The public launch may not be immediate, but a launch is happening. &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>The BRICS have the necessary tech (BiS helps here), Gold, and financial architecture worked out to do it. Putin likes to tease in KGB tactical style. Then there are the additional 17-21 nations that want to be part of BRICS (and there is some overlap with the SCO). Together, if BRICS accepts the SCO and those wanting to join BRICS, then this would represent more than 1\/2 of the world&#8217;s population.<\/p>\n<p>As long-time readers of this COGwriter Church of God page know, for years I have warned that there will be consequences of USA sanctions (e.g., from 2018, watch: <a id=\"video-title\" class=\"yt-simple-endpoint style-scope ytd-grid-video-renderer\" title=\"US Sanctions and Tariffs leading to New World Order?\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=6GkipodUq_I\" aria-label=\"US Sanctions and Tariffs leading to New World Order? by BibleNewsProphecy 2 hours ago 15 minutes 19 views\">US Sanctions and Tariffs leading to New World Order?<\/a>). Plus there are behind the scenes actions that the USA has taken which have upset many nations it has not formally sanctioned.<\/p>\n<p>Having more nations push aside the USA dollar will hurt the economy of the USA, which to a great degree, is tied to the world accepting its dollar and debt&#8211;but that will not last per Habakkuk 2:6-8.<\/p>\n<p>As far as Jim Rickards goes, last month, <em>Daily Reckoning<\/em> posted the following:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h2>Rickards Drops Bombshell<\/h2>\n<p>June 7, 2023<\/p>\n<p>On Aug. 22, about 2\u00bd months from today, the most significant development in international finance since 1971 will be unveiled.<\/p>\n<p>It involves the rollout of a major new currency that could weaken the role of the dollar in global payments and ultimately displace the U.S. dollar as the leading payment currency and reserve currency.<\/p>\n<p>It could happen in just a few years.<\/p>\n<p>The process by which this will happen is unprecedented, and the world is unprepared for this geopolitical shock wave.<\/p>\n<p>This monetary shock will be delivered by a group called the BRICS. &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>There are currently eight nations that have formally applied for membership and 17 others that have expressed interest in joining. The eight formal applicants are: Algeria, Argentina, Bahrain, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.<\/p>\n<p>The 17 countries that have expressed interest are: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Pakistan, Senegal, Sudan, Syria, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, Uruguay, Venezuela and Zimbabwe. &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>The BRICS+ present a realistic effort to de-dollarize global payments and eventually global reserves.<\/p>\n<p>For years, I\u2019ve argued that the dollar would remain the world\u2019s leading reserve currency for longer than most people think.<\/p>\n<p>But &#8230; a new BRICS+ currency could greatly accelerate the demise of the dollar as the world\u2019s leading reserve currency. &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>The currency will be pegged to a basket of commodities for use in trade among members. Initially, the BRICS+ commodity basket would include oil, wheat, copper and other essential goods traded globally in specified quantities.<\/p>\n<p>In all likelihood, the new BRICS+ currency would not be available in the form of paper notes for use in everyday transactions. It would be a digital currency on a permissioned ledger maintained by a new BRICS+ financial institution with encrypted message traffic to record payments due or owing by participating parties.\u00a0 &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Based on the impracticality of commodity baskets as uniform stores of value, it appears likely that the new BRICS+ currency will be linked to a weight of gold. &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>the BRICS+ currency offers the opportunity to leapfrog the Treasury market and create a deep, liquid bond market that could challenge Treasuries on the world stage almost from thin air.<\/p>\n<p>The key is to create a BRICS+ currency bond market in 20 or more countries at once, relying on retail investors in each country to buy the bonds. <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyreckoning.com\/rickards-drops-bombshell\/\">https:\/\/dailyreckoning.com\/rickards-drops-bombshell\/<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Yes, major steps are being taken to push aside the dominance of the USA dollar.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, gold looks to be involved.
