In his sermon in Detroit yesterday, which he titled God’s Witness is Ending, Part 2<\/em>, CGPFK’s Ronald Weinland<\/a> called for a church-wide fast for January 3, 2009.<\/p>\n

Ronald Weinland then made such statements as:<\/p>\n

The book title 2008: God’s Final Witness<\/em> is very significant as 2008 is the final witness of mankind and his attitude towards God…<\/p>\n

God has given one year, 2008, as a time that sums up the past 6,000 years.\u00a0 And then its time for us to enter into Great Tribulation…<\/p>\n

He then mentioned some things that did not happen as his book indicated.\u00a0 Then he said:<\/p>\n

If people want to get upset with me about those things in the book, so be it.<\/p>\n

The fact is that if Ronald Weinland was God’s prophet and final witness, he certainly would have not made the type of mistakes he made.<\/p>\n

Ronald Weinland then said:<\/p>\n

The first trumpet was blown on December 14th…Hail and fire mingled with blood.\u00a0 It doesn’t say it is immediate…the first trumpet is not like that…it is all spirituallized away….that’s right…they are very spiritual in nature…it’s about judgment.<\/p>\n

So, let us look at the scripture for the first trumpet:<\/p>\n

7 The first angel sounded: And hail and fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. And a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up. (Revelation 8:7)<\/p>\n

Nothing like that happened two weeks ago, though December 14, 2008 was Ronald Weinland’s date (see 1260 Days: Ronald and Laura Weinland Back in Jerusalem<\/a>).\u00a0\u00a0 People need to compare what Ronald Weinland declares with the Bible and they will see that he is a false prophet.<\/p>\n

Additionally if 2008 was GOD’S FINAL WITNESS, more people would have heard from the two witnesses.\u00a0 But relatively few have heard of Ronald Weinland, and even less his wife Laura–who he declared to have been the second of the two witnesses on April 17, 2008 (see Ronald Weinland Again Calls for Death<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Well, 2008 is basically over.\u00a0 Ronald Weinland has been proven false, yet some still follow him.\u00a0 Eventually, hopefully those who still are following him will actually depend more upon their Bibles than his explanations and writings.<\/p>\n

No one should follow this repeatedly proven false prophet.<\/p>\n
