchmen have never read their Bible, nor do they believe that, in its entirety, it represents the WORD OF GOD. What then will happen to France? Will she <em>win<\/em> the <em>next<\/em> WAR? She is presently a member of the &#8220;Common Market&#8221; which is <em>already<\/em> becoming a POLITICAL union. It will eventually include TEN nations or kingdoms.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\">Will this union <em>win<\/em> the third WORLD WAR?<\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\">God says that though He will <em>allow<\/em> it for a short while to conquer the descendants of Joseph (the BRITISH and AMERICAN peoples), He Himself will intervene to deliver His people. Jesus Christ, at His second coming, will fight and <em>destroy<\/em> those nations who rebel against Him (Rev. 17 : -14). (Apartian D. De Gaulle and the Next World War. Plain Truth, September 1964, p. 41)<\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\">At the second coming of Jesus Christ, the TEN KINGS or KINGDOMS-including France-will be of &#8220;one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast&#8221; (Rev. 17:13).<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"style3\">&#8220;These shall make war with the Lamb , (Jesus Christ, and the lamb shall overcome them; for he is LORD of lords, and KING of kings: and they that are with Him are called, and chosen, and faithful&#8221; (Rev. 17:14).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"style3\">This is the infallible prophecy of the Bible. However, let me add that I believe that the UK will be part of the Beast because it will be conquered and ruled by the Beast. Yet, we see some cooperation now.<\/p>\n<p>It is my view that Europe will, one day, attack the USA and\/or the UK under the guise of a NATO (or some other defense treaty) exercise and use nuclear bombers.
